Love Is A Lie (Hiei\YYH Quiz)- Showdown in the Grove

Your name is Ayame Akino. You are a kitsune seraph youkai. You have long silver white hair, blood red eyes, white fow ears and tail, and small black and red tipped wings. You are an inch shorter than Hiei (minus the hair). You are also 400 years old, but you look about 16. You wield two short swords, throwing daggers, and your trusty wand DarkLight. You attend a Nigenkai ninjitsu school. You are never seen without your grey cloak on, which is the ony way you disguise your true heritage. You are a cold-hearted and unsocial person due to your "troubled" past, but we'll learn more about that later on. So, what do you think?

Eww...I'm so...eww. White hair? Isn't that for old people? I suck... (ME: GO AWAY YOU WHORE GUIDE BARBIE!!!!*whips out short swords*)

You aimlessly walk down the hallways of the ninjitsu school towards the Training Dojo on the East Wing of the complex. Around you people stare at you awkwardly, purposely avoiding eye contact with you. You stare straight forward, yet all the while eavsdropping into their thoughts. [What a freak!] they all think in unison. You growl slightly and begin to walk faster towards the dojo. No one at the school understood you. You never tried to make friends and purposely avoided everyone. You didn't have any friends at all, save for Keiri Hygoe. You quietly made your way towards your next lesson when all of a sudden your only friend Keiri comes up to you crying. She flings herself onto you, catching you by surprise. You hug her slightly, more annoyed than concerned. [God, how long is this going to take?] you think angrily. After a few minutes Keiri starts to talk into your shoulder through sobs and tears. "I can't believe him!" she sobs, "He cheated on me! Damn Eichi!" Kieri then again breaks donw into a fit of crying. You growl, annoyed, and push Keiri away from you. You grab her shoulders and shake her violently. "Get ahold of yourself!" you scream at her, "It's just a guy!" Keiri stares at you shock and then turns on you in anger. "What would you know?" she yells, "You've never been with anyone! You've never felt love, you cold-hearted bitch!" People soon began to swarm around the both of you, urging and chanting for a fight. You face Keiri angrily and glare at her in hatred. "Love is a lie," you say before walking throught the crowd and toward the training dojo. When you reach the dojo though, you don't feel like a training session right then, so you walk off into the forest surrounding the school. [I can't believe her!] you think [She's so naive!] You soon reach a clearng in the forest and sit in hte center of the grove in a meditative fashion. Slowly you drift off, you r mind clear of the days events and betrayal. For a half an hour you enjoy the serene peace of the silent meditation, but suddenly a group of mysterious voices is heard from the near-edge of the grove. You jump to your feet and leap into a nearby tree, listening intently to the mystery voices. "Hey, where'd she go?" you hear a tall human with fiery orange hair say. "She probably ran off when she saw your face Kuwabara," another, shorter human with gelled-back black hair teases. "Shut up Urameshi!" the guy named Kuwabara snaps. Suddenly a young man with red hair and fighting robes appears in the grove. "Please, both of you be quiet!" the red haired man says, "She couldn't hve gone very far." You sense a trace of powerful demon blood in this particular young man, but it is mostly covered by human compassion. All three radiate of strong spirit energy, which strikes your curiousity. [So, two humans and a half demon have come looking for me, eh?] you think, [Well, their gonna get more than they bargained for!] "By the way," you hear the one named Kuwabara say, "where's the shrimp?" You cock your head in confusion. [Shrimp?] you wonder. Suddenly you feel a powerful presence next to you. You turn to see a young man/demon slightly taller than you right beside you. He had spikey black hair and was wearing a black shirt, jacket, pants, and boots, as well as a white headband around his forehead. Your heart skips a beat as you see him in front of you. [Wow, he's hot...wait! I did not just think that!] you yell at yourself. You see the demon smirk a little. [Hello baka] he says telepathically. You see the longsword in the demon's hands and draw your own twin short swords, growling. [So,] you telepathically say, [You must be Shrimp.] The demon glares at you and makes a swipe at you with his sword, but you backflip out of the tree and into the middle of the grove. Right as you land you see the black haired guy called Urameshi in front of you. "By order of Koenma," he says triumphantly, "You are to be brought to justice, Ayame Akino." You growl in anger and glare at the overconfident youth. [Spirit Detectives] you think with vehemence. You look at Urameshi defiantly and frown. "I will not be captured by mere children posing as enforcers of Koenma's laws," you growl angrily, "If need be I will destroy each and every one of your comrades. I do not wish to do this, but if you do not walk away, your lives will be forfeit." The cocky detective just laughs and says, "You're outnumbered, I think we'll take our chances." You shake your head and grin wickedly. "So be it," you say, "I've never been one to know an intelligent Spirit Detective." You slash your blades through the air and chuckle. "I'll make sure to send your bodies back to Koenma...in pieces." You stand defensively and wait for the first attack, your blades out in front of you. The first to attack you is Kuwabara. "Spirit Sword!" he yells as a bolt of spirit energy forms into a sword in his hands. "I don't want to have to hit a girl," Kuwabara says, "I'll try to go easy on you." "I'll do the same, girl," you reply back. Kuwabara glares at you and then charges you, but you merely swipe his blade aside and deliver a swift hit in the jaw with your sword hilt. Kuwabara stumbles for a little while before falling down to the ground, knocked out cold. You turn to face Urameshi, the next victim. "You got off easy with Kuwabara," Urameshi says, "but I'm not that easy." You smirk at his egotistical nature and tauntingly say, "On the contrary, little detective, I think you'll be more easy then your foolish friend." Urameshi glares at you in anger. "You'll pay for that!" he says as he whips his arms up and makes a gun shape with his hands. "SPIRIT GUN!!!" he yells as a bolt of blue energy flies from Urameshi's outstretched fingers towards you. You deftly maneuver your blades in front of you and block the attack easily, much to the surprise of Urameshi. You smirk before quickly launching at him and hitting him in the gut and kneeing him in the head. Uramashi falls to the ground, unconscious and mumbling. You sheathe your swords and gaze around casually. "Who's next?" you yell. A sound from the edge of the grove catches your attention and you turn to see the red haired half demon. "I am Kurama," he says politely, "And I believe that I would be next." Kurama then bows to you in a gentleman fashion before pulling out a rose from his hair that transforms instantly into a whip. You bow as well, drawing yours swors as you raise to face the half demon. For minutes you two stand in silence until Kurama yesll out, "ROSE WHIPLASH!!!" You are surprised by the sudden attack and unable to dodge away. Lightning fast, the whip wraps around your wrist, the thorns cuttin deep into your flesh. You drop your swords in shock and grit your teeth against the pain. You see Kurama smile in triumph as he starts to pull you towards him, but you smirk back. Suddenly you grab onto the whip, the thorns on it now cutting into your palms visciously. Kurama looks at you in disbelief as he is pulled right in front of you. You smile yet again before launching a high kick into his chest ans sending him careening backwards into a tree trunk, hitting his head and knocking him out. You bow yet again to the gfallen form of Kurama and begin to walk away from the grove when you feel the sharp bite of a blade in your back. You backflip over your assailant and land behind the demon you met in the tree. You glare at him in anger and prepare to fight him. [He won't be too hard to beat] you say mentally as you read his spirit energy. Suddenly the demon's voice rushed into your head. [I don't think so, baka] he says, [I won't go down as easily as these fools did.] You glare at the demon and calmly say, [Neither will I, so this is gonna be one hell of a fight.]

