(Aubrey’s POV)

It’s been two weeks and two days since I was in Edmonton enjoying myself and I can honestly say that I miss it. Okay well that’s kind of a stretch, I just miss the fact that while I was in Edmonton I didn’t have to worry about anything except having a good time. Now that I’m back in Vancouver it’s all about getting ready for the holidays, and I know that we’re only 11 days into the month of December, but I am ready for the holidays to be over. The bad part is that I haven’t even begin getting people Christmas gifts, worse is that I don’t even know how I’m getting lists for. I swear of it wasn’t for Robert, I would be going crazy.

Ever since we both got to Vancouver, we have been spending as much as our free time together that we have. For example we’ve kind of made it a thing that if we’re both free for lunch we head to that sandwich shop that I took Robert to that day he surprised me at work, granted we have to eat our food in one of our cars, but it’s still pretty nice. Or before I have dance practice or have to be at my guppies swim meets or practices I will head up to the Breaking Dawn set and will watch him and then when he isn’t shooting a scene, we’ll head to his trailer and just talk. It’s been nice especially since he knows how stressed I am right now and does everything possible to keep me distracted.

Still I wish he was here with me right now, but sadly he is already on set filming. So here I am on a Saturday morning not wanting to get up, but sadly I have to. So I wake up head to my bathroom and get ready for my swim practice which will more than likely kick my ass. You know how during the holidays everyone seems a whole lot happier and nicer? Well Keith doesn’t seem to understand that concept. He said that this is the time where I need to prove how dedicated a swimmer is due to all the distractions known as the holidays, so because of this he has decided to push my body to its breaking point so he knows how dedicated I am to becoming an elite swimmer. I sometimes feel like he forgets that I have a life outside of swimming, but I would never tell him this.

So I get to swim practice and the first thing we do is work out. I’m talking about running, lifting weights, pull-ups, any other grueling thing you can do I have probably done it. The only good thing I can say about all of this working out is that the small muscles I do have are more defined. After working out, he lets my body rest, for about 5 minutes, and then we’re headed to the pool doing stroke after stroke. We then work on my dives and my turns since he says they have gotten worse. Still I don’t know how this makes sense because my swim times have gotten better. Yet again, I don’t tell him this because Keith intimidates the mess out of me, and he does know what he’s talking about. So we continue with practice and then after he says I am free to go after three hours of working out and swimming.

I then head back home. As soon as I open the door I see the girls that Ryan and Josh had slept with last night. The first thing they ask me is where Ryan and Josh went. I told them that because they had a game today they’re at a morning skate, which I had to further explain to them basically meaning they were preparing for today’s game against Tampa Bay. They seemed okay with that and I asked if they wanted to stay and have breakfast but they interrupted me and said they had to go. The sad part was if they would have let me finish I could have told them that by the time I finish with breakfast Ryan and Josh would have been back. Oh well their loss.

So like I predicated I finished up with breakfast as soon as Ryan and Josh walked in. They put their bags down in the living room and then headed into the dining room because they knew that’s where the food would be. So I set the food down and we begin eating. We don’t say anything at first but then we start to slow down.

“So I’ve got to tell you guys that while the girls you sleep with look a whole lot better, I feel as though they have gotten dumber.”

“What are you talking about Aubrey,” Ryan asks me.

“Well they freaked over the fact that you were here this morning. Plus they didn’t know what a morning skate was. I thought you said these girls knew hockey.”

“Please Aubrey, you actually believed that. Look at the girls we’ve slept with. Other than Alexis, I think the only thing those girls know about hockey is the fact that it’s played on ice,” Josh says and Ryan seemed to agree with them.

“I just don’t see why you don’t sleep with girls who actually know something about the sport you play. It would just make it easier for me when I walk in since I wouldn’t have to explain why you’re not there when they wake up.”

“You make a good point, Aubrey. I’ll tell you what we’ll think about sleeping with girls like that but I highly doubt that’s going to happen. Besides we still have that bet with Caleb going on and it’s just easier to sleep with dumb sluts who don’t know the game because we don’t have to talk about it to them,” Ryan said and I just rolled my eyes.

You see Ryan, Josh, and Caleb have this bet going on where they want to see who can sleep with the most girls this month. The sad part is most of the girls they sleep with know about the bet and still go through with it. It makes me sick, but because of our roommate agreement that I signed, I can’t stop them from sleeping with someone. Its times like these that make me regret rooming with Ryan and Josh or even being friends with them and I’m including Caleb.

“Changing the subject, what are you doing during your daily Rob-brey time,” Ryan asks me. Yes they have resorted to using the tabloids name for Robert and me to describe the time we spend together.

