Chapter 10

'Threatened by the Girl'

[FlashBack]

"enjoying yourself?"
said an oh-so familiar voice. You turned around to see..

[End Flashback]

Eliza Chang. Yes, HER.
"o-oh y-yes! your daughter has a very lovely room!" you stuttered out,
feeling your heart beat faster and faster by the second. "right...I helped
with the decorating...she prefered to have a simple room...but only the best for
my daughter" she said proudly as she stared you down. "why are you
here anyway?" she then asked you. You just stood there, frozen.
"w-well...I-I...fell as-" before you could say another word, a
house-elf walked inside wearing its ragged clothes. "what is it
Posey?" Eliza asked, the elf looked down then kneeled and said softly
"m-miss i-is g-gone!" it said as you raised an eyebrow. 'miss? is
there someone else here?' you thought questioningly, wondering who the elf was
talking about. "why did you let her escape from that room?!" Eliza
roared angrily as her cheeks flushed. "I'm sorry to cut this conversation
short, but I have some important things to do" she said as you nodded, she
then stomped off the room as the elf followed her.

"what was that all
about..." you thought for a moment. But you then just shrugged it off. You
thought that you would check out Mei's room some more so you walked
around...examining everything around you. After minutes of walking around the
huge, spacious room you sat on the bed. "where are they..." you said
to no one in particular. Suddenly, the door opened to reveal Mei with bloodshot
eyes and torn clothes. "Holy-" before you could say something else,
Mei pointed her wand at you and said 'silencio'. Therefore, you couldn't talk.
"keep quiet" she muttered under her breath, you tried mouthing some
words to her on why she's not with the others and why does she have those eyes.
"you wouldn't want to know, and if anyone found out about this, I'll make
sure you wont see anyone in your precious life again" she threatened you,
that was unexpected. How could she do THAT to you, of course, she's a
death-eater's child, why on earth did you even had thoughts of her being nice to
you. She was like Ria from the start. "I just don't want to make Blaise
worried" she continued as she walked over to her closet and took out some
clothes then headed for the bathroom. "just...don't mention anything to
them okay? they're at the garden, having tea" she said as she muttered a
counter-spell for the one earlier and closed the door. "wow.." you
said, you then walked out of the room and down the stairs and outside the
garden!

You saw Mei there, chatting with
Blaise. 'wha-?' you thought, a bit confused, she was at the bathroom...how could
she be out here?!

Draco then walked up to you,
"how are you?" he smirked as he curtsied(sp?).

"I feel...a
bit...confused" you tell him and continued to stare at Mei and Blaise.

"you wouldn't want to know,
and if anyone found out about this, I'll make sure you wont see anyone in your
precious life again"

Her voice echoed in your ear, it
was loud and clear, you looked up to see Mei standing inside the top window
staring at you with THOSE eyes...Draco turned to the direction but when you
blinked she was already gone..

"what are you looking
at?" he questioned, but you remained silent. You were scared of what Mei
might do to you...but at the same time, you felt sorry for her, still wondering
what her parents did to her in that room.

"Draco, have you gone on
those discussions before?" you ask at him curiously. "no" came
his reply then her raised an eyebrow. "why do you ask?" he said
firmly. "oh nothing, just curious that's all" you replied
thoughtfully, you look up again but she wasn't there anymore.

~Precious Moments...lol~

Both of you were discussing your
lives while sitting at a bench near the small waterfalls.

"----, is there something
bothering you?" he asked as he placed a hand on your shoulder.

"what? no! uh...why would
you even think that?" you stuttered as he just frowned.

"don't lie to me" he
said firmly as his icy blue eyes bore into yours...

You looked away and sighed.
"I'm not lying.." you retorted as he cupped your chin and brought your
face to meet up with his.

"okay then, look straight
into my eyes and tell me that you're not lying" Draco said softly, you
stared at him and bit your lower lip. "I...I.." you stammered.

"what is it? you're hiding
something from me...aren't you?" he continued as you just remained staring
at his eyes...completely lost in the icy blue depths...

