"I need my hand back Ron," you said with a slight smile.
"Oh... right." he said letting go. You dug into your pocket for a couple galleons, payed for your owl, waited as Ron bought the Owl Treats then you both walked out of the shop and into the bright sunshine.

-------
Across the street, and up the street a ways from the Owl Emporium, you and Ron stood outside Florish and Blotts waiting for Harry and Hermoine. They were waiting in line to buy their books, Hermoine, great stack full of at least 5 or 6, and Harry just one, using his other hand to steady the tower Hermoine had.
You both leaned againt the wall beside eachother, not saying much.
"Um.. about in the Emporium...."
"Er.. yeah?.." you said.
"I was just... uh, kidding.. around there..." he said slowly, choosing the right words.
"Oh.. oh, yeah, well.. that's okay..." you said, though your stomach dropped lightly, "Sorry I slapped that git before you could hit him... you probably would've done a better job too..."
"Nah, that's alright... thanks though." he said with a slight smile as he remembered it.
As Ron finished talking Harry and Hermoine walked out of Flourish and Blotts, Harry a small light looking bag and Hermoine, to bulging ones.
"Do you think you got enough for the summer Hermoine?" you asked with a slight grin.
"Oh I hope so," she said. Ron snorted.
"What book did you get Harry?" he took it out of the bag to show you, it was a deep purple colour and in silver on the cover it said, 'Intermediate Defensive Spells and Charms' You nodded in a approval and he slipped it back into the bag.
"You got an owl then?" asked Harry.
"Yeah," you said with a grin, looking into the cage.
"Oh, she's beautiful!" said Hermoine bending down and looking into the cage, studying your owl more closely.
"How long has it been?" asked Ron, looking around.
Hermoine stood up and looked at her watch, "About 20 minutes," she replied, "What do you all want to do?" Everyone cast glances around the street.
"Honeydukes?" you offered, and everyone nodded.
"We can get Ginny and Anna too, they're probably still there." said Harry.
In groups of two, you and Hermoine and Ron and Harry, made your way down the street and into Honeydukes.
Harry was right, Ginny and Anna were still there, talking to two rather good-looking guys who looked to be the same age as them.
Ron began to make his way over to them but you grabbed his shoulder lightly, "Ah, Ron, leave them alone. C'mon."
He glanced back at them, but went with you. There was a shelf on the one wall with a sign that changed colour, 'NEW'
There, you could test all the new candies and if you liked, buy some. Ron dared you to taste a particulary odd looking one. It was round, rubbery, about the size of a galleon and a weird greenish colour. You took a bite of it and grinned, it tasted pretty good.
"Ha, it's good, have a bite." You said holding the one you bit up to his mouth, he took a bite, looking at you suspiciously.
"Hey, it is," he tried to take it from you but you quickly put it in your mouth, "I wanted that!" he said, you opened your mouth,
"You wan' it?" you asked. He quickly grabbed it off your tongue and ate it. "Ugh, I can't believe you did that!" he laughed.
"It actually tastes better when you haven't chewed it."
"Whoa, I'm surprised!" you said sarcastically.
"Yeah me too," he winked and you laughed.
"Guys, it's time to go!" Hermoine shouted from the door.
"Okay!" you both shouted back and followed everyone else out, in your group you walked back to Florean Fortescue's Icecream Parlor where you found your mothers, still chatting away.
"Oh, yes I remember that!" your mother said, laughing, as you lot walked up to them. Fred and George were, surprisingly, already there.
"Oh, hello dears, it's been half an hour already??" Mrs Weasley asked and everyone nodded, "Well, we best be going..." she said.
"Yes, us too... these two are getting fidgety." An understatement, Marlie and Jasmine were running around all the tables singing at the top of their lungs. "It's been absolutely wonderful seeing you! You and your family must come over for supper sometime?" your mother said.
"Oh yes, that would be great." said Mrs. Weasley happily, she and your mom got up, and hugged, "Bye dear."
"Yes, see you another time."
You, and all the Weasleys, along with Harry and Hermoine said your goodbyes and planned to do something more together before the summer was out. You all parted ways, feeling quite happy yourself, you had already made some friends in Hogwarts.
You and your sisters and mom walked back throught the leaky cauldron, up from the underground and got in your car.
"So how did you kids get along?" asked your mom as you drove home.
"Good," you said with a grin, "We've planned to do something together again before summers up."
"Oh like what?" she asked.
"Well, we don't know yet, but we'll figure it out sometime." said Anna from the backseat. (You manged to get shotgun again)
"Yes, well I think I'll invite Molly and her family over for supper sometime? How's that sound?" You and Anna both grinned and nodded.
You pulled into your driveway and everyone got out, not bothering to hurry because your mom had to unlock the door first anyways.
Inside, you automatically went up to your room, put the cage with your owl in it on your desk and layed down on your bed looking at the roof and thinking about everything that happened that day. Anna came in and layed down beside you and you both stared up in silence for a few moments.
"What do you want." you asked finally.
"Nothing." she said.
"Then why're you here."
"No reason."
"Oh... well... leave then."
"No."
"Fine." you said.
You both layed there for a little longer then you grabbed one of your pillows and started hitting her with it.
"Noo! Fine, fine, I'm going! I'll leave yeah to think about your little lova' boy." She winked and closed the door, a pillow you threw hitting it. She opened the door and stuck out her tongue at you then closed it again.
She obviously caught on fast, you two were really close and knew eachother like ... something you know really REALLY well.
You got up and walked over to your owl, "What should I name you, huh?" you asked quietly. She cooed softly. You sat down in your desk chair to think about it while stroking her lightly.
Giving up on thinking of one yourself, you pulled open your desk drawer and pulled out a history text book. You opened it to a random page and scanned down it for a name. There were none on either page. You opened it randomly again, "Motella?" you offered, she hooted indignently and ruffled her feathers, "No alright how about... Carlotta?" She didn't move at all, you decided to try again, "Isca?" She thought about it for a second then hooted happily. You grinned and closed the textbook with a snap, "Isca it is then."