“I don’t know. Other than him staying over here last night, I doubt we’ll get to see each other today due to him filming all day and me having to get ready for tonight’s game.”

“That sucks, you would think you two have become addicted to spending time together.”

“Then again maybe not seeing each other will be good for you two. I mean ever since you came back from Edmonton you two have been kind of attached at the hip,” Josh points out.

“Is that a bad thing,” I ask.

“No, but just don’t become one of those girls who is all ‘I can’t live if I don’t see my boyfriend,’” we all then laugh because we all know girls who are like that, and we kind of hate it.

“Trust me guys I won’t become like that.” Just then my phone rang indicating that I had received a text message. I didn’t have time to look at my phone because Ryan took it from me. He then looked at my phone and showed it to josh before saying anything.

“Really Aubrey you won’t become one of those girls. Because it seems like you are becoming one if your boyfriend knows you’re not busy and is asking you to come to the set and visit him on set.”

“Not to mention he is even going buy you lunch. What about us Aubrey, we need JAR time too,” Ryan says mentioning the name our friends have started to call us.

“All the text message indicated was that I have an amazing boyfriend, not that I’m some clingy girl. Besides we had JAR time Wednesday when y’all played the Ducks. I can only take having a pre-game nap with you all once a week due to the fact that you both snore so loudly. It amazes me that girls find that attractive. Not to mention I always somehow wake up with an arm covering my face.” We all laugh at that and I head to my room to get ready for the day.

I take a nice long shower and then finish up my bathroom routine before heading into my room to find something to wear for today. I just decide on some nice jeans and sweater and some flats would work. I then packed my dance bag because I knew that I would have to leave from the set to the game. I told Ryan and Josh bye and that I would see them Monday due to them having a game in Edmonton Saturday and would have to leave immediately following the game.

I then made my way to the set. Once there I park in my favorite spot, away from the crazy fans. I park my car and then head up to the set. I pass all the crazy, or should I say dedicated, fans and they freak out when they see me. By the way they were acting you would think that I was one of the stars in the movies. So I wave and then make my way past security and then head to Robert’s trailer.

Most of the time when I enter his trailer, he isn’t there. So you could tell how shocked I am when he is just sitting on his couch like he is waiting for me. I drop my bag and immediately jump on him and start to hug him.

“What are you doing here,” I ask as soon as I pull away from him.

“Last time I checked, this was my trailer,” he said with that infamous crooked grin on his face.

“Nobody likes a jerk Robert. Seriously though, I thought you were filming right now?”

“We were and then the director called for a lunch break. Speaking of lunch your favorite ham sandwich with all the veggies and condiments you normally get,” he says while hanging me my sandwich. I get off him and sit right beside him and we just begin eating.

We then start to talk while we both eat, which I realize that while it is considered rude neither of us actually care. “So how has filming been,” I asked him.

“Good, I got to play the role of a father and I have to say it was weird.”

“Why was it weird?”

“I don’t know I just never thought of myself as a dad. Plus the girl playing Renesmee acts like more of a parent that I do,” I had to laugh as soon as he said that.

“I’m sorry Robert. So I guess babysitting the Marsh’s kids wasn’t great practice for you.”

“No it was great practice. I just wish that one of those kids could have been 9-years-old or something seeing how that is how old Renesmee is suppose to be I think.”

“Don’t look at me. I didn’t know I was suppose to pay attention to the details when you forced me to read those books,” he then laughed and then wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me closer to him which caused me to place my head on his chest.

“I guess you have a point. So how are you handing everything else,” he asks me.

“Okay I guess. Swimming is kicking my ass, but it will be worth it when the World Championships and Nationals come around. Work is okay, but everyone is freaking out over all the holiday related stuff we have to do. Then speaking of holidays I haven’t even begun shopping for anyone’s Christmas gifts.”

“Well who do you have to shop for?”

“Well obviously my parents but my brothers and I are all going in and pitching in to send them on a nice vacation. I have to get my brothers something, as well as my grandparent’s and Derek’s wife something. Then I have to get my best friends from Texas something but I think I know what I’m getting them. Then I have to order my guppies’ gifts so I can give it to them in time. I also have to get Caleb, Ryan, Josh, Alexis, Megan and Kesler something since we’ve gotten to be a close group of friends. And finally I have to get something for this guy who is supposedly my boyfriend.” I then looked at him to see he was smiling.

“Oh really, can I ask what you’re getting this boyfriend of yours?”

“Probably coal, he’s been really bad lately.”

“I’ll show you bad.” He then starts tickling me and I can’t help but laugh. I beg him to stop but he continues to tickle me. After about five minutes he stops tickling me and then he just looks at me.

“What,” I ask.

