Warriors of Darkness 4

You woke up early and quickly got dressed into your school clothes. You walked out of your room and began to make breakfast for you and your parents. It was the least you could do after you had dodging out on dinner with them. You finished making breakfast just as your mother came down the stairs.
"Well, good morning, Suichi." She smiled at you.
"Good morning, mother." You returned the smile and motioned for her to sit down since you had already made her plate. As you set down her plate you gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. "I love you, mother."
"Where are you going so early Suichi?" Your mother asked.
You smiled mysteriously. "I'm going to go walk a friend to school." With that you left the house intent on reaching ________'s apartment as soon as possible.

Oh, he called me a friend *blushes*
*giggles* I'd like to be more than friends.
*snorts* Like I'd be his friend.
Hiei shook his head and hned. "Shut up fools." He growled.
You shot him a thankful glance as Kuwabara and Yusuke got quiet.
"Lord Koenma will see you all now." George said walking out of Koenma's office. As he came out you noticed his blue skin looking extremely pale and you felt a slight tinge of worry, but did not let is show on your face.
"Hey! Pacifier breath!" Yusuke yelled, "Why'd ya want to see us?"
Koenma said nothing at first and looked at Yusuke seriously. "This is no time, Yusuke. We have a very dangerous problem on our hands."
You exchanged a glance at Hiei. Neither of you had seen Koenma this serious since the Sensui incident.
Yusuke must have realized this as well. "What's wrong, Koenma? You look like someone just ran over your dog."
"Much worse, Yusuke. A high B level demon snuck into the human world four days ago, and during that time sixteen spiritually aware women have been murdered."

Ooo! Why didn't kurama defend my honor?!
Hey, I like the midget in the dress.
"Oh, Suichi!!" You winced as a particularly whiny, female voice called your name. You kept walking, though speeded up your pace. "Suichi! Suichi, wait up!" You flinched and turned around knowing you couldn't avoid the girl who was following you. You soon recognized her as the ones who had been rude to ________ and called herself your boyfriend.
"Yes?" You asked as warmly as possible.
"Why are you walking alone? You can walk with me you know." She grinned coquettishly.
^I wouldn't walk with you if you were the last living thing on Earth.^ You thought. "I'm sorry, I have to go somewhere else, and it's a very long walk."
"Oh, really Suichi, don't worry about it. I'll be more than happy to walk with you." She said edging closer to you.
"No, I'm fine trust me." You said, turning away from her.
"No, I'll go with you," She insisted as she grabbed your arm.
You growled and jerked your arm away from her. "Good bye." Then you began to run away as fast as you could.
"Suichi! Come back!"
You ignored her and continued to run.


You finally stopped and looked at the time. It was almost time to meet ________. You silently cursed; you still had five blocks to go to get to her apartment. Then began to run again.

I really don't like that girl. Always hanging onto Kurama.
*grabs a knife* KURAMA IS MINE!!!!
She can have him if she wants him.

You walked into ______'s hallway and immediately felt a strange feeling of worry. You ran to ______'s apartment door and smelt the scent of a demon.
"_________!" You called and went to open the door to find it unlocked. You ran into _____'s apartment and smelt the demons scent in the opening room and immediately knew that _______ wasn't there. Then you remembered what Koenma had said about the demon that had entered the human world. ^It feeds on spiritually aware women...^ You quickly created a portal to spirit world and jumped in, you had to find Koenma and find ______ before she met the same fate as the other women.
Kurama is coming to save me! ^_^
Ooo! Kurama will save me like in a fairy tale and we'll live happily ever after!
I'm going to get out of this myself!
You gazed at the doors to Koenma's office, your eyes closed as you listened to Kuwabara and Yusuke's questions and mindless chattering.
"So did you get any action Kurama?" Kuwabara asked eagerly.
"Come on idiot! He had to. She obviously digged him, and why else would he be so embarrassed to talk about it?" Yusuke grinned wolfishly.
You twitched, your cheeks red and crossed your arms, trying your best to ignore them.

Those perverts!
*sighs* I wish...We could've played all types of 'games.' ^_~

(recap) Last time Suichi walked you home from Kuwabara's house, where he took you after the attack, and you two talked for a little while before he had to leave with Botan, and he promised to walk with you to school tomorrow. But when you went to answer the door the next morning and a strange person was outside your door and knocked you out saying you wouldn't be seeing Suichi again.
(Kurama's POV) You smiled as you left _______'s apartment. "What does Koenma need, Botan?" You asked the grim reaper.
"Apparently a high level demon has entered the human world, but I can't tell you much more than that." Botan said as she shrugged.
Your eyes narrowed. What was a high level demon doing in human world? You could've sworn the kekkai barrier was sealed up. "Let's get going then." You said as Botan opened the gate to spirit world.

A demon? Where? *darts off like a scared rabbit.) (TBP -_-')

*smirks* Little girly boy is afraid of a demon! (Kurama: *turns into Yoko*) Uh, I mean....JUST GET ON WITH THE QUIZ!!

"And you believe this demon to be the cause of it?" You asked. Koenma shook his head.
"We know this demon is the cause of it."
"How?" Kuwabara asked.
"This particular type of demon feeds on a human's heart and soul. When their bodies were found all of the women were found missing their hearts and their souls are nowhere to be found." Kuwabara shivered and Yusuke narrowed his eyes.
"Do you know its whereabouts, Koenma?" You asked quietly. Koenma shook his head and you silently cursed, then turned around.
"Well that certainly doesn't do us any good." Hiei growled.
Koenma sighed. "I just want you all to keep a look out just in case." You saw the others nod.
"Don't worry binky breath, we'll make sure to keep as eye out," Yusuke said as he walked out of the room. Kuwabara soon followed, then Hiei.
"Koenma, do you have any idea if these women have anything in common besides being spiritually aware?" Koenma said nothing and looked as if he was thinking very hard. You waited quietly.
Finally Koenma shook his head. "I'm sorry, Kurama." You said nothing and walked out of the office.

Greaaat...
Oh! Kurama! Protect me! *jumps into his arms* (Kurama: *drops you*)
Hmph, I could kick its stupid demon butt.
You ate dinner with your mother and stepfather quietly, deep in thought about the rash of murders.
"Suichi?" You looked up at your human mother.
"Yes?" You asked.
"Are you alright?" Both your mother and stepfather looked at you worriedly. "You haven't eaten much."
"I'm sorry, I'm just not that hungry." You smiled apologetically and got up from the table and went to your room.
You locked the door once you got in and collapsed on you bed. You couldnt shake the feeling of uneasiness that had settled upon you. ^Why am I so worried?^ You asked yourself as you put your hands behind your head and stared at the ceiling then out your window. As you looked out of the plated glass you caught sight of the crescent moon and immediately remembered ________'s painting.
^______...^ You thought. ^She seems so familiar...and the figure in the painting looked exactly like my demon form...^ You sighed and finally went to sleep, planning on asking her more about the painting tomorrow morning.

But I won't be there...
Oh he's so sweet. I wonder what type of cake his mother will want for the wedding. (TBP o_O Wedding?)
