I Loathe The Feel Of Lukewarm Water: A Kyo Sohma Romance- Part 1 FINALLY DONE!

You were on top of a roof, engaged in deep thinking and staring up at the night sky. "How long has it been now since I lost them?" "Eight?" "Nine?" "No... it's been ten whole years now." "I wonder if you wanted me to be happy mom." "Even if you did reject me."
"Same goes for you dad." "Even if you both thought I was quite the troublemaker and a handful..." You closed your eyes, letting the wind gently caress your beautiful features. "Well, at least I have Kimura-sensei to take care of me." "Iyaka!" "Iyaka!" you heard your Sensei shout out in her, deep, soothing voice. You jumped off the roof and greeted your master. "Yes Kimura-sensei?" She smiled warmly at you and motioned for you to come inside the house.
"I've already prepared dinner." "Are you hungry?" she asked, sitting herself in a pillow. She patted a pillow beside her, asking you to sit. You smiled happily, nodded your head in agreement, and sat beside her. "We having the usual today master?" she laughed softly and passed you a bowl and a pair of chopsticks. "Yes, the usual soba noodles and onigiri." You carefully grabbed the beautifully decorated china bowl with lily flowers on it and the chopsticks.
"Hey Sensei, are we going to train in the mountains after eating like you said this morning?" you asked excitedly, while grabbing an onigiri with one of your chopsticks. "Of course we are." "I would never break a promise such as this to you." You looked up, still with that smile on your face and she still had that warm smile of hers, surprised she didn't have any wrinkles for a thirty-five year old. She saw your expression and laughed lightly again. "What is it?" "You surprised an old woman such as I doesn't have any wrinkles?"
"Well... yeah I guess." "But you're not that old." you chuckled. "You're the strongest master ever!" you sipped up the rest of your soba noodles and waited patiently for your sensei to finish hers. After she finished eating, you hastily gathered a small bag to bring with you and rushed outside. You and your master live peacefully in the forest and the mountains weren't that far away from you guys so you both got there in no time.
You thought you and her would be the only ones up the mountains today but when you reached to the top you saw a man about your master's age and a young boy about your age training with eachother. The man had soft, grey, eyes and grey hair and was wearing a dark-grey yukata and the boy had maroon, brown eyes, orange hair, and was wearing a karate outfit like you were. You noticed he has a black-belt like you! "I guess we're not alone today." you heard your master say from behind you.
The man and the boy stopped fighting, knowing that they heard your master. "Oh, I'm sorry." "Are these your mountains Kimura?" the man replied, smiling at you and her. The boy stared at you for about three seconds and turned his head away blushing slightly, though you didn't notice. "It is." "But you may train here anytime you'd like Kazuma, as well as your student." you heard your master say to the man named Kazuma. "Thank you Kimura." he bowed his head and turned to you with a smile still on his face. "Ah, you must be Kimura's student." "You're a very pretty young lady." You blushed and bowed your head, for you were too shy to say thanks. (me: you're very calm and shy around adults) You noticed Kimura and the man named Kazuma were chatting away like old friends, so you suspected they've known each other for a long time.
Kazuma stopped talking to your sensei and walked up to the boy he was training with a moment ago. He said a few things to the boy that you couldn't hear and you saw his face redden. The boy walked up to you after that while his Kazuma-sensei continued chatting with your master again. You bowed your head and he did the same. All of a sudden, he threw a punch at you. Luckily, you were on guard and you blocked it. You weren't surprised at his sudden actions at all. As a martial-arts student, you knew if a another student threw a punch or kick at you, he/she wanted to test your strength and abilities.
You quickly started throwing punches and kicks at him and he dodged most of them with ease. He did the same, but only got as far as landing two punches on you. You on the other hand, managed to hit him more than a few times. "I hope you're not going easy on me." "I get bored fighting weaklings." you yelled. "Of course not!" "I wouldn't go easy on you even if you are a girl!" he yelled back. You smiled, satisfied at his words. He smirked and you went and showed no emotion making him wonder what you're thinking. You threw a punch. Your arm was almost to his face until he grabbed your wrist and flipped you over. You were inches away from the ground until you did a somersault and landed gracefully on your feet like a cat would.
You saw his shocked face and smirked lightly. You charged at him, his face still written with amusement. He snapped out of it when you kicked him in the side. He fell to the ground with a soft thud. He grinned up at you and chuckled alittle. "I've never had a good fight like that in awhile!" "You've got me pumped up to try and beat my rival now." Both of you heard clapping behind you and turned around. "That was great, the both of you. You heard Kazuma say. "Yes, they should join the martial-arts tournament together." Kimura-sensei said. "Isn't that the tournament where you can partner up with somebody?" "Kyo has been asking me about this for weeks now." "Maybe they can partner up?"
You heard the two masters talking about it now and turned to Kyo. "So you know about the tournament too huh?" He grinned up at you again. "Yeah... and I was going to ask you if you'd... like to partner up with me. He turned his head away and blushed. This time, you noticed it and blushed too.
"Sure... I'd love to." He was still sitting down and you held out your hand to him. "Oh, by the way, my name's Iyaka." "Iyaka Masamune." "You?" He shook your hand. "The name's Kyo Sohma." He was alittle heavier than you thought and the next thing you know, you came crashing down on him. Your Reaction?