"promise you wont tell
anyone?" you tell him as he just nodded in reply.

You took a deep breath and
started talking. "I saw Mei, she's upstairs at her room, when she walked
in, she looked like she's been crying and her clothes were somewhat torn...she
told me not to tell anyone or I'll never see anyone in my life again.." you
explained, you could see Draco's eyes become dark, he was furious.

"she threatened you?"
he asked as you nodded softly, you didn't want anything to happen so you quickly
grabbed Draco's hands. "just...please dont tell anyone ok? because...she
also told me she didn't want Blaise to worry about her...I mean, just look at
Blaise...and...that girl.." you say pointing at the happy couple laughing
together. "but...if Mei's upstairs, who's that?" Draco asked to you as
you just shrugged.

Suddenly a voice replied and
answered his question.

"that's a clone"

it said icily, the voice sent
shivers down your spine and you both snapped your heads around only to be
face-to-face with..

ME!!! lol!!!! lmao~ XD

okay *breath* I've been laughing
so hard. I'm wondering what your expressions are right at THIS exact moment, you
must be cursing me under your breath now, correct? lol haha okay, that was
bloody evil. okay...I'm just kidding you people, hell, I know you all hate me
for putting up nasty cliff-hangers so...I wont be leaving you hanging...for now.
I just wanted to surprise you lol XD It's not really the end yet. Geez...my
chapters are getting shorter and shorter aren't they? Okay, I'm going to make
this one TEENY WEE BIT loooooonnnggggeeerrrr.

Kim.

"Kim!?" you shriek in
shock, with an expression that only you can imagine. Draco remained silent but
you could see the horror in his face. "I already know about Mei, don't
worry about it" she told you and you sighed in relief. 'thank Merlin...'
you thought.

"a clone?" Draco asked, keeping his cool.

Kim nodded her head and snorted.
"yes, a clone, you know, since Polyjuice potions take months before you use
it they decided to make a clone, so they wont have to suffer drinking some of
Mei's...excess" she finished.

"But...in Mei's condition
now, will they accept her relationship with Blaise?" you ask curiously with
worried eyes. Kim frowned at this. "sure they will, as long as Mei keeps
her promise" she told you and both of you just remained quiet and listened
to Kim.

"It's a secret, even I
don't know about it...only the Chang Family knows about it I guess.." she
said as you both groaned, thinking that Kim probably knew something about this
"promise".

"all I know about it
is...that...it's got something to do with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named" Kim
explained as she pointed her index finger at her chin.

"with the Dark
Lord..?" you ask, she just remained there like that.

"yeah...that's probably the
reason why her parents work in the Department of Mysteries" she added
simply.

Suddenly a little house-elf
arrived and told everyone it was dinner time.

Blaise and the Clone walked
inside first and Kim followed, you and Draco remained sitting there for a moment
of silence.

"we better get inside"
you say, a bit nervous because of the awkward silence between you two.

Draco sat there, deep in
thought.

"Draco...are you in
there?" you asked as you shook him. "oh-right! Dinner!" he said
triumphantly.

You stared at him, he looked
like as if he just won on the lottery or something.

"are you all right?"
you asked him, with a raised eyebrow. "of course I am!" he replied to
you and you just shrugged.

"okaaaaayy..."

Both of you walked back inside
the house, hand-in-hand and continued to the dining room. Food was already
served, LOTS of it actually.

'geez...how many are we in this
house?' you asked yourself as you stared in awe at the food served at the dinner
table. Assorted types of food were laid on the table as you sat down beside
Draco and stared down at the china. 'bloody hell..' you thought, your eyes were
wide in shock then you looked around. Mei's parents were there sitting beside
each other on the long rectangular table across from you, Kim was sitting beside
Draco, Blaise was sitting beside Mrs. Chang, and beside him was...Mei.

Not the clone.

Yes, the girl. Staring at you
with those cold eyes.

'she knows' you gulped down your
throat as you then quickly turned your attention to the food right infront of
you.
