One of the most common things asked by those who have tooth ache is how to relieve the pain without going to a dentist. Since dentists are best equipped to handle dental problems, you should always visit your dentist when such problems occur.
I have included in this article one toothache remedy for quick pain relief. There are many home remedies you can use and some will be more effective in some cases than others. What is good for someone might be bad for someone else, but don't fret since there are a lot of methods available and you will probably obtain the help you want from one of them.
One of the most simple methods to use is just numbing the pain with ice - this can be done in two ways. This method has one issue: it has to be done at home since people generally don't carry ice with them wherever they go.
First, hold an ice pack (which can be made from some ice cubes placed into a cloth or tissue) and holding it next to the side of the mouth of the sore tooth. This should help to ease and numb the pain - it is very easy to do and is quite quick for natural tooth pain relief, so give it a try.
Another manner of accomplishing this is to ice the inflamed tooth. Do not apply stress on your tooth.
You should do neither of these at all if the pain increases. Sometimes the ice can actually make it even worse so if you notice this then immediately stop doing it.
