~Digital Love~[New Ver.]~[SSBM]~Chapter 3- Strange New Places and Faces. Where the Hell Am I?

Dreams took over Hikari's mind as she traveled through this strange tunnel into who knows where;of her friends back at home,the aunt who loved her very much,the parents she missed,everything rushed through her head. There was also a recalling of the previous dream she had,of the crying fighters and the mysterious man that made her feel at peace. All of this dissapeared in a blink as a bright light went over her as she went through the other side of this trail.

Slowly,her eyes opened to blue skies and sunlight,only a few clouds floating in the sky. At first,she thought what she had experienced was all a dream and got up. But as she looked around,she saw that her house wasn't there; she wasn't even in the same place! Even her appearance was different!

Her hair was darkened and so were her eyes,and the clothes she bared now weren't her own not to mention she didn't remember having a scythe at anytime before.

"Wh-wha?! What is all of this?! Where am I?!"

Hikari frantically looked around,wondering if anyone was nearby. It was a grassy area,very pretty and natural,with a few ruins around. She walked off into a random direction,hoping that she'd find somone to help her.

Meanwhile,someone was preparing for a great battle. A sword was sheathed at his left side as the top of his navy cloak draped over a chest plate. With gold adorning his head in the shape of a band,the man headed out. That is,until,someone else in full body armor stopped him.

"Your fight's been postponed,Prince-y. We have a situation!" a female voice told him from under the helmet.

"What kind of situation?"

"...They've summoned another fighter."

"What? I thought they were done!"

"Nope. I guess someone REALLY pissed off the Hands."

"What do we do now?"

"You can say here if you want. I'm gonna try to find this newbie before he or she gets their ass kicked."

The armored woman ran off,leaving the just prepared fighter where he stood.

The one hour seemed like 5 as Hikari searched through this new land. She finally stumbled upon a large castle sitting on an even larger hill.

"Hey,maybe someone in there can help me!"

She ran up to the door and knocked. The door creaked open so she took that as an excuse to go in. It was nice inside the place. Large with red carpets leading to different rooms and checkered tile floors that covered the place. Each door had a star on it and fancy paintings inside along with furniture. One thing that was very prominant was the theme of mushrooms.

"Oh,now I know what this is! It's Princess Peach's Castle! Weird seeing it from the inside like this; much different than in Super Mario 64. I'm so used to fighting on it,not going in it. Wait...PRINCESS PEACH'S CASTLE?!"

She explored the place to see if there were any 'Toads' or even the Princess herself,but none to be found. Hikari really couldn't believe where she was and she couldn't seem to take in this fact as she wandered aimlessly. Suddenly,something ran into the back of her legs,making her fall over. Face first she went into the red carpeting of the place while dropping the weapon she had with her. When she went to look back at the culprit,she met with 2 blackish-brown eyes...2 extremely cute blackish-brown eyes attached to an even cuter yellow mouse with red cheeks.

"Piii-ka?"

She blinked a few times. ". . . Pikachu?"

"Pika-chuuu~!"

"Aww~ Maybe you can help me out? I'm completely lost..."

The small Pokemon motioned Hikari to follow it and ran off into the castle's halls. She attempted to follow the creature the best she could. At one point,Pikachu stopped in front of a small room with nothing more than a chair and a sofa. Hikari caught up and went inside,but was somewhat confused at why Pikachu stopped at this one place. She sat down,Pikachu sitting in her lap.

"Why did you bring me here?"

"Pika!" The Pokemon couldn't exactly talk,so it made gestures that looked like that of showing a crown and dress.

"Princess Peach?"

"Pi-kaaa~!" Next,it pointed to the direction of the front and then pointed to their location.

"I.....Is she coming here?" She watched as Pikachu nodded it's head. "Oh good,maybe she can help me understand what's going on. You were such a good help,Pikachu~" Hikari pet the little mouse,scratching under it's chin and making it purr lightly.

Soon enough,the sounds of scurrying feet passed her ears as the mushroom-headed Toads ran out in the halls to prepare for their Princess who just arrived. The creak of the large doors rang through as the clacking of high heels sounded. The sound got louder and louder until a flash of pink came by the door.

"Hello~? Pikachu~? You called for me,right?"

"PIKA~!" the yellow mouse Pokemon jumped into her arms,pointing inside the room where Hikari sat.

"Oh! This is why you sounded so urgent! Excuse me,miss,but are you the fighter who just arrived?"

Hikari looked amazed. THE Princess Peach was there in the flesh. "I-I guess so since I have this scythe and all,your highness..."

"Thank goodness~! We were all so worried that you were going to get hurt out there on your own! Come,come; we have much to disscuss!"

With that,Peach dragged Hikari out of the castle and onto a royal-looking Yoshi. A slight tug on the reins and it ran off the opposite direction of the castle.

"W-Wait...don't you live there,Princess?"

"Not exactly,at least not for the moment. You see,my castle was taken from the Mushroom Kingdom and all the way here. I get to stay in it now and then,but for now I must stay away. You would think people would be worried that the princess and her castle is missing and that Bowser would be taking the opporitunity to take over. It's not exactly easy for him when he's here as well."

"So you were taken from your home?"

"Quite. And even Mario can't save me this time,as he and Luigi are here too. I would tell you more,but it would take quite a while to explain it all so I guess you'll have to find out on your own time. I get the feeling that you won't have that much free time once you're at the mansion."

"Mansion?"

"Yes,it's up ahead. I stay with many others there and you'll be living there as well."

". . .I really am far from home. . ."

"Judging from your clothes,I think so as well. You don't look that familiar though...you're not from any of our worlds,are you?"

"N-No...I don't think so,your highness..."

"Please,call me Peach~ You must come from the place where we're used then...but why would the Master Hand want one of you to come here?"

"I'm not sure."

"Well,welcome to the Smash World,even if it isn't the best of places or the greatest welcome in the world. What's your name?"

"It's Hikari."

"Nice to meet you~ I'm sure we'll get along fine!"
