"Any sign Of her yet?" Jab spoke through the cellphone, as he leaped through trees.
"No, man. Quit calling everye second!" The voice on the cell yelled, and then hung up.
Hayao and Yuuki walked pass a shrine, and something seemed to be calling out to them. Yuuki turned around, and Hayao, too.
"Probably nothing," Yuuki said, but Hayao walked up ahead anyways.
"C'mon, let's snoop!" He called.
Yuuki blushed, and followed anyways. "Fine, but if we get caught, I won't take the blame!" In an instant, the air around both of them got think, and Hayao found it hard to breathe.
"Hey, what's the matter?" Yuuki didn't seem to think so, the air was normal for him.
"I'm finding it hard to breathe, aren't you?"
"hmm? What?"
"I guess not, let's just go on ahead,"
"Let's go," Yuuki started running, but Hayao took his time, and paced up with him soon.
When they entered the shrine, they saw someone coming out, so they instantly turned around, hiding themselves behind pilar of the shrine.
She came out, without noticing them. Hayao took a good look at her, and remembered her from somewhere. When he looked at the uniform, he noticed they went to the same school.
They waited until she was out of sight, then they went back into the shrine. There was a creepy well, covered with wines. it looked really ancient.
"Yo, Hayao. Be the look out, tell me if someone is coming, ok?" Yuuki raved his hands over the wood of the well. Something was strange about this well.
Could this have something to do about Kay's dissapearence? Yuuki thought.
"Dude, quit your stalling! Someone's coming this way!" Hayao whispered, with panic.
"Damn, got any other smart ideas?" Yuuki looked around, for some place to hide, but it seemed that the shrine was a box, without any other place to hide. Yuuki loooked up, and signaled Hayao, just before the door creaked open.
"Hmm...I could of swore that somebody was in here," it was the same girl from before.
She looked around, and there was nothing.
"I guess it was probably Buuyoh, oh well," She walked over to the well, and gazed down.
"Eeep!!" She screamed and jumped a step back. Yuuki and Hayao shyly chuckled at each other, and then jumped out. Hayao gave her his hand, and he waited for her reply. She hesitated, and then looked them both up and down.
They seem normal enough,. she thought.
She took his hand, adn lifted herself off the ground.
"Thanks, I guess," She murmured.
"Who are you?" She asked, while looking a little concerned.
"none of your concerns. Now, Hayao, let's get going, I don't think we'll find anything out of this dumop of a place," Yuuki folded his arms around his head, and started walking away.
"Hey, wait!" She called out.
"Yeah, what?" Yuuki looked back, and found her blushing.
He found himself blushing, for no reason, and gave himself a pinch.
"My name's Kagome, what's yours?" She smiled at him.
"It's Yuuki, and i'm not interested," He sat down on the steps.
She looked pale and upset, and turned around. Yuuki walked out.
"Hey, see you at school, Kagome." Hayao placed his hand over her shoulder, and walked out, aswell.
Kagome waited, for a while, and then walked over to the well. She sat on the edge, and let herself drop.
Hayao and Yuuki watched from the window. After waiting for about some time, they decided to go back in. They saw the well glowing, actually, something in the corner was glowing. Yuuki bent down, adn picked up what seemed to be a shard of some sort of jewelry. He put in his pocket, and stared down the well.
"Huh?! Impossible!" kagome wasn't there, she had vanished.
"hayao, you see that?"
"By something do you mean nothing?" Hayao gulped, and watched Yuuki jump down after. He jumped, too, but landed on the ground. He looked around, adn then up, he was in the shrine, but Yuuki was nowhere in sight...
