~SIX HOURS LATER~
(Joel)-*whispering in your ear* Hey! Hey! *____*, wake up!
(you)-*groggy* Hm? Joel? Why...aren't you supposed to be in Seattle?
(Joel)-We came out here to check on Benji, remember?
(you)-Oh, yeah, that's right...
(Joel)-So how is he?
(you)-I think he's okay. He's still breathing...
(Joel)-Thank god I didn't lose him. You...have you been here with all this time?
(you)-Yeah, for about...*check your watch* six or seven hours.
(Joel)-No wonder Benji loves you so much, *____*-you're loyal to the core. I admire that in you.
(you)-Thank you.
(Joel)-I'm serious. No other girl has ever been around for either of us like this...well, any girl outside of family. But...then again, I do kinda think of you as a sister, you know that, *____*?
(you)-*surprised* Really?
(Joel)-Sure! Is there a problem with that?
Your mind flashes back and recalls your nightmare (see Chapter 31, "Seducer", to know what what I'm talking about), which makes you shudder. You realize that it was only a dream, your imagination running wild.
(you)-No, nothing wrong with that.
(Joel)-Cool. Love you like a sister...which is kind of convenient if you and Benji decide to take the plunge.
(you)-You mean if he and I get married?
(Joel)-What else could I possibly mean? Yes, if you and Benji get married , I'd be your brother-in-law.
A silence follows as that soaks into your brain. It's mind-boggling how you went from a fan rescued in the snow...to the girlfriend/possible future wife of Benji Madden. You know you would not change it even of given the chance, but it's so strange and almost surreal. Suddenly, you meet the unassuming, inquisitive gaze of Joel, and you know-without logical explanation of why or how-that he is harboring a burning, very important question.
(Joel)-Do you want to marry my brother?
The question is no less surprising to you, and it hurts because you don't know how to give a straight answer to the inquiry. You love Benji, there's no question about that-however, you are in no way sure that you are ready for that kind of commitment. Joel, as if in tune with you, realizes that his question has caused agony for you and averts his eyes. He is wise not to press for a response from you, and you once again fall asleep. Later, you are awakened by Benji's kiss, only to find that the guys are ready to leave.

Did you read the memo? Good, so you know what's going on. So should I start typing the story up on a different sn or wait 'til this one is done with and type it up under the alias cRazYWeIrd?