You both turn to face each other and almost charge at one another until another unknown B-class demon emerges from the forest at you. You jump up and slice the demon's head off. The demon's body falls to the ground and the head rolls off into the forest. [Call off your demons!] you mentally yell at the demon detective. The demon turns and glares at you. [There not Koenma's, you baka!] he says telepathically. Another demon erupts from the clearing's edge, this time an A-class. The detective thrusts his blade into the demon and impales him through the heart. [He's not too bad] you think, [It's would've been an interesting fight.] [The same could be said of you] the detective says mentally. You turn and glare at the demon for intruding on your thoughts again, but are distracted as a large A-class demon errupts from the forest and charges straight at the demon detective. The detective doesn't realize his danger until it is too late, the charging demon catching him off guard. There was no possible way that the detective could doge out of the way now. [He can't dodge] you think suddenly, [He's going to be crushed!] Without thinking you launch towards the detective and push him out fo the way just before the demon collided into him. Before you could dodge though, the demon charges into you and you are hurdled back into a tree trunk quite a ways away from the grove. You hit the tree with a sickening crunch, your body sliding downt he tree and to the ground. You feel your ribs shatter and crack and pray that none of your internal organs were punctured. You try to get up soon after the attack, but a wave of pain crashes over you and you fall back down to the ground groaning in pain. After another minute or so you stumble to your feet painfully and begin limping back to the ninjitsu school, but only reach the grove edge before collapsing. Before you could hit the ground though, you felt arms wrap around you and lower you gently to the ground before you black out.