dammit! (me: heh, that's what Kyo would say. XD)
Oh sh*t! I'm such a damn klutz! (me: don't worry, everybody has their klutz moments... and this incident with you will change Kyo forever...)
Yay! *hugs Kyo* (me: < .< talk about Kyo fangirl moment...)
Kyo's POV:

You were enjoying fighting with your master Kazuma until a woman's voice spoke in the quiet air around you and your master. You both turned around and saw a woman about your master's age with long, brown hair and azure eyes, and a beautiful young girl about your age with black hair and streaks, and hazel-brown eyes, and she had a black-belt which easily caught your attention."I wonder if she's really good at fighting..."
"Oh, I'm sorry." "Are these your mountains Kimura?" Your master asked the woman with a smile on his face. He was also smiling up at the young girl you noticed. "She's... very pretty.""What the hell am I thinking?" "I have feelings for Tohru... don't I?" you snapped out of thinking as you heard the woman say you and your master could train here anytime you'd like.
You saw your master turn to the young girl, his warm smile still on his face. You heard him compliment how pretty she was and went back to talking to the woman he called Kimura. You couldn't help but stare at the young girl. She had a perfect body... not as skinny as Tohru... this girl was perfect. She had the most entrancing, beautiful eyes you've ever seen and you were happy to know that she likes to color her hair just by looking at her streaks. It meant she wasn't all goody-goody. She was the tough-girl type. Your kind of girl. Even though Tohru isn't the bad-girl type, you came to like her...love her... but most of your feelings for Tohru were slowly starting to dissipate ever since you laid eyes on this girl.
Your saw your master stopped talking to the woman and come up to you. "Kyo, why don't you go and introduce yourself to the pretty young lady." "You keep on looking at her I've noticed." "Go and intoduce yourself like I told you." "Who knows... maybe she'll like you." your face reddened and your master laughed. You glared up at him alittle and he went back to talk to the woman named Kimura. You went over to the girl and she gave a small bow. You did the same. "This is her chance to show me what she's made of." "To show me that she isn't just a pretty face." You thought to yourself and threw a punch at her. She reacted and blocked it.
"Heh... damn, she was on guard the whole time." "Well, she'll probably be a good challenge." She started punching and kicking at you and you did the same. She was strong. And her punches and kicks were as strong as Yuki's. "I hope you're not going easy on me." "I get bored fighting weaklings." you heard her yell. "Of course not!" "I wouldn't go easy on you even if you are a girl!" you yelled back. You saw a smile creep up her face knowing that you made her happy. You smirked and her expression changed, showing no emotions. This caught you alittle off guard, since you didn't know what she would be thinking next. She threw a punch at you, when it came almost close to your face, you grabbed her wrist and flipped her over.
You were waiting to hear a thud in the grass, but it didn't come. You turned around and she did a somersault and landed ever so gracefully on her feet. You were shocked, oblivious of the fact she charged at you and hit you in the side, you fell over with a thud. Luckily, you both were fighting in the grass so the ground didn't hurt much when you fell. "Damn she's good." You grinned up at her and a small chuckle escaped your lips. "I've never had a good fight like that in awhile!" "You've got me pumped up to try and beat my damn rival now." you told her. You heard clapping behind you and she seemed to have heard it too so you both turned around to see your master and her master clapping.
"That was great, the both of you. You heard Kazuma say. "Yes, they should join the martial-arts tournament together." You heard the lady Kimura-sensei said. "Ah! She knows about the tournament!" you thought happily. "Isn't that the tournament where you can partner up with somebody?" "Kyo has been asking me about this for weeks now." "Maybe they can partner up?" You heard the two adults talking about it and turned back to the young girl, grinning up at her again. "So if your master knows about the tournament, then you know too?" she asked you in that polite, but tomboyish voice of hers. "Yeah... and I was going to ask you if you'd... like to partner up with me." You turned your head away and blushed. This time, she noticed, and you saw her blushing too! "Sure... I'd love to." she then said.
You noticed you were still sprawled on the ground and she came up to you and offered her hand to you. "Oh, by the way." "My name's Iyaka. Iyaka Masamune." "You?" You graciously took her hand and introduced yourself. "The name's Kyo Sohma. As you got up you felt her grip on your hand tighten. "Shit!" "I must be too heavy for her!" you thought and she came crashing down on you. "No dammit!" "I can't let her see my trans- but you were cut off as she finally collided on top of you, but no "poof" came.
You were surprised that you didn't transform and looked over at your master Kazuma. He was just as shocked as you! "H-how?" your voice barely audible. "There's no way in hell she could be in the Sohma family... Kazuma-sensei would know... and besides, he looked as shocked as I was!"

Kazuma's POV:

You saw the girl fall on top of Kyo and thought she would be freaked out by Kyo's transforming into an animal and reject him even thought they just got aqquainted with each other. That memory suppression would be given to this girl, but no poof came. You saw Kyo's shocked, but relieved face.
He looked at you and you knew you were just as shocked and relieved as he was. "This girl isn't in the Sohma family though!" "So how... how is this possible?" "Could she... could she be the true savior for him?" "And not that Tohru Honda girl?" "This turn of events has shown me that she will be the one... to heal the pain he has had since he was born... she will be the one to lift the burden off the curse of the cat."
