Chapter Three: Banora Village

I stared at the boy in front of me, sitting down in front of me watching every move I made. My green hues scanned around as I touched another Keyblade but it rid to dust, I pulled my hand back and my eyes lingered back to the boys’ gaze, I could feel him smirk.

“Why do you keep staring at me like that?” I finally asked, the boy chuckled and continued sitting on his rock. “Well?”

“That would be none of your business, girly,” the boy said, sounding oddly familiar somehow. But I never met this boy before in my life! “Why would the master choose you to wield this ultimate weapon is beyond me,”

“Ultimate weapon, what do you mean!?”

The boy chuckled and I woke up,

Bella stopped and froze, she knew this place.

All to well.

Sora, Donald and Goofy all stopped walking and looked back at Bella’s worried and shocked face. Zack was also shocked at where they were, biting her lip gently Bella quietly walked up to the trees, and grabbed one of the apples.

“It’s properly known as “DumbApples”. Once a year you could hand pick these off trees. The people of my village are quite fond of them and they named it the DumbApple. We used to go into farm and take a couple to eat.”

“Those are. . .”

“Yeah. . .” Bella nodded quietly taking a bite. The flavorful juices slid down her throat gently and she smiled softly. “It’s been a long time since I came back to this place. Never thought we would end up in a place like this. . .”

“Me either.” Zack told her.

“What are you guys talking about?” Donald asked angrily, tapping his foot against the ground very hard.

Zack laughed standing on Bella’s shoulder fully turning around. Kilala walked by him and he jumped down on her back as she continued walking. Bella continued looking at the trees, seeing the leaves gently fall off.

“What is that?”

“A DumbApple. My father used to tell me and Zack about them when we were on our way here one day for a mission.” Bella said taking another bite.

“I thought you never knew your father.”

“I considered him more of a father, Zack took me-” Bella stopped when she heard a scream in the distance, dropping the Apple, she ran up there with Kilala, Sora and the other two and they saw Heartless and Unversed surrounding the village. “Here too!”

Bella grabbed her Gunblade and charged in there. Sora called out her name as she jumped in the air, slicing one of the Heartless away from the people, the people ran off after she cleared a pathway and Bella stood up looking around seeing more Heartless and Unversed heading their way, Bella put her Gunblade in front of her and she yelled out;

“Gunner Form!”

She changed into her Gunner Form and held a different style Gunblade and she began shooting quickly at them. When they finally got it all done, Bella changed back and put her Gunblade behind her, and walked to a certain house, opening the door seeing dust surrounding it. Kilala followed her in and Kilala looked around with Zack on her back, Zack pulled on Kilala’s fur and she stopped wondering what he was doing. Zack jumped on the counter grabbing a piece of paper.

“What do you got there, Zack?” asked Sora walking behind Zack and stopped. Looking at the letter that was addressed too. . .

“Bella?”

“What is it?” asked Bella snapping the paper away from his hands and she began reading it.

“There is no hate, only joy
For you are beloved by the goddess
Hero of the dawn, Healer of worlds

Dreams of the morrow hath the shattered soul
Pride is lost
Wings stripped away, the end is nigh.

I know where you hide, my Little Butterfly, and do not worry,

I will come and get you. When you complete these missions,

‘It. . . It can’t be!’ Bella gasped in her head. ‘Not him. . .’

“Bella?”

“Don’t worry about it, it’s nothing important.” Bella said shaking her head crumpling the paper in her hand and stuffed in her pocket. She turned and walked outside. “We need to head to the Warehouse to see what’s going on there, if we can determine what’s there, then we should be out of here soon.”

“She is in a mood.” Zack sighed quietly jumping on Kilala’s back as Kilala followed her with a curt nod. Kilala jumped behind her and followed.

“Something’s bother Bella that she isn’t tellin’ us.” Goofy stated with a small nod. Sora and Donald nodded as well. “I wonder what it is. . .?”

“Must be from the letter that she read.” Sora guessed. “It’s the only thing I can think of.”

Bella continued walking with Kilala behind her, they walked towards the mountain seeing men walking around, leaning down on the grounf she analyzed the situation. Sora came up behind her and leaned down whispering to her.

“What is this place?”

