A Tattered Promise ♦Anime Cross over♦♀Uchiha Itachi♂ ♥Chapter Five: The fear of him

"Okay here is a good stop to camp to tonight" Yamato says turning round so he faces us, "guys step back" i warn familiar with the jutsu, they nod and stand near me and Yoshi, i place my arms over my face and Yoshi does the same looking really cute. Word starts shotting out the ground making bits of the ground hit us,as it stops i remove my arms and a huge wooden house has taken place i the clearing, "Captain Yamato i wouldn't really call this camping" Sakura says twitching her eye slightly i giggle.

....

As everyone has perpared for the night by taking shoes off and soluting out bags i use my camping hob and cooking dinner.

(Yeah a camping hob needs electricity but this one doesn't, it's Naruto after all :p, it runs on a little motor shaped like a....box)

"Hmm smells good what we having?" "a hot pot, i found some veggies growing on the way here, there's also a pond so i got some fish" "no meat?" Naruto whimpers "hai there's meat i caught some wild boar and chicken" Naruto licks his lips, "so thats where you disappeared to Ume chan" Yamato says smiling, i nod "hai gomensai again i knew we weren't staying in a hotspring again so i thought i'd make dinner" i place more stuff into the hot pot as it slowly boils, "huh no rice?" "there's rice in the other pot" i answer Sakura as she sits next to me, "it sure does smell good" i smile and blush and sparkle "thanks i try my best you know" Sakura pulls a face= ¬_¬. "Ume sensei?" "hmm?" "if we find Sas- No when we find Sasuke do you think he'll come back?" i freeze at Sakuras question and drop my head "i don't know it's been 3 years Sakura he probably's been brain washed by Orochimaru already so i guess we'll have to see" i notice Naruto's eyes on me, he knew that was a possiblity but choose not to think about that, "i see you think so too.." i look at Sakura over my shoulder i smile warmingly "i don't worry if he still thinks of you as friends i don't see why he wouldn't come back" my inner self frowns as i lie to Sakura 'i can't tell them i didn't try and stop Sasuke they wouldn't understand' I turn back to the hot pot and Rice, "okay Rice is done, Sakura chan theres a bowl shape black putch" she nods and moves over to my bag, "this it Ume sensei?" i look over "Hai arigotu" i take it and cancel the sealing jutsu placed on it revealing some bowls, "woah" i laugh awkwardly and rub the back of my head "okay food's up guys!" i cheer and dish up the rice and hot pot. After Dinner i clean up with Sai's help, "am i doing it right?" i look at him and smile "hai thats fine" i take the dishes off him and reseal them and we return to the house, "yo" i greet as me and Sai enter the room together, "good now we're all here i need everyone to come here for a moment and Sakura there something I'd like you to tell me" "um sure what about?" Sakura turns away from the window "it's about Sasori of Akatsuki" i blink and stare at Yamato from the corner of my eye, 'Akatsuki...Itachi' i turn my eyes back to my bag, "I got Sasori's files from the Sand as a starter but tell me about his behaviour, characteristics and personality" i stop what im doing, "you're the only one you's seen him" "Why are you asking this?" Naruto interrupts "Spy from Akatsuki in Orochimaru's rank will arrive at Tenchi bridge and expecting Sasori Naruto" i explain "he may see through it right away but our best option is for me to transform into Sasori and approach the Akatsuki spy" i blink as i stop putting stuff away, "being a spy has it's risk too so he most likely will be on his guard" Sai informs, "Sai's right what if Sasori was a spy for Orochimaru and wanted us to go to tenchi bridge" i say concerned, "just in case this is a trap set by Akatsuki or Orochimaru, i will go ahead alone first you four will be on stand by awaiting my signal" i frown. "Given that Yuura from the sand was an Akatsuki spy as he said when he was about to die i doubt Sasori was lying" Sakura points out, "still...that spy he must be extremely skillful" Sai also points out, "what if Orochimaru shows up?" i question shaking, "Ume sensei" Sakura holds me "what's the matter?" Yamato asks concerned, "back when chunin exams started Orochimaru and Amaya had intruded the village and when Ume went to find Amaya in the survival area Orochimaru did something thats all" Sakura explain stroking my hair, "that could be problem for us cause im placing you the other side of the bridge to pursuit Orochimaru in case he shows up" i freak out and tug my hair hard, "you can't do that can't you see what's it's doing to hair?!" Sakura yells, Yoshi wakes up from the corner and walks over to me and nuzzles my chest, i smile and calm down "gomen Sakura but Ume should know a shinobi will put the mission before the emotion" i sniff and hug Yoshi's head "But-" "it's fine Sakura i can handle it" "Ume sensei.." she nods.

