LOVE IS AN ILLUSION CONTEST!

Hello~ Misa here! I've decided, after much convincing, to do a contest! I understand that since I've started this contest during the school year, some of you might not be able to have time to actually do it. So, the deadline is set on DECEMBER 15 2010. If the deadline needs to be extended, it shall be extended. Please read the rules for more details.

The theme for this contest is: LOVE IS AN ILLUSION. This theme can be interpreted in many ways. It's up to you to decide what it means.

THE MAIN FOCUS:

1. You could pretty much write for anything (because I've read a lot of mangas, and seen a lot of animes). Original stories are also accepted. However, if you want to have a better idea, these are some of the titles that I'm familiar with:

2. Oneshots/Songfics are preferred for this contest. If you want, you may do drabbles, ficlets, poems, and/or lyrics. If you choose to do drabbles, you must submit at least three drabbles. If you choose to do ficlets, you must at least submit two ficlets. As for poems and lyrics, you can choose to submit one poem/lyric, or more, the maximum being five.

3. You can enter more than once, however, the maximum is two entries.

4. As mentioned in the beginning, the deadline is DECEMBER 15 2010! If you feel the need for a deadline extension, please notify me, and I'll be happy to extend it for you.

5. You can choose any pairings you like: canonxcanon, OCxOC, ReaderxOC, ReaderxCanon, and so on. Also, sexual orientations does not matter, because in my ideal world, we're all open minded.

6. It's up to you to which point of view you prefer to write in.

7. Please, no Mary-Sues...or Gary-Stus, unless you have a good reason for it.

JUDGING:

These are 3 main criterias I'm judging all entries for:

1. Your interpretation of the theme LOVE IS AN ILLUSION. This ties in with your creativity and your original ideas.

2. Grammar, spelling, and etc. Of course, it is the most important factor, as it will affect your story.

3. Characterization (if you chose to do oneshot/songfic/drabbles/ficlets). Character development is important!

PRIZES:

First place: Three banners, a oneshot/songfic and 10-15 drabbles.

Second place: two banners, five drabbles.

Third place: One banner, two ficlets

Please understand that it may take me a while to actually finish the prizes if you win.
