"Ah, [Name]!" the elder woman exclaimed, clapping her hands together with joy. "That'd be a fine choice, good sir. [Name] is one of our most sought after companions."
"Hmmm?" Arthur hummed teasingly. He placed his index finger and his thumb on his chin, as if in thought, the smirk on his face still apparent. "Is she now?" He watched the woman motion you over, to which you begrudgingly complied. You stopped three feet away from and refused to move any closer. This amused the blonde greatly.
Not one sound was heard from you as the woman told Arthur the price. He paid it without hesitation and his eyes locked with yours. With one gigantic swoop of his hat, he bowed dramatically in front of you, causing all the women in the room to stop, stare, and giggle. "I be in yer hands on th's night, m'lady," he said loudly so everyone could hear.
When he stood up, your eyes were set ablaze as you grabbed the collar of his coat and forced him to follow you down the hallway. You threw him as hard as you could into a room, which only caused Arthur to stumble in his step. He emitted a low chuckle as he turned to you, his head cocked slightly at an angle. As soon as you closed the door, he trapped your small frame between him and the wall. He bent down so that his face was parallel with yours. "Ye dun hafta play nice," he crooned into your ear. "I like it rough,"
The hand on your back slid downwards and stopped before your arse. Arthur felt you shiver when he applied pressure to your lower back, rubbing it in slow, sensual circles. For a moment, he thought he had you weak at the knees, but was proven wrong when you removed his hand. "Keep your filthy hands off me, pirate," you growled as you managed to push him away.
With an amused laughter, Arthur backed off and sat on the right side of the bed. "Th' name's Arthur, wench," he said as he removed his hat, coat, boots and belt, carelessly throwing all of it on the wooden floor. "Cap'n Arthur Kirkland."
Still in the same spot, you clicked your tongue and stared at another object in the room that was not him. "You already know my name," you retorted gruffly.
"Aye, but I wager it sounds pretty comin' from yer own tongue."
You seemed to be in thought before you pushed him down on the bed. He was shocked when you crawled on top of him but gladly placed his hands on your hips. Your delicate hands traced the contours of his chiseled chest through his shirt as you leaned forward, your lips hovering mere centimeters above his. "Oh, cap'n," you breathed. "Flattery will not get me to lay with you."
A mischievous smile appeared as his hands pushed your lower body against his own. "Yer actions say oth'wise," his husky voice said.
"Only to show you what you'll be missing." The next thing he knew, you were on the opposite side of the bed, combing out the tangles in your hair. "Madame will not be happy," you said monotonously. "But I suggest getting your coins back." Arthur bellowed out a laugh, causing you to raise a curious eyebrow at him. "You're laughing?"
"Arrr, I knew t'was all f'r naught."
"Then why choose me?"
Arthur remained quiet before rolling onto his side with his back facing you. "Ye be an interestin' wench," he simply said, closing his eyes. "... And 'tis better t' be in yer company th'n those stinkin' pirates."
You scoffed at him, but it was a strangely pleasant sound to Arthur's ears as he drifted off to sleep.
"You're a strange man, pirate."

The light peeking through your dark curtains was what woke you up the next morning. With a groan, you turned to look away ... and came face to face with a wide-awake British pirate. You almost let out a startled yelp but managed to keep yourself calm. How did a man sleeping in the same bed as you completely slip your mind?
Oh, that's right, you cared not for him.
A grin was shown on his features as he propped himself up on his elbow. "Mornin', love," he greeted, the sunlight reflecting off his jade green eyes.
You grumbled incoherently before tossing the blanket off your body. With a quick glare to him, you smoothed out the wrinkles in your dress as best as you could. "Please be gone when I come back," you said bluntly before exiting out the door. In the hallway you were greeted by other wenches and while they greeted you kindly, you could feel the jealous stares behind their smiles. You inwardly rolled your eyes as you passed them to enter the small kitchen. It's not like anything happened between you two anyway.
After your quick breakfast you returned to your room to change into the day's attire. You wondered if he actually listened to you and left. If you knew him so far as well as you thought you did, he would still be in your room, sitting on your bed with that annoying smirk. Oh, how you disliked being right sometimes. Your eye twitched when you found Arthur casually sitting on your bed. Well, at least he donned his hat, coat, and boots again. "You're still here," you stated with a sigh.
Arthur laughed and stood to his towering height. "'Tis rude t' leave a lady w'thou' sayin' a proper goodbye, ev'n t' a wench such as yerself," he replied.
"... How gentlemanly of you," You rolled your eyes sarcastically and held the door open for him. "Now leave. I need to replace these bed sheets before my next customer arrives."
"Customer?" he asked with an eyebrow raised. "So early in th' mornin'?"
Was that doubt you heard in his tone? A lowly wench you may be, but you still had your pride. You glared at him as you gripped the door handle tighter. "You don't know, cap'n," you started. "But there are plenty of other men who're willing to pay more than what you did to have me lay with them."
He seemed intrigued by that fact. "Oh?" You said nothing more and he took his cue to leave. You accompanied him to the double doors to make sure he was actually leaving. "Well, [Name], I bid ye a farewell," Tipping his hat to you, he smiled. "Ye be seein' me soon,"
"You'll be wastin' your time and money."
"Arrr, t'was not what I be talkin' 'bout."
Arthur left without an explanation, leaving an annoyed you with questions. What was he planning? You rubbed your throbbing temples and pushed those questions to the back of your mind. With him finally out of your hair, you stepped back into the same routine you'd been accustomed to for more than half your life.
It was about mid morning when you returned to your workplace after walking around the town. You noticed that there was a significant lack of pirates lurking about. You assumed they were back on their ship, waiting for their captain to bark orders to set sail. "Ah, [Name]! There you are!" Madame exclaimed, holding out to you an unfamiliar leather bag. That smile on her face ... it was peculiar ... and creepy. "Take this to the ship on the dock. It seems one of our customers forgot it here."
Why was she making you do this? It's not like it was your responsibility to take care of someone else's possessions. Nevertheless, you took the bag, albeit suspiciously, and trekked to the docks. You nearly gaped at how gigantic the ship was. It made all the ships that docked here previously miniscule in size. "Huh, I bet he lets it go to his head," you muttered as you carefully made your way up the shaky wooden platform to the deck of the ship. Once on firm ground, a tall, muscular man greeted you. You pointed to the bag in your hand. "One of your crew members left it behind."
With a nod, the man let you pass and shouted, "Lady [Name] be on board!" You, a lady? Hah! Why did he call you a – wait, that wasn't important. Were they expecting you?
"Arrr! Raise th' sails!" Suddenly men appeared on deck and were up and active, doing their duties without so much of a complaint.
It took a second for you to react and when you did, you were a little frightened and confused. "Wh-what are you talkin' about?!" Then it dawned on you. Gasping, you ran to the railing and watched helplessly as the small port town you lived in drifted farther and farther away from you. Your widened [e/c] eyes turned into a furious glare upon seeing the red-clad pirate captain approaching. Oh, how you wanted to rip that smirk right off his arrogant face. "What the hell do you think you're doin'?! Let me off this ship!"
Arthur ran a gloved hand through his sea-encrusted hair. "Ya don' ge' it, do ye?" he sneered, a deep chuckle erupting from his throat as he pulled your chin toward him. You couldn't stop a shiver from running down your spine after making contact with his dark, piercing emerald gaze.
"Ye be mine now, [Name]."