“Banora’s Warehouse, I don’t know why people would still be here guarding this place.” Bella told him. “I sense Heartless in there, that’s for sure.” She turned to Kilala and Zack, Kilala got the plan and jumped high into the air flying off. “I’ll set off the distraction while you and the other two go get in the Warehouse, I’ll meet you in there.”

Bella jumped from the sky and onto the ground sliding down, seeing Kilala pouncing on the Heartless that were in her way, pulling out her Magnum Guns from the Holsters behind her, she skidded on the ground quickly shooting at the Heartless with great precision. When she continued shooting, people came out and she kicked one man away from her and bent backwards shooting a man behind her. Finally after clearing the way, Kilala looked around for the boys and saw they were waving their way. Bella nodded following Kilala.

“Why are we in the Warehouse?” Donald asked annoyed as they walked down the steps. Bella sighed turning to him.

“I believe there is something going on downstairs.” Bella explained. . . Again! “If my hunch is correct, we should find something interesting.” Bella turned and something caught her eye, she walked to it and picked up the paper and began reading it.

“Much time has passed since I left the home of my youth behind, and in the myriad worlds I have visited, I have gained much knowledge. On these pages, I intend to record a portion of that knowledge, and put the course of my life to paper.

Upon reflection, my life underwent the most considerable sea-change when I arrived at that place. Yes, it began when I found a Master, and another I would later call my brother—when I found a new home.

Then there was the Keyblade. For what purpose was it begotten, and by whom? During my training as one of its wielders, the precepts offered a clear answer: the Keyblade existed so that we who watched over the light could protect the world from the shadows.

But was that the TRUE answer? Could there not be more to it than that? My heart sought knowledge, and so I sometimes visited other worlds—though such travel was forbidden unless duty required—and found what my heart sought.

Xehanort’s Report 1.”

“Xehanort. . .”

“What is that?” Goofy and Zack asked Bella.

“One of Xehanort’s Reports.” Bella replied. “How did it get back here?”

“Who knows, let’s continue on.”

“Yeah.” Bella nods and follows him to the Elevator and they went down, wondering what they were expecting.

When the doors opened, Bella kept the grip on her two guns and ran out seeing nothing in particular, when she continued walking keeping the guns in her hands as Kilala followed her. Zack kept his eye out and he gasped when something came from above.

“Chibi!”

Bella gasped being slammed onto the ground as she was cut in the right arm, she hissed and pain aiming her left arm up she shot the thing in the face jumping upwards and landed on her knees and began looking around for more.

“What was that?”

Bella stood up and walked to it bending down moving the hair from it’s face and she backed off with a gasp quickly landing on her ass, trembling in fear. Sora blinked wondering what got her so scared and when she grabbed her side gently and gripped her shirt it made him worry.

“Bella?”

“I-It can’t be. . .!!!” Bella said grabbing her head tightly. “Not him. . . Anyone but him!”

“Bella. . .?”

“We have to get out of here, now!” Bella shouted getting up quickly grabbing Sora’s arm. “Please, you haveb to trust me on this-”

“Chibi! They’re here!!” shouted Zack and Bella gasped turning around seeing them surrounding the group. Kilala growled loudly and hair stood on her back, Bella gripped her guns tightly in her hands taking in a deep breath looking around.

“What are they?”

‘I have to lie to them, I can’t tell them they’re his copies.’ Bella thought quietly and shrugged putting her guns in front of her.

Bella bent down lightly and when one of them attacked her, she jumped in the air landing on it’s head and flipped over till she was upside down whilst shooting at them quickly. The thing dodged quickly jumping in the air attacking her, pressing her foot against its face and did a back-flip quickly landing on the ground and shot more bullets at it, Bella glanced back seeing one about to attack her from behind. Kilala roared and attacked it taking off its head seeing blood fall out. Bella smirked kicking one away and shot at it, putting her guns out and called out.

“Theif form!”

Bella changed and began wearing a yellow string bikini and an olive green mini-skirt, carrying two pouches at her waist and ruffle sleeves over each arm as arm guards. A long yellow and red scarf hangs loosely around her. She now had two dagger like blades in her hands and charged at them.

Jumping high into the air, she slammed herself onto the enemies and kicked one away from her ignoring the tickling of her hair on her face, she bent far to the ground where her knees touched her chest and she jumped high into the air again and slammed her Claw Daggers into an enemy who was hiding above them.

