Jak and Dexter? Oh, I saved them once... You want me to WHAT?! characters and part 1

Name: Tola

Age: 18 (same as Jak, not confirmed though...)

Hair: blonde, but the tips are green.

Eyes: Red (might change, not sure)

Clothing: Red top that only covers half of her stomach, and only has one strap. Wears a red short skirt, but with black pants under. Also wears black boots. (Any kind of boots you want.. as long as they are black^^)

A normal day.. I would say. Just traveling like always, searching for the person I rescued from the Precursers a while ago. I am on a mission... It is something I did not plan on doing.

I left my home for good, since I would not do the job. I refused, then ran from the room, to pack and leave.

Ah, I still remember that day....

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Flashback~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
I was running out to the Sage's hut at the top of the hill, he was needed from my parents for my sick little brother.

"I hope i'm not intruding." I said aswalked shyly into the top half of the hut.

"Oh, not at all, I was just waiting for Jak, and the fur ball." The Sage said, turning to face me, "Something you need?"

"Oh, right, Haha, "I scratched the back of my head, "My parents require your help, my little brother is ill."

"I will be there momentarily. Now, Tola, as I understand, your a good fighter, is that correct?"

"Well, yeah, I guess, I fight every now and then..."

"Great, I need you to go and search for Jak and Dexter, I assume you know them?"

"Yeah, I see them around every now and then. Where did they go?"

"Just down to the beach, think you can handle that?"

"Yes, sir, you can count on me!"

I turned and ran out of the hut then, laughing the whole way. As I passed Keira working on something I said, "Hey, Keira!"

"Hey Tola!" I heard as I continued on towards the beach.

I stopped at the fork in the path, the beach was to the left, the forest to my right.

"I wonder whats past the lava feild, I've always wanted to travel far from here." I turned my body towards the forest, where a bit of rock steps led up to the lava feild, there have only been rumors about it.

"Back on topic, I have to find Jak and Dexter, that is my mission." I put my fist in my palm, like I was playing Rock-Paper-Scissors. But I wasn't.

I ran down the left path, jumping down the ledge and onto the lush, soft sand.

"Jak! Daxter! Where are you guys!?" I called, walking past the gap in the two walls, where a nest stood.

I stopped to watch as a large egg fell from the sky, and softly onto the nest.

"How peculiar...." I muttered, walking closer.

When I got close, something landed on me, throwing me to the ground and pinning me there.

"Cant..... breathe...." I muttered out, and footsteps scurried across the sand.

"Jak!" I heard Daxter call out, "Your sitting on Tola!"

Instantly, Jak jumped off of my back and I gasped for air.

I got up, then turned towards the two of them, "The Green Sage was looking for you two, he seemed mad."

"Oh great, what does that old guy want now?!" Daxter exclaimed.

I looked at Jak, he just stood there, not saying anything, I raised an eyebrow.

"Thats right, I forgot, Jak. Your not a talker...."

"Dont worry, Ill watch after the egg for you while you go see what he wants." I put my thumb over my shoulder, "Just hurry back, I dont like egg-sitting."

The two ran off, and after they were out of ear shot I heard a crack behind me.

"So, decided to join me, have you?" I said, as the head of a bird popped out of the top.

"Nice to meet you," I said, patting its beak, "Names Tola."

I rubbed it down, trying to clean the goo off of it.

"There, now you should be able to walk better." I said, looking at it.

It leaned its head forward and rubbed its beak against my face, showing affection.

"Looks like someone made a friend." a high-pitched voice said behind me, making me jump.

"Very funny, Daxter. So, what did the Sage want?" I crossed my arms and faced him, the bird looking over my shoulder.

"He just wanted us to hand over the power thingies."

"Right. How many did you need?"

"We needed 20, but we only had 19. So we have to go search for another."

"Well, I have this, is this what your looking for?" I pulled a power cell out of my pocket, and held it out with both hands.

"Where'd you get that?!" Daxter exclaimed, leaning forward on Jaks shoulder.

"Found it on my way here, just layin' on the ground. Take it, I have no use for it." I walked forward and placed it in Jak's hands, then walked past them, the bird still following me, "See you later."
