::Naruko Uzumaki::(Shippuden) Chapter 53

Naruko's Pov

As I slowly recovered from the shock of my voice I couldn't help but feel gullible. This was a genjustu that I created myself, which means none of this actually happened.


This is why I never use genjustu, I thought to myself. Making the sky go black I create an illusion and trap Madara in my Dark Dome justu. Quickly shrinking the dome I'm not surprised to see him break through it so easily. Even though he was the first person to ever break through my dome, hes Madara. Clone or not he must be taken seriously.


"Since you can't talk anymore, I guess there won't be no more questions or ridiculous comment anymore?" Madara asked. I shook my head and gave him a glare that said "Give-me-all-you-got."


"All right then," he said "Let me show you what I'm capable of." Raising both of his hands the once purple sky now turns pitch black with a familiar design behind him. The Mangekyou Sharingan "Lets see how strong your Sharingan is. Lets see your true power! Eight Tails!" Smirking to myself I release the genjustu and remove the katana that was stabbed through me to try and then slice Madara, but when I went to do so he was gone.


"What the-?" I whispered to myself, wondering where he could've gone "Heh, at least I got my voice back." I said while rubbing my neck softly in the place where I was hit with the Chidori. Feeling pain in my stomach I see a blood dripping out from my stomach. Thank goodness I wasn't hit in any vital areas or else this wound would've been worse. Healing my wound, I stop the bleeding and keep my eyes peeled for where his clone could be. Then...my mouth dropped.


"What the....Where the heck am I now?"


"Your in my genjustu now," Madara says emphasizing the word my. Without saying anything else I feel my heart drop. Suddenly I feel my arms tied together as well as my legs with what can only be described at some kind of black chakra substance. Struggling to get out I attempt to make a hand sign since they were together but I couldn't. They were to tight for me to even bend a finger.


"You should know by now that looking into the eyes of the Sharingan is a bad move. Didn't Itachi teach you that?" Madara asks "Tsk, tsk. What a naughty girl. Don't worry, it'll all be over soon." My spine shivers, this felt all to familiar from when I was trapped in that hideous hideout of Orochimaru's. Suddenly, my thoughts are interrupted when a storm of needles charge at my way. Feeling each and everyone of them enter my body within seconds I want it to stop. I want it to stop badly. But it doesn't, it only gets worse, soon kunais are mixed in along with shurikens which causes the pain to escalate. Soon I start to scream in bloody pain.


"This will all be over soon...its only genjustu," I whisper to myself.


"Telling yourself its only genjustu won't help you," Madara states as he appeared in front of me "I wonder what would happen I played around with that seal of yours..." Digging his fingers through the seal hard I just wanted to pass out then and there. Here in this world a month can pass by and not even a second would pass in the real world...


Daichi's Pov-


Vision fuzzy, air smoky. Where was I? Flinching my eyes open it takes me a minuet to adjust to the light. And then, it struck me. My cover was blown and Naruko was waiting there for an answer.


"Are you alright?" she asked. I nodded and quickly looked away feeling guilty as ever.


"I'm sor-"


"Sorry doesn't answer my question," I was caught off guard when she suddenly snapped at me. Nodding my head my body then goes into shock when Naruko starts hugging me "Thats good. I was worried." Then, a gasp escapes from Naruko.


"Whats wrong?" I asked.


"I got to go!" she shouted as she dashed right on up.


"What?! Wait! Naruko!" I called out. Reaching out for her I suddenly tripped her and caused her to fall...and when she fell, she disappeared "A shadow clone?!" It was then that I knew Naruko was in serious trouble. If that was her clone then....where was the real her? "Naruko!!" I shouted out as I began my frantic search for her.


Sakura's Pov-


"Lady Tsunade! Lady Tsunade!!!" I cried at the top of my lungs. Running after her I was then stopped as he fist came but one inch away from my face.


"Sakura...this is my fight. Now do as I say and stay off the battle field. Your in absolute no condition to fight at all."


Shaking my head I feel anger slightly boiling up inside of me "I'm sorry but I can't follow those orders. The village can't afford to lose you again!"[1] Suddenly clashes of blades were heard together from Dan's katana and Lady Tsunade's kunai knife.


"Leave! This is the last time I'm going to repeat myself!" Before I could do anything else I feel my feet being swept up from the ground and away from my teacher.


"N-naruto?!" I gasped seeing how he was the one to pick me up "What are you doing?! Lady Tsunade's in danger! Take me back now!" Naruto ignored me, now my anger was rising at a dangerous rate "Naruto!!"


"Sakura. Listen to me. You need to get to a safe place fast." he spoke in a calm serious voice.


