Naruto --> The Tale of Three Sisters --> Part Thirteen (Reckless)

You stumble back. Rain holds her kunai up and it's dripping with your blood. Temari and Akari are surprised that you took that hit for Naruto and Misaki is completely freaked out. You touch the left side of your neck. There is a gash and you are losing a lot of blood. You just stare ahead at Rain, expressionless. You don't show any form of fear at all. The blood from your neck is oozing down, but you don't appear worried about it. You stare straight at Rain.
"Skye-sensei..." Naruto whispers, shocked.
"Don't you even feel pain?" Rain asks you, a little surprised at your lack of reaction to the wound.
"It'll heal." You say darkly and keep your eyes on her. You can use your medical jutsu to heal yourself, but using it now would be fatal because it would put you off guard and it would use up a lot of your chakra, which you are saving up.
'Use your healing jutsu now, Skye, or you'll bleed to death!' Temari thinks.
You fold your arms across your chest, waiting for Rain to make the next move. You never usually attack first, you are a strategist and you study your opponent's attacks before making a move. Rain pauses, waiting for you to do something about your wound, but you just keep staring at her.
Rain charges towards you and you watch her come. Then you make your move. Rain is charging at you with the same kunai. As she reaches you, you grab the kunai with your bare left hand and thrust your elbow at her throat again, harder this time, pushing her back. You let go of the kunai as she falls back, grabbing her throat in pain. You glance down at your palm. There is blood where you grabbed the kunai. Your hand stings but you dont wince. You close your eyes and endure the pain silently. You clench your fist to try and erase the pain. Blood trickles from your hand and onto the floor in tiny little drops.
"You're so reckless." Rain says, staring at you.
'And that's why you'll lose...' Rain thinks.
"You have no idea." You whisper under your breath as she approaches you. You run towards her and lash out at her, striking her at every chi point. She stumbles back, pushing you away. You elbow her occasionally, mostly aiming for her neck. Suddenly, Rain disappears and appears behind you before you have the chance to react. Before you get the chance to thrust yourself against her, she grabs your hair, hard. When she grabs your hair, she pulls the ribbon, the two chopsticks, and all the pins out. Temari, seeing this, reaches for her giant fan. Misaki also pulls out a knife from her kimono sleeve. Akari gasps, pulling out a few shuriken. Naruto quickly clasps his hands together, preparing to perform his 'shadow clone no jutsu' hand-seal.
You remain momentarily frozen as her hand pulls tightly on your long black hair. As you turn sideways, almost as if to face her, she aims you a severe blow to your stomach.
Your eyes open wide, surprised by the force of that blow. Still holding onto your hair, she aims another blow to your face. When you try to dodge it, she pulls your hair, causing you to freeze as she hits you.
'She's using my own hair as a weakness...' You think, 'I cannot have any weaknesses...not now...'
Making an instant decision, you reach for the fan tucked in your sash. You pull it out, flip it out, and without a moment's hesitation, you turn around and slice off a huge portion of your knee-length hair, causing her to let go. You do another spin, aiming the fan to slash Rain across her stomach. Seeing what you're about to do, Rain leapes back at once, using her wind element to push herself away from you.
Luckily, you had sliced off your hair with precision. Now your hair is waist-length. You reach down and grab the chopstick with the peacock's feather on it off the floor. With one quick move, you pin up your hair like it was before you cut it. Your hair is scattered all over the floor in front of you. Rain seems ultimately surprised, like everyone else in the room.
Rain throws 10 kunai in your direction at once. You raise your hand slightly, causing the ground to come up in front of you like a wall (earth element). It acts as a shield and the 10 kunai hit it. You bring your hands together and a ball of air appears in your hands. You throw it at the wall, pushing it back at lightning speed towards Rain. Rain disappears as that earth wall you created slams against one of the walls in the other end of the room.
You don't bother looking around. If Rain sends an attack flying your way, you'll sense it almost immediately. For a couple of seconds, nothing happens.
Then a voice echoes around the room.
"Well, well...Not bad...At least you've gained control of the elements...but playing with our clan's elements won't defeat me..."
'Rain...' You think, 'Oh, I play with much more than our clan's elements...'
You clasp your hands together, forming a seal. Temari frowns at your hand-seal as she fails to recognise it.
'Skye-sensei...' Naruto thinks, still traumatised by the fact that you took a hit for him and the fact that half of your hair is now scattered all over the floor.
"Darkness-fire no jutsu..." You whisper as black flames form a circle around like shadows. You close your eyes, concentrating your chakra on the black flames.
Rain, curiously, re-appears directly opposite you.
"What's this?" She asks, amused.
You wait for your chakra to build up in the flames. The black flames lick against the floor, scorching it.
Rain, realising that you're about to her with a serious jutsu, forms a bright glowing ball of light in her hands.
'This is it...' You think.
'She's gone...' Rain thinks, the ball of light in her hands growing bigger every second.
"You're finished." Rain says, releasing the ball of light in your hands.
You close your eyes as the black flames spread out around you, forming some sort of shield. The flames have risen to about your height.
As the ball of light hits you, you turn away, since its rays are as bright and as blinding as burning magnesium oxide.
Naruto, Akari, Temari, and Misaki raise their hands over their eyes, as they too are affected by the bright light.
"Why are you so afraid of the light?" Rain taunts in a loud, echoing voice.
You raise your hands and the black flames around you leap you higher.
'Take this...' You think and the black flames spread out in Rain's direction, drowning out the light element as they crawl towards her.
As the black flames reach Rain, they circle around her, shadowing over her. She gasps.
