You got out of the way as soon as people started to come out of their compartments, and head for the exit. You followed Amy, and from the corner of your eye, you saw Draco, smirking at you. You laughed to yourself.
"What's so funny?" Amy asked, looking at you as if you were from another planet.
"Nothing," you replied.
"Uh, huh," she said, knowing you were lying. "So, you planning on getting back with Malfoy?" she asked, changing the subject.
You shrugged. "Dunno. He's changed. There's something about him that I don't trust," you told her.
"Like...?" she asked.
"I don't know, it's hard to explain. It's just, when we were back in there-"
"Snogging?" Amy finished for you.
You rolled your eyes. "Yeah. Anyway, when I looked at him, I got the feeling he just wanted to shag me, then dump me," you told her.
"Well, maybe you're just paranoid," she replied.
"Yeah, maybe," you said, though you weren't sure...
Finally, after about 10 minutes, you and Amy made it to the exit. Once you were out of the train, you looked around. Everything looked the same as it did the day you left.
You saw the first years follow Hagrid towards the boats, and you followed Amy towards the carriges. Once there, you sat with her, and two other girls you didn't know, at least, you thought you didn't know them.
"Hey guys, remember _____?" Amy asked the girls. They looked at you for a few seconds, before saying something.
"_____?!" both girls said in unison.
"Uh, yeah...." you said, still not recognizing them.
"_____, it's Courtney and Jessica," Amy told you. You thought for a second, then remembered.
"Oh, Jessica, Courtney, I didn't even recognize you guys," you said, hugging them. There was, again, another overly girly reunion.
"So, how have you guys been?" you asked them after your little reunion was over.
"Not much really," they replied. After that, you, Amy, Courntney, and Jessica just caught up with eachother's lives. You did this until the carriges stopped, and you were in front of a large castle.
...
Once inside, you sat down at the Slytherin table, and waited for Dumbledore to start his speech. You noticed a bunch of people staring at you, but you ignored them.
Finally, after you started getting annoyed, Dumbledore stepped up to his stand thingy, and started to talk.
"Welcome, new students and old, to another year at Hogwarts..."
You ignored everything he said, up until he mentioned you:
"I would like you all to welcome back ______ ______. She has returned from the states to start her 5th year."
After that, the speech was over, and the food appeared. After you had eaten, you went back to the Slytherin common room. On your way there, you had a lot of Slytherin students come up and welcome you back. (Me: Yes, Slytherins can be nice as long as it's to someone in there own house.)
On your way up to the girl dorms (Amy, Jessia, and Courtney had already gone up), you were stopped by Draco.
"You know, I have my own room," he said seductivly, while kissing your neck slightly. You pushed him away. You didn't like how forward he had been since you saw him.
"I think I'll pass," you said.
"Suite yourself," he said, walking back up to the boy dorms. You had a slight uneasy feeling.
'What's he up to?' you couldn't help but think, before heading up to you own dorm.
...
Let me make one thing straight... this WILL NOT be one of those annoying goody-goody, lovey-dovey stories where you're all like "I love you," and Draco's always saying "You're so beautiful." Those kind of stories are cool, but they're not my style. Anyway, rate, message... whatever.