“You’ve seen me shoot numerous times right.”

“Yeah and you’ve seen me swim. What are you getting at?”

“I was wondering if you wanted to see someone else shoot, especially if they happen to be some of you biggest fans.”

“Um you know I would. It’s because of them that I’m more of a werewolf and Team Jacob fan.” I stick out my tongue and laugh while he rolls his eyes. We both get up and he wraps one arm my shoulders and then we both walk towards the woods where the famous wolf pack is filming. Now as usual I can’t really hear but I don’t care. The fact that I am just here witnessing a scene being shot is fine by me. I was still thinking about this that I didn’t realize that Robert had whispered something to me.

“What did you say,” I asked. He laughed before saying anything.

“I was asking you what do you think of the scene.”

“It seems nice, what part of the book was this?”

“Oh it’s just an extra part they added in. You know how they do that. Oh wait, you don’t seeing as you haven’t seen the movies,” he said laughing at me.

“I told you, one day I will sit down and see them all.”

“Well I hope it’s before the premiere of this movie. I wouldn’t want to explain to the press why I was talking throughout the movie because my date didn’t know what was going on.” I turned to look at him because I was kind of shocked by what he had just said.

I was about to say something but couldn’t by what I had just heard. “Oh my, is that Aubrey Dunbar out here and not locked up in Robert’s trailer.” I turned around that Taylor, Tyson, and a bunch of other members of the wolf pack that I had gotten to know. They rush over to me and start hugging me.

“It’s about time Robert freed you from you cage. We’ve missed our dose of see you and hearing about your dumb antics,” Taylor told me.

“Aw I missed you guys too. Besides being locked up with Robert isn’t all that bad,” I said looking at Robert.

“So what are you doing tonight,” Tyson asked me.

“Well the Canucks game tonight and before you ask the game is sold-out. Even the nose-bleed section that I stand at, then again the when you’re as awesome and entertaining as me you’re section does tend to fill up fast.”

“Oh so the fact that nose-bleed seats aren’t that expensive had anything to do with it,” Taylor said.

“I’m just going to ignore you Taylor.”

“So we won’t be able to see you tonight, and we’re pretty much filming all day tomorrow, this sucks,” Tyson added.

“I know but I wouldn’t have been able to hang out tomorrow anyways. I have to get my Christmas shopping done so I can make sure my gifts to everyone arrive so they can open them on Christmas. I have an idea, what are you all doing next Friday?”

“Other than filming and packing up to head home for the holidays not much why?”

“Well if y’all are still in town my friends and I are having our monthly bonfire. Y’all should come.”

“A bonfire,” Taylor asked looking kind of skeptical.

“Yeah it’s real fun. We all head to this place in the woods and hang out. We make hot dogs, s’mores, and pretty much anything you can jam on a stick and cook over a fire. We then talk about random stuff that has happened. You get to meet a bunch of cool people, who I promise won’t be crazed fans.”

“Plus you’ll probably get to see Aubrey and some other people being thrown into the lake, which is always pretty fun,” Robert said.

“Yeah it’s real fun, you all should totally come and invite some of your friends, the more the merrier and there’s free food. What sane person would turn down free food,” I said.

They thought about it and they agreed. I told them I would text them the details later. After that Robert and I headed back into his trailer to talk some more. I looked at my watched and realized that I had to get ready for the game. I knew that by the time I left here and made it to the arena I wouldn’t have that much time to change so I went out into Robert’s bathroom to change. Once I came out and went back to the front Robert was just looking at me.

“What,” I said and then he comes up and then places his hands on my waist which I should mention isn’t being covered by my top. I swear if my mom saw what I was wearing she would kill me, but I’m getting off topic.

“Nothing you just look amazing. Do you really have to go? I don’t think I can handle all those drunken guys looking at you all during the game.”

“Aw Robert, I’ll be fine. Plus you know the guys I’m normally around won’t stand for that.”

“I guess you have a point.” Robert then got up and moved a strand of my hair behind my ear before he started kissing me. As much as I was enjoying this, I knew that it had to end. So I pulled apart from him and he just looked at him.

“Hey you know after the game Ryan and Josh won’t be home,” I said.

“Really, I was just getting use to them bringing girls over and sleeping with them while I stayed there.”

“Sadly that won’t happen. They’ll be on their way to Edmonton.”

“So you’re saying that you’ll be home all alone,” he asked and I just nodded. “If I come over do you promise that you’ll still be wearing that outfit? “

“Yep and then I’ll change when before I fall asleep. So do you want to come over tonight after the game is over?” He just nodded. I told him I would call him after the game. He nodded and I put on my jacket and he gave me one last kiss before I left for the game.