Next day:

I start perparing my area on the other side of the bridge, everyone was in teams, Naruto and Sai, Sakura and Yamato and me and Yoshi so now change with me. I turn and watch Sai and Naruto train, i raise an eye brow as i spot Sai somewhere else, i do some hand signs and activate my Akkigan, i giggle as Naruto has had to make himself a Sai with clone jutsu. As they finishes train i sense a chakra not far from where i was sitting, i get up "Yoshi stay" he drops his head but follows the order, "Ume chan what's wrong?" "shh, someone's there i'll check it out you guys don't worry" i smile sweetly and get blushes back. I walk through the forest and jump down a few rocks to a river, i sign as i lose the chakra, i turn round and widen my eyes as someone steals a kiss, i blush and grip their shoulders and raise a foot and enjoy. As we part i look up slightly, "Ita-" he places his hand over my lips and pushes me into his chest and drags me into the bushes, "urgh Itachi came this way right un?" "um senpai maybe we should go ahead?" "shut it Tobi hmm, oh way lets go ahead he'll be the one in trouble with Pein sama" as the two Akatsuki members leave Itachi removes his hand and takes another kiss from me, i blush insanly and roll my eyes back then close them, i huff slightly as we part "what's going on Itachi kun?" he strokes my face and tries to avoid the question by kissing my neck, "Itachi stop answer me" i push him away, he looks shocked at me, "i can't tell you gomen" i lower my eyes "why are you here?" "a mission for Akatsuki thats all-" "is it about Sasori's spy?" i ask getting a shocked reaction, "what? how?" "the same reason im here" i poke my fingers together, "Sasori told Sakura about it before he died" he signs and rubs the space inbetween his eyes "stupid leaf.." he groans, i take it as insult as im wearing my leaf head band on my waist, "i should go" i point back to the area the team was and i turn back to walk towards the rocks. As i climb back up i hear what sounded like metal hitting the ground and dragging, i gulp and jump on each rock quickly so i reach the top, i hide behind a tree and peep as i watch two more Akatsuki members walk by, as i lose sight of them i sign and turn to face the front, i scream as a wild rabbit wilds out, i sign "just a rabbit..wait" i look behind me 'did they hear me?' "what are you looking at?" a voice says "Akatsuki members just walk past im seeing if they heard my sc-c-cream" i shiver as i turn back see the Akatsuki members, "h-hi?" the one a sliver hair comb back smirks and pushes his scythe to my neck, my eye twitchs and my mouth quithers "hi~" "Hidan! She has no buisness with us" i sign as the scythe is remove, "Itachi what do you care for this woman for?" Itachi looks at me then back at Hidan, "oh i see she's the chick Kisame told us about ahahaha!" the guy i learnt to be Hidan chuckles, "Pein sama won't like this at all" "you will not tell him!" i shiver from Itachi's harsh tone, i stand up and walk back. I walk into something i lean back and shiver as the tall masked Akatsuki member glares at me "h-hello" i stutter raising a hand, i walk back quick then hit something else "hey you guys we need to keep moving- hey watch where you're going! Un" i look up at the blonde, i stare straight at him fora while 'he's kinda cute' his goes birhgt pink "stop it" i blink out of my daze "oh gomen" Itachi appears next to e waving his hand "um hey what about me?" i look at him "oh right yeah gomen he's cute looks like a girl" "HEY!" the blond sheirks, Hidan laughs, i look back and step slowly each time "bye!" i wave and run off.

