Ouran High School Host Club Hikaru One Shot For MikaYukiko

This is my first one shot ever, so the character might be a little out of character. But I hope you still like it ^.^
Please tell me what you think about it, that would mean alot to me :3
Also, english is not my first laguage, so there might be some grammer issues here. If you find one, please tell me, then I'll change it.

“” Irrashaimase”

That was one of the word I had to say every day, not that I have a choice. It’s just that damn clumsiness of mine that brought me here. I just had to trip and brake that vase, which was more worth than I dare to say out loud. And now I’m trapped here, not that I dislike it! I mean, who wouldn’t be happy when they get to spend some after school with their crush every day.
But then again, there are some people in this club that drive me crazy.

“Mika-Hime~!!!” I heard some boys scream. I looked their way and smiled
“I’ll be there in a minute” I said to them smiling while they just swooned by the fact that I talked to them.

You see, my name is Mika Holt, I’m 16 years old and I’m in the Host club at Ouran High School. I got into Ouran through a scholarship, I’m not rich or anything. I wish I was though. When I started here I didn’t think I would end up like this. I was just delivering some papers to the 3rd music room and before I even knew it I had broken a vase. There was no way I could pay them back, so working for it was the only think I could do. But to think that I ever worked in a host club, no way I’m putting this on my CV.

“I’m sorry to keep you waiting boy” I say smiling sweetly as I came back to my table with tea and gave all 5 of them a cup.
“No problem Mika-Sama, I’d wait forever for you” “I really missed you when you were gone” and “I love the way you make our tea” were some of the responses I got.
‘Gosh these boys are so easy to play with’
“Ah~ thank you, but actually I don’t make our tea. Haruhi-Kun does, but you’re right, He does make our tea amazing. I don’t think I ever can make tea as good as he doen” I said to them sadly
“Don’t say that Mika-Sama, I bet your tea would taste even better!” they all said in sync
‘Man do they all practice these lines or something’
“No seriously, I’m a real bad cook” I said laughing. I glanced at our self-proclaimed king, he was about to take a sip of his tea “Look at Tamaki-Senpai” I said to them “and see how deathly my tea is”

They all turned around and a second later there was a horrible scream heard, from which I day to say people could hear it in the end of our school.
“What is this horrible taste in my mouth” Tamaki cried while going in his emo corner with his bear with a lost look in his eyes “I thought I was gonna die” he cried some more. And before you even saw them move, he was circled by his fan girls screaming how “they never would let them die” and would “gladly nurse him better” ‘Kill me now’

I snickered at the sight of him. They don’t call me the naughty type for nothing, I like to pull pranks occasionally. But not that hard as the twins do.
“You see now?” I asked the boys while laughing hard now. But just as I was about to say something I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and saw Kyoya looking down on me, smiling his creepy smile.
My laughter stopped at that. “Holt-san, I prefer you not do something like that anymore” he said to me “and also” he said while walking away “you need to pay for the cup he broke”
“WHAT?!!” I screamed at him, with a look of disbelieve “Who even said I did that anyway?!!”
“Only you make tea THAT bad” he said without turning around, but he didn’t have do so cause I could feel the smirk dripping of his words.

“No way~” I said with a pout.
“You should have know that-”
“-it’d be so obviously that you did that” I heard two voices say behind me. I looked behind me and blushed. There were the Hitachiin twins, Hikaru and Kaoru. They put each one arm around me and smirked.
“Everyone here knows-“ Hikaru started
“-that you make the most poisonous tea ever” Kaoru ended
“Ahh come on” I said to them “it’s not THAT bad”
“You see Tamaki?” Hikaru said
I looked to where Tamaki was sulking in his corner, he didn’t look anymore different to me
“you got him really down with your tea” Kaoru ended laughing
“you are really awesome” Hikaru said while laughing, just a little but louder than Kaoru.
“ok fine I admit it was me, but still. If I had known he was going to break that cup, I wouldn’t have done it” I said to them “you know how expansive that thing was?”
“Aww” Hikaru said while giving me a hug, which made me even blush more. You see, I have a really big crush on him. And I knew he liked me too, it was so obvious...
Ok Kaoru told me, but after I knew it all started to look more clear.
“You know what will cheer you up?” Kaoru said while winking at me. ‘Oh not again’
“Let’s play the ‘Which one is Hikaru’ game!” suddenly a lot of fan girls screamed from behind me, which resulted me by almost falling of my chair. ‘When did they get here?’ I looked a little freaked out, which was probably very clear since the twins started laughing again. “Yes, So Mika-Chan” they said while they were turning around and putting their hats on.
“Which one is Hikaru?” they asked when they were done.
I sighed, this was so easy. They always dragged me into playing this game and I was always right. But that wasn’t so hard, because I always turned red whenever I looked at Hikaru, he looked at me with a look in his eyes I couldn't place. “Left is Kaoru, Right is Hikaru” I said smirking while they looked at me with disbelieve, Hikaru looked a little relieved though. “I’ve never been wrong, you don’t have to look so surprising” I said winking, mainly at Hikaru. I turned around back to my costumers ‘Let’s hope this day goes by fast’

Before I knew it, the Host Club was closed.
“Haaah~” I said sighing while falling on the couch “I’m so tired, I got like 30 costumers today”
“Don’t be so down Mi-Chan~!” Honey screamed with a teary face while jumping on me, hugging my waist. “Maybe some cake will cheer you up?” He said as he smiled at me. I could feel eyes burning from behind me, but decided to let it slip. “Yes Mika-Hime!” Tamaki said who suddenly appeared from behind the couch “Have some of this delicious cake and you’ll be happy in no time”
“are you sure you didn’t poison it?” I asked him when suddenly he made a dramatic pose “How could you think of me like that?!” Tamaki said crying “As proof I’ll taste the cake myself” Suddenly he started smirking ‘Oh no. this means no good’ I thought “and if you’d like, I’ll let you taste it from my mouth” he said while grabbing my face while coming closer, our lips almost touching. I was about to hit him when suddenly something unexpected happened. Hikaru appeared behind me an hit Tamaki hard in his face. To be honest, it was kind of funny, Tamaki flew all the way to the other side of the room. I looked to Hikaru, who was now blushing madly with anger. He was about to give Tamaki some more hits when Mori held him down “Let me go Mori-Senpai!” Hikaru said screaming “Let me teach a lesson him so he’ll never touch my girl ever again like that!”

