You,Naruto,Yamato and Kakashi mad eit back to the base,but you had to admit when you got there you were not expecting somegiant two story cabin.You looked up excited clenching your fist,"All i know is i have the balcony room."you said rushing up the stairs to the entrance,Naruto smiled at you as he tried to catch up,as soon as you ran into the house you bumped into someone almost falling over.You rubbed your side as you looked up to see who was groaning and it was TenTen,you lit up and grabbed her into a hug.She looked at you as well holdinh on tight,"Tiene...ive missed you so much,im glad we get to do this mission together."Naruto finally walked in and saw Lee coming from another room,"Hey bushybrow im sure glad your here."Naruto..as am i..."they both high fived each other and you ran over to Lee jumping into his arms,he chuckled at your childish behaviour,"Boy am i glad to see you..so tell me is Neji and Gai Sensei here as well."Lee put you back down,"Sadly they are not,but do not worry i am here for the fill in."Lee gave you a thumbs up and got hit in the head by TenTen's fist.

Lee started rubbing his head looking at TenTen apologetically,"And what am i chop liver??","My apologies TenTen!!"she shook her head walking away and you just had your face in your hand,"Boy have i missed you guys",Then Shizune walked in from another doorway you turned around to see her approaching Yamato and Kakashi,"Well Lady Tsunade was able to fill in some of the details thats at hand."and she looked over them to wait for one of them to talk,Kakashi stepped up to the plate,but then they all turned to see you guys in your own conversatins.Ino and Sakura were talking while Sai was still rubbing his face from their fist,you were talking to TenTen about what was going on while sitting next to Hinata and the guys were in their own little world."Yeah so weve missed you alot in the village,your training is over missy stop trying to hide from us."TenTen complained,"Yeah i know im sorry its just...everything has been complicated lately.."

TenTen tilted her head,"How do you mean,is everything alright?"you gave her a closed eye smile and turn in Naruto's direction he was sitting down against a wall in a daze and then he got up walking out of the room.You turned back over to TenTen,"We'll continue this later.."you said giving her a cheesy smile before going after Naruto,she looked a bit confused and then turned to Hinata who looked just as confused.TenTen sighed softly,"Well i guess shell be marrying Naruto Uzumaki after all..."Hinata looked towards the door you walked out of and slunk her head.You went outside on the balcony,you looked up at the stars first before facing Naruto,he was looking up as well.It was weird to you seeing him like that,he was always in a cheerful mood and had his goofy smile plastered on his face but that was now hard to race.You couldnt help but feel wwhat he was feeling,he was your best friend after all so it would make sense to feel his pain.You slowly walked beside him as you leaned your arms on the rail.He knew you were there but he didnt bother looking down,instead he kept his hands gripping the railing.

You looked around at each person and back at Kakashi wondering whos team youd be put on,it didnt really matter to you,but you were just anxious to know."Naruto,Sai,Tiene and Shino you four will work under my command."Naruto jumped up in the air."Okay so the rest of you that werent called come over on my side."Yamato spoke with his hand raised,TenTen,Lee,and Kiba followed with Akumaru walking on his side,"Jeez did he really have to say it like that,he made us sound like rejects."TenTen complained,"Do not worry...we will do great."Lee replied and TenTen just rolled her eyes.You walked over to Kakashi,"Hey uhm Kakashi Sensei...you didnt put me on your team because you know i can take care of Naruto right?"he looked a bit confused and gave you a closed eye smile,"No no Tiene i picked you because of your abilities...and the fact that you can keep Naruto in line."you gaped as he walked away scratching the back of his head.

The next morning you all made it towards the lake,you guys stood there for a few minutes standing next to your team.You looked out at the lake and it was still foggy,you turned around eyeing Sai,Shino and Naruto.They all had on serious looks but Shino always did so that wasnt anything new,and Sai's wasnt quite serious more like blank.Then you looked up at Naruto since you were standing next to him,he looked ready to go,"Alright everybody get ready...and lets move out."Kakashi and Yamato's team dispersed while Shizune stayed with the girls to go over their plan again.You,Naruto,Shino,and Sai were jumping on tree branches behind Kakashi as he lead the way,even thought you were on the outside and Sai was next to you then Naruto then Shino.You saw Sai keep glancing over at Naruto and Shino and Shino looked back and Naruto looked at Sai,you cocked your eyebrow seeing where this was going.

As if a lightbulb turned on Naruto looked over at Sai,"Oh i see i forgot you guys havent met..","Nice of you to finally pick up on that."Shino replied,"Sai this is Shino..","Sai was with the anbu black op,he's a little gloomy and acts like if he's missing something and he's always reading books and he's kinda weird."Sai turned over towards Naruto,"But he draws very well and he knows how to handle himself in a fight."Sai looked a bit touched at that compliment and you smiled at that,Naruto then pointed a thumb at Shino,"And this is Shino well...he's..he's Shino"you just shook your head but atleast Shino's expression didnt change by that statement,"Your Shino Aburame,son of Shibi Aburame,youve proven yourself on numerous missions and combat,search and rescue.A sepcialist in a secret jutsu manipulating parasythic insects..am i right."Sai asked,"Pretty good Sai looks like you did your homework"you replied

Shino then broke his silence,"Youve done your research..i guess that should be expected from a former anbu black op.","I wish i could be one.."you whispered."Great so now we can be a real team since we all know each other."Naruto added.You all jumped in a clearing right next to a different side of the lake,you stood with your hands on your hips,"Okay are guys ready."you all nodded,Kakashi turned looking over at Shino,his chakra was now visible as he was sitting indian style on the ground holding up a hand sign"Shino is everything ready.","Im going to need alittle bit more time.","Alright..Sai we're still gonna use the same plan that Yamato gave you.","Understood...","Oh and remember this isnt the anbu..."Naruto looked confused,"Hey what do you mean by that,"you spoke now,"Anbu members dont do team missions,so they usually have to worry about themselves than others."

Naruto put a finger to his chin,"So is that the reason why you want to be an anbu member."your hands started shaking and you punched him in the arm,"You idiot,thats not it at all if anything its the opposite,ive always dreamt of being a member because yes i would like to go on solo missions because when im with a team i always put them first...and besides when you become Hokage who do you think is going to protect you...me."Naruto stopped rubbing his arm looking at you and then a smile crepted on his face and you just rolled your eyes,then Sai spoke turning all of your attention towards him,"Theres no need to worry,thats the reason why im still here,because depending on your friends is something i believe in now."he said with a close eye smile,"Well thats really sweet Sai..."you commented giving him a hug causing his whole face to turn red and you just simplied laughed.Suddenly happy times were cut short when you heard Kakashi yell 'their here' you all took out your kunais readying yourselves.