"Naruto do you hear yourself talking! Thats the Hokage you just left behind and-" Before I could finish the most terrifying thing had just occurred. The Hokage Monument had just fallen "No..." Soon he stopped running and let me down. Staring down at my feet I'm in complete utter shock.


"Shizune and the others are in the basement of the Academy. Head there as soon as possible okay. I'll be back. I promise." As he slowly turned his back I couldn't help but then feel panicked.


"Wait!" I shouted as I yanked his arm back "Please don't die..."


"Is that all?" he asked with a chuckle "Quit worrying. By the end of this battle Naruko and Sasuke will be back and then everything will go back to the way it used to be, just like I promised."[2] Grabbing his face I smash my lips onto his because god forbid this may be the last time I'll ever get the chance to.


"I love you..." I whispered as I felt my heart pouring out every emotion out all at once. Naruto smiles as he says it back which makes me feel as happy as ever...but once he left, those feelings came crashing down.


Naruto's Pov-


"Sakura..." I whispered as I headed straight to what once was the Hokage Monument "I promise I'll be back." Once I reached the remains of the historic sight I saw two bodies standing still, as if time had stopped. Sprinting rapidly I'm surprised to see none other than Naruko and Madara "Naruko!" I called out. Kicking the bastard Madara in the face I then turn around to see Naruko on her knees panting "Naruko! Are you okay? What happened?" Without getting an answer I started to get worried. What was going on? Turning my back to see what happened to Madara I look to see only logs. Naruko must've been fighting a shadow clone. While turning back to Naruko and bending down, I ask her if theres anything I can do. Slowly nodding her head she slowly grabs my arm and uses her other free hand to heal her head?


Now I get it, shes using some of my chakra to heal herself.


"T-thank you..." she stutters.


"What happened to you?" I asked, demanding an answer.


"Madara...he used the Mangekyo Sharingan....on me," she panted "I have to admit...even though, he was a clone...he was a tough opponent."


"But your alright, right?"


"Yeah. Thank you for asking." she says as she throws herself over to me for a bear hug "I missed you brother."


"I missed you too." I reply back. Soon it began to rain. But none of us moved. We were both caught up in the moment that we almost forgot there was a war going on right in front of us. My sister...the one and only person who was there for me from the very beginning...until-


"Naruko!...Naruko!"


"Huh?" I wondered. His voice sounded vaguely familiar "Hey! I remember you! Your that Daicha kid!"


"Its not Daicha! Its-"


"Minato," Naruko interrupts.


"Minato? Wait, your telling me hes been lying all this time!" I shouted feeling betrayed. And all this time I thought was our friend!


"He had no choice Naruto. Like Sai's mission from before, Minato had to hide his identity. Sort of."


"Ooooh, I get it." Man was that a lie. I was blown down confused.


Naruko's Pov-


I knew explaining everything to Naruto would be to much. Giving Minato the don't-worry look I glance back at Naruto and say: "Naruto. Are you ready to bring back Sasuke?"


Naruto grew a smile on his face "You bet!"


"In that case, you'll need to head to the Final Valley. The place you and Sasuke previously fought years ago."


"What do you mean by 'you'? Your not going?"


"This is your battle Naruto. Its time for you to finish what you started. Its time for you to fulfill that promise you made to Sakura."


"Its not just a promise for Sakura. Its a promise for Team 7..." he says with a smirk "So what will you guys be doing?"


"Minato and I will find a way to defeat Madara and the others. As soon as were done we'll catch up with you."


"Right. Good luck!"


"Idiot, I should be the one saying that to you." I chuckled.


"Yeah, see ya!" He says before taking off.


"Naruko..."Minato began.


"Yeah?"


"Do you really want to bring back Sasuke to the village?"


"....Well," I sighed "I'll admit. I still care about him, but...I'm just not sure anymore. What ever happens, happens...right?"


"Yeah, your right."


"But what about you?" I asked.


"What do you mean?"


"Hes your father Minato. And...as your mother, I want whats best for you. Would you want him to come back?" Resting both of my hands onto his shoulders I wait for an answer patently. After waiting another minuet, I knew he couldn't answer. The way he was grinding his teeth and unsure look was enough to say "I understand. Come one, we need to get going."


"Right."


I knew it, Naruto knew it. Everyone knew. That after today, the world would be a completely different place. Weather for the bad or good many will die for the sake of change. And at the end of the day everyone will have shared some responsibility of its change.


"Lets show them what were made of!"

[1]- For those of you who don't know Tsunade went into a coma. Thats what Sakura meant by "The village can't afford to lose you again."


[2]- Remember the promise Naruto made to Sakura? The one where he said he would bring Sasuke back to the village.
