I have already been using Accutane for just a month now and am really enjoying the lack of oil on my own face and scalp. As i stop using Accutane (not anytime soon, but through the future reference), will my normal oil production begin again, or does Accutane have a very lasting effect that prevents your pores from producing a whole lot oil

I could only speak for myself, but this really is my experience:
Ive been in two full courses with Accutane, and gone away 100% while on the drug.
About 12 months (or perhaps a little less) after the first course, I began to acquire some acne in this little face again - never as bad as prior to first round.
In my case, the reply is "yes" - your skin Will begin to produce oil again, perhaps less than before Accutane.
Its logic if you think maybe than it - the inside effects (chapped lips, etc) go away after you stop taking Accutane, so that you also start to produce oil again.
My last full course was at 2003 - this winter I began for getting mild acne on my own back and chest again, that im currtently treating myself with low-dose Accutane purcased online.
This time (after two full courses) the acne in this little chest and back answered the Accutane within just seven days.

My acne was not severely, it was moderate but resitant with other treatments.
I guess it turned out something like this:

Im currently treating myself with low dose Accutane for VERY mild acne on back chest (no derm on the planet would prescribe Tane for your on my small back and chest, I recently dont accept ANY acne after being on Tane).

You must definaitely not use accutane that was admistrated in every other way besides by way of a licensed dermatologist. Accutane contains the small potential for developing serious side effects and people must be monitored with a derm. while taking it. Not to mention it really is illegal.

hey guys does anyone determine if the impact of accutane will continue to work while i stop use. For example, I took my last tane pill yesterday evening and even though I had been on tane I never experienced dry flaky skin just mild chapped lips. Im wondering only can get the flaky dry skin after use. Thanks guy:)

i did pretty mild acne ive been in accutane for 2 and a half months my face has improved MAJORLYY initially approximately a couple weeks it did get alot worse and not to bad.. The tutor said my face would get HORRIFICLY dry, but it wasnt to bad.. But, my lips are horribly chapped and absolutely nothing appears to help(its a little price to pay for any clear face..) Accutane really may be my miracle drug and helps alot!!