"And why are YOU so afraid of the dark?" You ask icily.
Rain clenches her fists and shouts, "Enough!"
As though obeying her command, the black flames vanish at once. You blink once, surprised.
"I guess I'll have to take care of you the old-fashioned way!" Rain says coldly and raises her hands slowly.
The ceiling in the room suddenly turns black, as dark as night itself.
"All of you will die..." Rain says, furiously and impatiently.
Temari, Misaki, Naruto, Akari, and you stare up at the ceiling. Suddenly, thousands of kunai, shuriken, and many other small and deadly weapons form in the dark ceiling. All five of you keep your eyes fixed on the ceiling.
"Rain! What are you trying to do? Kill us?" Misaki asks, shocked.
"Yeah. It's not like I have any use for any of you, anyway." Rain replies smugly, "Take this as a farewell gift..."
She suddenly throws something in your direction. Caught by surprise, you touch the side of your neck. Suddenly, you find yourself frozen where you stand.
Then in a flash of lightning, she disappears.
Before any of you get a chance to react, the weapons start pelting down like rain.
Within a split second, Temari pulls out her giant fan. Misaki stands closely behind Temari. Akari hides behind Misaki and Temari. Naruto just stands there, his mouth wide open as he stares at the falling weapons above him.
You remain frozen, thanks to whatever Rain threw at you, even though dozens of weapons are falling down on you at once.
Suddenly, a split-second before any of the weapons hit you, you feel yourself pushed aside, knocked off your feet.
'What...?' You think, surprised. You stare up at whoever knocked you down.
'No...' You think as the figure who knocked you down leans over you, protecting you from the falling weapons, 'Sasuke...'

About a dozen weapons hit his back as he leans over you...protecting you. He stares down at you. You stare up at him.
Meanwhile, Temari used her giant fan to blow away all the weapons falling down towards her. Naruto had raced behind Temari (last minute), seeking protection.
So, thanks to Temari...Misaki, Naruto, and Akari were safe.
The remaining weapons out of your range hit the ground around all five (now, six) of you. Then it stops. The ceiling becomes its normal shade of white again. You keep staring up, surprised (but you don't show it so much) at...Sasuke...
"Sasuke...?" You whisper softly. His eyes are closed as he still leans over you.
Now that Rain's 'thousand-deathstrike no jutsu' is over, you find yourself able to move again. Sasuke collapses into your arms. He is still partially conscious, but very badly hurt.
"Sasuke??" Naruto yells out, running towards you and Sasuke, who is in your arms. Akari, Temari, and Misaki run over to you as well.
"Help me..." You say softly. Naruto and Akari kneel down next to you and Sasuke.
Akari, Naruto, and you immediately pull out the kunai and shuriken from Sasuke's back. The back of his shirt is soaked in blood.
Using your medical jutsu (which you learned from Tsunade a year or two ago), a blue glow emits from your hands as you heal up the wounds on his back. His wounds heal almost immediately.
Sasuke groans slightly, sitting up, touching his back. The back of his shirt is still soaked in blood.
"Sasuke!! What are you doing here, huh? Want to be the hero by saving Skye-sensei, huh? HUH?!" Naruto jabs his finger at Sasuke.
"Hn." Sasuke mutters.
"Why are you here?" You ask Sasuke.
"I overheard Akari and Naruto talking loudly at the ramen store a couple of days ago, saying that they were going to follow you to the Wind Country. So I followed them." Sasuke explains to you. He looks at your wounded neck and your bleeding hand, "You're hurt..."
Clenching your fist, a blue glow emits from it and your hand heals up immediately. Touching your neck, there is a blue glow and your wound seems to be closing. You get up and walk across the room, picking up your black ribbon (from your hair) which is still lying on the floor.
Sasuke looks at the floor and sees black hair scattered all over the floor. He seemingly gasps, recognising it as your hair.
'Her hair was sliced off...' Sasuke thinks, almost angrily, 'Did Rain do it?'
"This house is ruined..." Misaki sighs.
"We almost died and this house is all you think of?" Akari asks Misaki.
"Rain was going easily on us...she was holding back..." You say aloud, "She wasn't using her strongest jutsus..."
"Forget her for now..." Temari says, closing her fan and tucking it behind her in her sash again.
"I cannot believe that Rain has now become so cold..." Misaki says matter-of-factly, "Now she's with the Akatsuki...How can she be so stupid?"
'Itachi is also in the Akatsuki...' Sasuke thinks.
"She won't be attacking us anymore." You say, "She thinks we're dead...She used her 'thousand-deathstrike no jutsu' on one of her victims in the Fire Country...he really didn't survive...Plus, she freezed me, so that I couldn't use my wind element...So she must think that we're dead..."
"It's a good thing, then." Misaki breathes a sigh of relief.
"She also didn't count on my giant three-star fan..." Temari adds.
"And Sasuke..." Akari adds.
"Please! I could have saved Skye-sensei myself-" Naruto starts off, but it interuppted by Akari.
"But you hid behind me and Temari!" Akari shouts at Naruto.
'Idiots...' Sasuke thinks.
"We're returning to Konoha Village tomorrow..." You say darkly.
"You can stay at my place for tonight, then." Temari says brightly.
"Thank you." You say softly.
You remain troubled for the rest of the day as Temari, you, Akari, Sasuke, and Naruto head back to the Hidden Sand Village.
"What's wrong?" Sasuke asks you, "You look troubled..."
'Why did you save me, Sasuke?' You think, 'Why would you do such a thing...for me...?'
