[Please read memo!]
Just to start off, I will tell you a bit about the story. It's called Ara Soushou! Which, if I'm correct translates to Oh Teacher! But I am probably wrong like always...hehe. Ok, now this is a yaoi story about a highschool kid. He runs away from home when things get "hectic" and ends up living with his new biology teacher. (Who, by the way, is extremely hot). Well, as you can see, that will lead to conflict and romance. But everything gets even more confusing when he meets an old friend, who he doesn't remember, but feels strangely drawn too. All that will happen in this quiz and quizzes to come. But that is just the main object my friends! There is much more drama! If you are already turned off by this idea, then by all means, you can leave. I am just creating this for fun. If you are brave enough to stay and read on, then props to you! Enjoy!
PS: This is written in third person. It would be a bit hard to read if you were a girl and I was talking in 2nd person! Tee hee.
::leaving::
Yay!
And this is where I leave you. I always hate first quizzes because nothing ever happens. So they're boring. Sorry if this was a bore to read! T_T Hope you enjoyed it anyway! Ciao for now!
Go to the results! Picture's in the results! Yay! Don't worry its nothing bad. You naughty naughty person...
Masao just stared at the amazingly bright sky. The setting sun cast a luminous glow of pink, orange, and yellow creating colorful patterns on the clouds. The whole scene earlier played over and over in his mind. Had I really just done that? Run away!? I mean, home sucked, but I shouldn't have run away! I have no home, no food. Nothing. He fished around in the inner pocket of his jacket for his wallet, and sighed when he saw only 7,000 yen (about 64 USD).
"Crap," he muttered. Not enough for a hotel room and food.
Numbly, he sat down on a hard, wooden bench in the park. The slowly waning light from the setting sun was now completely faded. Just then, without warning, he started to cry. "Why-me!?" he choked in between sobs. And although the bench was hard, worn, and cold, he fell asleep. Right then and there, with nothing but a thin jacket.
The next morning, he awoke with a start. At first he had completely forgotten where he was, but everything came quickly rushing back to him. Grumpily, he raised himself stiffly from the bench, every bone in his body aching. "Mental note to self...never sleep on a hard bench." he muttered while masaging his neck.
Suddenly he felt a hand on his neck where he had been masaging moments before and a voice from behind said, "Finally, I thought you'd never get up. You might wanna hurry, otherwise you'll be late for school...Maa-chan." There was a hint of a grin in his voice.
Masao stood stock-still almost afraid to move. He had never been called Maa-chan before. At least he didn't think so. Who on earth would call him that?
"I shall be desolate if you don't remeber me..." said the same voice. Masao then whipped around and caught sight of the man, causing himself to gasp.
Cliff-hanger!
Masao Megumi, an ordinary, everyday teenager, with an everyday life. Went to Ayame high, worked at a nearby fast-food restaurant, lived with his spaced-out Mom, and his never-home Dad. Life was normal. It was good. It was bad. But it never changed. We meet our character walking home from another boring day at school.
"Mom! MOM! I'm home!"
His Mom sluggishly rolled off the couch where she had been sleeping. An empty wine glass was in her hand, and she had an imprint on her cheek from the lined pillow.
"Yeah, yeah. Stop yelling dammit. I can hear just fine."
"Awww, Mom. What did you do all day?" Masao asked in agony, staring at the ever-growing pile of dishes in the stainless-steel sink.
"For your information, I've been doing a lot today. I went to the animal shelter and helped out. A damned dog bit me so I left, came home and had a glass of merlow. Then I fell asleep. It was a tiring day."
Masao sighed and put on some yellow rubber gloves to start doing dishes. "So where's Dad?"
"Oh...uh...I dunno hun...probably...out or something. Whatever." Masao sighed a second time. His dad was never home. He said he went to work, but its pretty odd for someone to go work from 3:00 PM to about 1:00AM. Well it is for a journalist anyway. A journalist in his category would normally work from 9 to 5 or something. "Mom...have you ever thought that Dad might not...you know...be doing work?" After he said that, he immediately wished he hadn't. It felt extemely disloyal.
"Hmm? What was that hunny?" his mother asked. She hadn't heard him. "Oh...nevermind."
Just then, the door opened, and in stepped his father. His booming voice rang out, "I'm home!"
"Speak of the devil himself..." Masao muttered. But before he could reply to his father's welcome, he noticed a girl behind him. No...not a girl, a woman. She was short, but thin, with long wavy blonde hair. She wore a tight pink shirt, showing off her petite figure, and a short skirt. Her voice was barely a squeak. "Well, aren't you going to introduce me Taka?" she asked. "Oh...ahem. This is...well, Jen. She's er...my wife..." Masao just stared at his Dad. His Dad! A Dad who's supposed to stay with your mom! But Masao's Mom apparantly didn't care. She was examining a crystal vase on the counter, as if she'd never seen anything like it before. This was it. The final straw. Masao's face started burning, a sure sign he was turning red. He eyes weld up with tears, and he struggled to keep them back. If no one would say anything, then...then he would!
"D-dad..." his voice was nothing but a squeak. "Dad, you-you can't be serious. You have a wife already. her name is Kate. She's right there, by the counter."
"Listen...son, I know this must be awkward, but your Mother and I...well, we just don't love eachother anymore. She just wouldn't give me what I need."
Wouldn't give him what he needs!? Did I hear correct!? Does he mean....
"Son, this must be hard for you-"
He just couldn't listen anymore. That was enough. Hard? This must be hard for him!? His parent's weren't just getting a divorce...his Dad had been cheating. He knew it now. Cheating... "D-Dad...I can't take this...I-I can't. That was it. I-I've put up with this long enough. I just-I don't know. Can't take it. You've been cheating, Mom doesn't care, your wife's some blode bimbo...no offense, and no one cares about me. Well, did they ever? No!" His voice was becoming stronger now, and more confident. "Do you know why I have a job? It's to support this family. Our family! You, me, and Mom! You are out doing what you "need" all day, Mom earns a few bucks working in shelters! I'm the only one with a job here. Do you see a problem!? I do! And for another thing I-I-," at this he couldn't say anything else. His voice stopped, his eyes shut, and his breath got heavy. Suddenly, without warning, his eyes shed tears. Something they hadn't done since he wasn't picked for the basket ball team in 5th grade because he was too short. "G-God," he sobbed. "W-what is w-wrong with you? Do you care about a-anyone but yourself!? I've p-put up with this long enough. I-I'm...I'm leaving." And before he could change his mind, or be persuaded by his parents, he grabbed his jacket off the hook on the wall, and ran past his "step-mother" and into the busy street.
Ooooh! Conflict!