All I could do is sit and watch. I’ve never seen Hikaru act like this. Suddenly it clicked in my head “Did he just say ‘MY girl’?” I said softly shocked, not particularly asking anyone ‘I knew he was blunt, but him confessing like this was completely unexpected’
Everyone looked at me, ‘I guess it wasn’t that soft as I thought’
Hikaru looked at me, blushing like mad. I was about to say something when he suddenly ran out of the 3rd music room. Leaving everyone, including me, looking at the door he just stormed out.

“Well?” Haruhi asked looking at me. “’Well’ what?” I asked her back
“Aren’t going to chase him?” Tamaki said smiling
“Why are you smiling? He just hit you, and by that upcoming bruise I see it was pretty hard” I said back to him.
“To tell the truth Mi-Chan it was part of our plan” Honey said smiling wide
“Plan? What plan?”
“To get you and Hika-Chan together” He said back while jumping on Mori’s back.
“what? Why would you guys do something like that?” I asked to them
“because you’re too stubborn to do it properly yourself” Kyouya said
“Wait… You’re in it too?” I asked him shocked ‘Wow, not expected him to do something like that. I thought he only thought about money’
“Yes, did you think these idiot could come up with a proper plan himself?” he said while pointing at Tamaki “ He came running to me right away”
“but why did you cooperate?” “Mainly because every time the twins were supposed to enjoy their customers, Hikaru spent most of the time staring at you which let me into missing incomings from the fans because they didn’t get the attention they wanted” he said stone faced
‘I knew it was something like this’
“But then again,” He added
“what?”
“It was really annoying to see you guys circle around each other while it was so obvious”
“True” Kaoru added smirking
“what?” I asked, one eyebrow raised
“Yeah, I got tired of it too” Haruhi said sighing
“Yes” Mori added softly
“Even Mori knew?!” I said “Was it so obvious?” I added softly
“Yes” they all said “But enough talking” Kaoru said while picking my up and walked towards the door “you better go find my brother before he does something stupid again” Kaoru said while throwing me out of the room and closed the door “Good luck!” was the last thing he said before he left me all alone in the empty hall.

I sat the for a minute and stood up walking in a random direction. ‘What do I do now?’ I though while sighing ‘I don’t even know which way he went’ I walked for what seemed about an half hour, which actually was like 5 minutes. I opened all classrooms, every closet, looked in the library, although I was sure he wasn’t there. I was determined to find him, it was now or never. Besides, if I didn’t go today I don’t think I’d be able to even look at him tomorrow.

‘I looked everywhere in this school, damn Hikaru where are you?’ I was about to go back to the 3rd music room when I saw him walk around the corner. He looked at me, blinked a few times and then ran away. “No way I’m letting you escape Hikaru! Do you know how long I’ve been searching for you?!” I screamed at him while running after him. But sadly, I don’t have much stamina. After running for a few minutes I just couldn’t go any further and collapsed on the floor, panting.

I closed my eyes, trying to catch my breath when I felt a hand on my back. “I’m sorry to make you run like that” I heard a voice say, I could recognize this one out of thousands. “I shouldn’t have run away from you. That was really childish” Hikaru said. I looked at him and saw he looked really sad. ‘It’s now or never’ I thought to myself. I reached up and kissed him. I felt he was very shocked, but kissed me back right away. It was the best kiss ever, it wasn’t too sweet and not too aggressive. After we parted Hikaru pulled me in a hug. “I love you” he whispered in my ear. It send shivers down my spine. “I know” I said smirking. He pulled away “How?” he said shocked “I was sure I did a fine job hiding”
“Kaoru told me” I said bluntly while laughing “What?! I’m so going to kill him later, or no better, prank him with the worst prank ever” Hikaru said smirking his signature smirk. I started laughing “Well if you’re going to prank him, you better do the whole host club too” I said to him while putting my arms around his torso and putting my head on his shoulders. “Why?” He said. I started laughing “They made this whole plan up apparently” I said laughing “Everything, including the Tamaki part” I looked up at him and saw him blushing and looking away muttering something around the lines or ‘when I get back I’ll make sure to make them pay’ I laughed “You know I could’ve handled him right?”
“Yes, but I just don’t like it when someone touches you” He said. I looked away and blushed “Did you mean it?” I asked him. “Mean what?” he asked confused “That I’m your girl” I said softly. He started laughing, which got me to blush some more “Of course I do” he said. He made me look at him and smiled “I love you” he said while leaning closer “I love you too” I said before he kissed me again.

Hikaru and I got back to the music room, but as soon we walked in side he was pushed to the wall bij Tamaki. "HIKARU! LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO THIS BEAUTIFUL FACE" Tamaki screamed/cried at him while pointing to a bruise on his face "YOU RUINED MY PERFECT SKIN!" "There was nothing perfect about it to begin with" Haruhi said casually who was walking by with a tray of tea. Everyone startedsnickering at that, excludingKyoya and Mori who were as stoned faced as ever,and Tamaki went in his emo corner and mumbled something about how his 'precious' daughter said mean things to him. 'I guess I don't mind working here at all' I thought while hugging Hikaru.
