High School Is Hell (Part 17)

Kimi woke to her alarm clock screaming in her ears, and with a pounding head ache. She sat up and rubbed her head. She stumbled into the bathroom to shower and do her make-up. Then she looked at her clothes. She grabbed a black skirt and a shirt, threw them on and grabbed some wristbands and bracelets. She walked out her room and slammed her door and opened Cams to see her already in her bathroom. She shrugged and headed down stairs and made Cam some toast, orange juice and got two frozen waffles. She got out syrup, peanut butter, butter, and some utensils, set them next to the plate and started to make a fruit smoothie for herself. She still couldnt keep anything solid down, so she was living on soup, and smoothies, which was fine with her. Cam walked into the kitchen and looked at her spot, with all the food, and a surprised expression crossed her face. Um...thanks, Kii. Cam wavered and sat down with an unsure look as if she wasnt sure if she should eat the food or treasure it. Whats wrong? You dont like waffles anymore?! Kimi asked with a sinking feeling in her gut. No, I love waffles, just...you havent made me breakfast for a long time. Cam replied and poured syrup all over her peanut butter covered waffles. She didnt both with a knife, but cut huge bites with her fork. Oh, well, yeah... sorry about that. Kimi said feeling guilty, I havent been doing very good with that this month... No, its fine. Cam said with her mouth full of waffle, peanut butter and syrup, making it sound like nifie! she was shaking her head, and some syrup was dripping down her chin. Kimi burst out laughing and wet a paper towel, and handed it to Cam. Cam swallowed her mouthful and wiped her chin hastily. Then she grinned and laughed too. Kimi finished her smoothie, and gathered all the dirty dishes. Cam rinsed them and put them in the dishwasher, then looked at Kimi. Hey... she wavered and looked unsure. Yeah? Kimi smiled and sat on the countered. How come you dont eat anything? I mean, you like live on smoothies and cold coffee drinks. Every once in a while you have soup, but... she drifted off and looked at Kimi. Well, I, Kimi faltered and looked at Cam, I cant eat anything solid. I dont know why, but when I do I just throw it all up. Kimi said finally. What if you arent getting all the stuff you need though!? Cam asked with wide eyes. Dont worry, I got lots of vitamin supplements...and I dont feel sick. Kimi wavered at the end, but ended with a satisfying look. Okay... Cam nodded, not quite convinced, but not willing to push the subject. I got to go, Cam smiled and grabbed her bag from the counter. She hugged Kimi quickly and shot out the door. Kimi frowned and put the peanut butter away, then followed Cam out the door, carrying her skateboard to the stop sign, and then dropping it. She looked at Jacques house a little further down her street. The lights were on and he moms car was running in the driveway. Jacque had taken to getting a ride with her mom to avoid walking with Kimi, which Kimi couldnt blame her for. Kimi shrugged and skated toward the school, not really paying attention to anything in general, kinda out in space.