Sora slashed another one, looking back seeing Bella landing on the ground looking around for more enemies. Letting out a breath, the young girl looked back at Sora who continued staring at her, she blinked at him giving him a ‘what’ look. Sora looked away with some red appearing on his face and he continued slashing the enemies.

Bella rolled her eyes and shook her head and saw one heading her way quickly, staggering back with swift movements of her feet, Bella bent down when it threw a punch at her face and she kicked him in the face and saw Unversed heading their way. Kilala roared as flames escaped her mouth hitting the Unversed, when they screamed in pain when they disappeared, Kilala landed by Bella’s side and growled loudly. Bella wondered why the Unversed and Heartless were appearing now, Bella glanced over seeing someone disappearing into the shadows.

“Dammit!” shouted Bella ready to run over there but Heartless blocked her from going over there. “I will find you! Make no mistake!”

After defeating the Heartless and Unversed, Bella ran off still in Thief form. Kilala, having a feeling she knew what was going on, followed her quickly. Bella jumped high into the air landing on the wall and jumped onto another wall and landed on the floor and continued running. When she got back to the village, the man smirked and Kilala growled loudly roaring in the process.

“I don’t see your friends around, my Little Butterfly. Are you game?”

Bella covered her face when a light shined brightly in her eyes, when she opened them, she saw dust surrounding her, Sora, Donald, and Goofy all ran up behind her and gasped simultaneously. Biting her lip, Zack looked up seeing the same Bahamut that attacked him and Bella quickly turned to the boys and said.

“Let me handle this.”

Sora stared at her as she tossed her Claw Daggers in the air and cupped her hands in front of her chest and her Purity Chalice appeared between her hands, she took a deep breath and her eyes turned a white color whilst yelling.

“Floral Fallal!”

She changed into a Sea Hibiscus and she began staring down at the enemy.

‘It’s been awhile since I used this form, I don’t know how long I can last.’ Bella thought biting her lip. ‘If I can last awhile, then I can definitely win!’

Bella moved her left hand and casted without speaking Stickly Honey on Bahamut, but it didn’t have any effect on it. Bahamut roared and jumped high into the air and Bella gasped throwing her hand out quickly casting Hard Leaves on herself and her body and he hit it and back-flipped away from her. Bella let out a soft sigh and moved her left hand again quickly and casted Left Stigma at Bahamut and he flew back and hit a rock hard, Bella, feeling drained, changed back to her neutral form and she panted. She leaned up on her elbows and looked up seeing Bahamut charging up the Mega Flare and Bella gasped.

“I have to think of something!” Bella whispered closing her eyes tightly trying to think. “If he unleashes that on us, we’re dead!”

She staggered to get up and she put her hands out calling out as the Crescent Moon glowed brightly.

“Protectra!”

A magic shell appeared around her and her friends, protecting them from the Mega Flare. Bella kept her hands up to keep it from hitting them, but she heard a crack and she knew it was breaking through. Bella continued concentrating on the shell, Bella closed one eye and then when it stopped, Bella put down the Shell and stood up quickly pulling out her two guns, she took her arm and wiped her face, spreading more of the dirt around herself and she jumped high into the air and began shooting at it again.

Bahamut cried out and began flying around them and then up in the air again, Bella gasped and put her guns below her quickly shouting out;

“Princess form!”

Changing into the blond hair princess, she continued flying up there with her wings flapping behind her quickly, the blond hair quickly flowed behind her as she summoned her two wolves and they latched onto Bahamut’s arms dragging him down to the Princess, the Princess yelled out slashing to Keyblade in it’s shoulder and floated upwards as they continued dragging it down.

“Sora, Donald, Goofy!” Kiki called out loudly as the dust surrounding them. “Take him out!”

After that, she felt a new power enter her body when she landed on the ground and changed back into Bella, she smiled when she saw Sora and the others grinning at her. Bella tossed her hand up in the air and said.

“Cura!”

And with that, she healed everyone, walking out of the place, she stopped at the Banora Tree’s and touched the apple she let fall to the ground. She turned around and her eyes quickly widen when she thought she saw someone she really didn’t want to see, but with a blink of an eye it was gone.

‘I must be imagining him. He can’t be back can he?’ Bella thought whilst sighing quickly. ‘This is so unnerving. . .’

“Bella! Are you coming?!”

“Yeah, I’m coming. . .!” Bella called back to Sora as she grabbed another apple, with a curt bow she ran off.
