Buried: A Black Butler Fanfiction (Chapter Fifteen: Shinigami)

I-I'm not even going to try to list off all the people who messaged me on my story. I never expected to have so many loyal viewers. Thank you so much!

Chapter Fifteen: Shinigami?

I woke up to screaming.

The sound lashed out through the quiet and pierced my ears. I sat up in surprise, forgetting I was in a coffin, and hitting my head.

I swore under my breath, and opened the lid.

Ciel and Sebastian were there, and so was Grell. I didn’t see Undertaker, though.

At first I thought Grell was Undertaker, but Grell was just wearing his clothes.

Which was weird.

“What is the meaning of this?” Ciel shouted. “Where is Undertaker?”

Grell sighed and opened up a large jar where Undertaker stored salt.

My jaw dropped when I saw Undertaker was buried inside, only his head visible.

This made me mad.

(Author’s Note: I love Grell, but Rayne has to go all phyco on him. Don't worry, they make up ^^)

“Grell Sutcliff!” I shouted.

Everyone jumped and looked at me.

“What the (insert swear word of choice here) is wrong with you? Do you want him to shrivel up like a mummy? And why the hell are you wearing his clothes? Wouldn’t you have to…” I shuddered, and continued “Grell, I'm going to hurt you so much that your hair won’t be the only thing red!” I shouted, scaring the glasses off of him.

“It’s quite all right, Rayne. In fact, having all of the moisture sucked out of my body is a rather pleasant feeling.”

My eye twitched, and then I continued to scold Grell. “And what were you doing here in the first place?”

“I… well…”

I didn’t let him finish. Instead I turned to Ciel and Sebastian, whom both looked amused.

“Any luck finding Lady Elizabeth yet?”

“Yes, we’ve found her. You would not believe what we had to go through to get her.”

“That’s good. So what brings you here?”

Sebastian coughed. “We have a preposition for you, Undertaker. We need your job as a distraction to sneak into a cult room. The Queen wants it eliminated.”

Undertaker paused licking the salt and said, “Certainly. You up for it, Rayne?”

I nodded. “Sure.”

“Excellent.” Ciel said.

(At the Cult entrance)

“Ello love.” Undertaker said to the lady at the entrance. “I was told to deliver these coffins here.”

The lady blinked, and smiled. “Certainly. You are welcome. And your friends hiding in the bushes are welcome too.”

Undertaker kept smiling. “Oh that’s quite all right. Me and my assistant will be on our way. Those two are the only ones with business here.”

We got back in the carriage and drove off. “Well that was easy.” I said.

(These chapters keep getting shorter… sorry! Rate and message! You should know the drill by now, but I’m reminding you because the comments from my viewers are the only things in this world that bring me joy *tear*. Okay… that was a bit dramatic… See you in a week… hopefully)
