[JustinBieber] Pop Meets Hardcore [ChapterTwentySix]
So, this is kind of late. I don't know anymore. But usually I post extremely often. I'm sorry if you don't like this. Honestly, I was having such a hard time ending this chapter. There's a lot going on right now; I don't even know how to act at this point. But writing helps and I apologize (to myself as well) that this chapter lacks compared to the others. I would love advice. I want to thank Vekka (I'm pretty sure that's your username, I'm blanking a little) for all her help. Anyway, enjoy.
Braelyn Breaks Answers Readers’ Questions
Q: A lot of your fans disliked the fact that you were dating Justin Bieber and made that publicly known. What did you think of that?
A: I thought that it was ridiculous and rude. There’s no reason for anyone to feel the need to comment on my love life. Honestly, I'm not the nicest person, I'm not a nice person, and I’ll admit that. I don’t find a reason for anyone to contact him and threaten him because he’s dating me. It’s not acceptable and I'm embarrassed to call those people my fans. Therefore, those people aren't truly fans because they’re not okay with what brings me happiness. I refuse to call people who made their hatred of Justin publicly known when they found out the two of us were together my fans. It’s a disgrace.

“Braelyn, Braelyn, over here. Wave to the camera.”
“Braelyn, what are you doing here? Are you and Justin back together?”
“Jasmine, how is the new album going? When is it going to be released?”
“Braelyn, does Justin know that you’re here? Will you take a picture with him?”
“Jasmine, stop and pose for a picture!”
“Jasmine, whose dress are you wearing? Are you touring with Justin again?”
“Braelyn, Braelyn, Braelyn, come talk to us!”
“Braelyn, Jasmine, the two of you, pose together for a picture! You two look amazing!”
Lowering my head slightly, I raised a hand, waving gently to the paparazzi surrounding the grounds. Riley placed a hand on my elbow, pushing me forward.
Jasmine smiled at the cameras, the two of us pausing to allow the cameras to flash. “The album comes out in two months but this is Justin’s night so that’s not really important.”
Keeping my gaze on the ground, I tried to calm my breathing. I couldn’t see straight, my vision was blurring, as I was becoming lightheaded from the swarm of emotions.
Part of me wanted to see him, to be able to give him a hug and congratulate him, stay by his side the entire night like I was planning to a month and a half ago.
The other part of me wanted to climb back in that limo, rest my head on Riley’s shoulder, and bawl my eyes out, my mascara freely running down my cheeks.
“Braelyn, hi, I'm Mario Lopez of Entertainment Tonight.” He appeared in front of me, standing next to Jasmine. His teeth were too white to ever look natural, but his smile was adorable.
Nodding, I awkwardly ran my hand down the side of my dress, trying to smooth out the fabric. “It’s nice to meet you.” The last time I watched you on television you announced to the entire world that my boyfriend had been cheating on me.
Extending his hand out to shake mine, I complied, allowing him to shake my small hand in his large hand. Riley straightened up, his muscles noticeably tensing; having watched the segment that Mario had done on Justin and me.
Glancing at Jasmine, I saw her bit down on her lip, not knowing what to do. “Riley, can you come over to the fans with me? I want to sign autographs but I would feel safer with you there.”
Riley looked at me, his eyes questioning me. I nodded, running a hand aimlessly through my hair, as he walked towards the gates holding back the fans with Jasmine.
Returning my attention to Mario, I blushed under as a camera appeared in front of me. “Um, yeah…”
“Do you have time for just a couple of questions?” Mario asked, running his fingers through the front of his hair, trying to get it to stay in the correct style.
Shrugging, I gulped, not wanting to do this alone. “I have until Jasmine comes back with Riley.” My foot began tapping, telling my body that I was nervous.
Mario nodded, gesturing to the cameraman to turn it on, focusing on me. “Okay, so I have to ask, and I'm sorry, but everyone wants to know. How did you find out about Justin and Selena?”
I could either tell the truth, make Justin seem like much more of a terrible person. Or I could lie, not wanting to tell the press anything that I deem as personal, not really wanting to get into the whole story in fear of crying. “I was watching Entertainment Tonight with Zack and TJ.”
His smile dropped to a frown, nervously coughing at the awkward atmosphere lingering around us. “That’s terrible. Does he know that you’re here?”
Tilting my head to the side, I squinted against the blinking lights. “Pattie knows that I'm here. Ryan and Chaz know that I'm here. I'm pretty sure that he knows I'm here.”
Mario smiled, laughing softly. “You’re a very pretty girl. How did Justin ever get you? Not that he can’t get a pretty girl but you two seem different on the exterior.”
“We’re not different, really. I mean, we’re different enough that we were able to keep a conversation for hours. I know you didn’t mean for it to sound this way but he didn’t ‘get me’; I'm not an object. The two of us just clicked. There’s nothing more to it.”

Sticking the knuckle of my finger in my mouth, I bit down, trying to distract the tears clouding my eyes. Looking down at the purse on my lap, a single tear fell down my cheek.
There truly was no reason for me to cry after this long. Part of me knew that he was going to write a song about what had happened, Ryan and Jasmine warning me well in advance.
But I didn’t know that the song would hold this emotion; the emotion that tells him that he still needs me. It wasn’t fair to me, knowing that I was here and doing it anyway.
It wasn’t going to be easy to forget what he had done to me. Memories didn’t fade, they grew stronger and more vivid each time I thought of them.
His eyes met mine, the moment I looked up to brush away the tear. Riley sighed, noticing the tear, running a hand through his hair, trying to figure out what a brother would do at this moment in time.
Biting his bottom lip, he ran a hand through his hair, speechless for a moment. “Um, hey there.”