------------------HIEI'S P.O.V.------------------
You saw the demon charging at you and made ready to bolt out of the way with your unnatural speed. Just as you were about to move though, you see Ayame Akino rushing towards you. [What the hell?] you manage to thing before she shoves you out of the way of the demon's path. You fly away from the demon, but witness Ayame flying back into a tree outside of the clearing, the sound of broken bones and flesh echoing through the forest. You wince as the sound reverbrates through your mind and turn to face the attacking demon angrily. [Why the hell did she do that?] you pondered, [Stupid girl!] The demon suddenly begins to advance on Ayame Akino again, this time while she was defensless. You launch onto the demon's giant shoulders. [You'll pay for that!] With a ferocity you've never known you decapitated the demon easily. you sheathe your sword and backflip from the headless demon ans the body crashes to the ground. You look around for any more assailants and see none. You then hear the rest of your comrades stir and regain consciousness. You ignore them though, and begin to trek over to where Ayame Akino's body was, but you are stopped by Kurama. "Are you alright Hiei?" he asks. "i'm fine," you snap. Suddenly a twig snapping at the grove edge catches your attention and you turn to see Ayame Akino, broken, battered, and blood stained. You feel a certain relief as you realize that she's alive, but your relief turns into worry as Ayame loses consciousness and begins to topple to the ground. You rush over to her lightning fast and catch her before she could hit the ground and set her donw gently as to not disturb her.

-----------------AYAME'S P.O.V.------------------
You regain consciousness only minutes after you first lost it. You groan in pain as the memory of what happened floods your head. You feel arms wrapped around you while a pair of hands gently proded and caressed your ribs. You look up to see the one named Kurama checking your wounded abdomen while Hiei holds you in his arms. You suddenly scream slightly as Kurama hits the spot where your liver would be. Kurama turns to Hiei and shakes his head in disbelief. "She's bleeding internally," he says, " Her ribs have punctured her heart, lungs, and liver. It's a miracle that she survived." You move slightly at the news and startle Hiei. [You're awake,] he says telepathically. You nod in agreement and look up at him. Curiousity suddenly gets the better of you and you ask, [Who are you?] The demon looks at you slightly surprised. [Hiei Jaganshi] he says. You nod again and try to say thanks, but a violent wave of coughing comes over you and you can't barely breathe from the pain. You feel blood trickling down your lips and feel your stomach sink. [God, I really am internally bleeding] you think in panic. Kurama turns to Hiei with a salve in his hands. "I made a salve to numb the pain," he says to Hiei, "We'll need to rub her bruises and afflicted areas with it..." "No!" you say defiantly. Kurama looks at you, apalled. "But Miss Akino, this salve will numb the pain," he say, "All you need to do is remove your cloak..." "NO!" you scream again. [Come on baka] you hear Hiei's voice inside your head say, [Kurama's right.] [NO!!!] you mentally reply. Suddenly another wave of coughing attacks hits and you double up in pain as your lungs sear. You let a scream out as you hit a tree root and bruise your ribs even more. You then feel Hiei's arms wrap around you, but then his hands begin the move towards the clasp of your cloak. You struggle against Hiei's grasp, but he was too strong and soon enough another wave of pain hit you, this one worse than all the others combined. You feel your head reeling and the world around you fading as you begin to lose consciousness again. You keep struggling, trying to break free of Hiei's arms, but you soon lost all your strength. Just as you blacked out, you felt the clasp of the cloak open and your hood fall off.
NO!!!! That can't be it!!!! (ME: I'm sorry...I have to go to bed!)
I'm never coming here again! (ME: Good! No one loves you anyways!)
Umm...sure...no...yes... (ME: *sigh*)
