You took a deep breath as you entered platform 9 3/4. Just seeing the train again brought back so many memories. You can still remember the day you saw it for the last time, until now...
You were 13. It was a sad day. You had to leave the place you had called home for 2 years. You also had to leave your friends, and your then boyfriend - Draco Malfoy.
But that didn't matter now. You were just glad to be back. You were excited about seeing your friends again... if they still remembered you. Though it had only been a year and a half, you had changed a lot.
You were suddenly shaken from your memories as someone ran into you. You almost lost your balance, but caught yourself just in time.
"Sorry," you heard the voice of a girl say.
"It's ok-" you started to say, but before you got the sentance out, you recognized who the girl was.
"Amy?!" you practically screamed. Amy was one of your best friends before you left Hogwarts.
"_____?!" she said just as excited. You both had an overly girly reunion, before walking towards the train.
...
"I can't believe it's you! You look so different!" she told you. You smiled.
"And you look so..." you stopped for a second... "the same," you finally finished. Both of you laughed.
From there, you just conversed about how your lives had been since you left. You found out she had a boyfriend named Rickie... while you were still single. But after you told her you were single, she brought up somebody you had totally forgotten about... at least at that moment you had.
"Remember Draco Malfoy?" she asked you. You were surprised at the mention of his name, but you calmly nodded your head.
"Well, he's been asking about you. I kept telling him that I haven't heard from you since you left, but he still didn't give up," she continued. "I think he's really missed you."
You heard her, but you didn't reply. You were too busy looking at an all-too-familar blonde guy who you could've recognized anywhere. It was him... the same guy Amy was now telling you about... the same guy you had thought about for the last year and a half... Draco Malfoy.
...
'Wow, he's changed,' you thought. Amy obviously noticed you weren't paying attention, because you suddenly saw a hand waving in front of your face, and you heard her saying: "Earth to _____!"
"Oh, sorry," you said.
She sighed. "It's okay. So, what were you looking at, anyway?" she asked. You pointed towards Draco.
"Oh," she said, slightly smirking. "Going to talk to him?"
You shrugged. "I don't see a point. He probably won't remember me."
"Have you not heard one thing I said earlier?" she asked, obviously annoyed.
"Uh, I heard most of it," you said, tring to stifle your giggles from the look on her face. She shook her head, then did something totally unexpected... she pushed you towards Draco.
"You at least have to say "Hi" to him," she said...
...
You tried to stop her, but every move you made didn't make a difference. You knew you had to talk to him at some point, but apparantly, she wanted it to be now.
You finally gave up your struggle, since you basically face to face with him now. He looked at you like you were from another planet, but you saw no sign of him recognizing you.
"Um, hi Draco," you said, not sure of what else.
"Who are you?" was all he said.
"You can't tell?" you said, A sudden sinking feeling in your chest. He shook his head, still looking at you like you were crazy.
"_____ _____. I can't believe you don't remember me, we went out in our 3rd year," you said, trying hard to hold back your anger.
"I didn't date anyone in my third year," he said, then, along with Crabbe, Goyle, and another guy you didn't know, walked away.
"UGH!" you said, stomping off towards the train.
...
"I said I was sorry, ____! How was I suppose to know he'd act like that?!" Amy kept telling you.
You finally stopped her after the 4th apology. "It's okay, I don't blame you. He's just being... him. I just don't know why you forced me to talk to him," you told her, finally finding a compartmemt.
About a half hour later, Amy wanted to get changed into her school robes, but you decided to wait a while.
As you were looking out the window, you heard the compartment door open. "That was fast," you said, thinking it was Amy. But when you looked at the person, it wasn't Amy... it was Draco.
"Oh, it's just you," you said, "go away."
"Well, it's nice to know you still love me," he replied sarcasticly.
"Thought you didn't remember me," you said, still not looking at him.
"Of course I remember you... that was just my cover. Couldn't look like I was going soft, could I?" he said
"Well, isn't that just great. Perfect Draco Malfoy doesn't want his precious pride ruined. Again, go away."
But of course, he didn't listen. So, you turned to glare at him, hoping he'd get the picture that you didn't want him there, but you never got the chance to glare, because as soon as you turned your head, you felt warm lips collide with yours. The kiss only lasted 10 seconds, but it brought back so much.
When Draco pulled away, he was, of course, smirking. The kiss was good, but you were confused, and Draco saw this. "For old time's sake," was all he said, before leaving the compartment...
...
Well, that's it for chapter 1. I'm not going to be one of those people who keep nagging you to rate/message, but I'll say it this time. At least rate... or this story will be no more. No point in writing it when no one wants to take the time to at least do that. Anywho, thanx for reading!