Akatsuki-

"She you're woman Itachi?" Hidan mocks "shut it she's not mine and you can't have her to toy with got it" Itachi scolds walking ahead, "Itachi what is she to you then?" for once Hidan sounded serious, "i don't think it's any of your bus-" "that was the juubu Ookami jinchuriki" the masked character informs, "oh really i see the Nakagawa girl, Amaya's younger sister" Hidan's smirk returns to his face, "an old lve of your Itachi?" Hidan mocks laughing but Itachi had already walks to far ahead he was out of site.

Ume-

I huff and lean on a tree, "what was it?" i look up "nothing just a rabbit" i say and sit next to Yoshi, "thats good well it'll be dark soon lets go and make camp" i grab my bag and walk with Yoshi across the bridge.

...

I slip into my sleeping bag as everyone perpares to sleep, "Ume sensei..." i look at Naruto as he whispers to me and sits next to me, "hai Naruto kun" "why did you go after Itachi? you could have left him you know" "i know" "so why?" "Chika Uchiha was my dearest friend, the night of the masscre Itachi took her life so i went after him just to see why he did it thats all" Naruto's head drops "and did you?" "hai, orders" i say then go to sleep.

Sleeping:

"How much longer will you hide the truth girl!" i glare at cage, "shut your m-" "SILENCE!" i frinch as the chained wolf in the cage growls, "a shinobi doesn't put their emotions first!" it smirks, "you're putting love for that boy before the truth thinking you're stopping from hurting him but him knowing you've been hiding something will hurt him much more then knowing you never stoped his so called 'friend'" i lower my eyes, "you know im right girl! He will hate you!" i bite my bottom lip, "it will be interesting though if the nine tails comes out and plays, it's been years since i've seen that jerk of a beast!" it laughs and causing me to shiver and fall back, it's claw rips through a space inbetween the bars, it stops and i see seals on it's chains pulling it back and pinning it to the ground, "DAMN IT!" i sniff as my tears let go, "the nine tailes doesn't have to deal with this nor that fucking ox or octopus what ever the fuck he is!" i move back as it curses other bijuus.

I sit up huffing, i wipe my face with the back of my hand, i gulp. "i can't tell him..." i whisper as i look over at sleeping Naruto, i smile at his sweet face. I sign then take a look at my watch in my bag, "2am seriously" i shake my head and get dressed in a lose t-shirt and a skirt ending just above the knees, i quickly write a note in case someone wakes up im not back. I strap a kunai pack to my thigh and slit my skirt slightly so i could reach it. I creep out the door then the wooden house and sign as im out, i turn towards the bridge, i stand in the middle and close my eyes and take a big breathe in. "This feels great" i hum and push some stray hair behind my ear, i giggle and spin knocking the hair back next to my cheek. I walk forward slightly then do some hand signs, 'Akkigan:Kyūkyoku no rēdā' i open my eyes and instead of Akkigan with one wheel and three claws there are two wheels in each, four claws in one eyes and five in another. I look in a 360 mile radius, i stop and pinpoint a certain person, my arms drop and i just watch "he's grown up alot" a tear leaves my eye with five claws and the Akkigan cancels it self, i shake my head and start rnnign toward my location.

I walk when i have 4 feet left to walk, i stop and hold on to a tree and walk from a cliff as he trains his chidori (guessed it- Sasuke or Kakashi or another oc?), I smile as he looked more like his mother, his bangs had grown quite abit roughly framing his cheeks, i blink as i open my eyes a chidori senbon needle flys past me cutting my cheek, "who's there?!" i shiver at his harsh tone of voice but i shake it off and step out into the moon light. "Ume..." i smile brightly "you have no business here sp leave" i twitch at his tone "it's been a while Ume i missed how have you been? oh thanks for asking Sasuke kun i missed you too, i've been fine" i role play and glare, he smiles "you haven't changed" i giggle "but really leave if you have no business here" i sign and jump down to him "but i do have business...with you" i walk over to him and push his head into my chest hugging him. I feel his arms wrap round me gently, "i've missed this...the embrace" i smile sweetly then nuzzle into his hair and hold him tighter " me to, i lower us down as we sit. I feel Sasuke release his grip, i watch him lay on my lap , "im tired..." i start stroking his hair, "you grown at well Sasuke kun" he smiles "really? even if it met betraying Konoha, my friends?" i frown "i met looks baka" he chuckles, "my sensei shouldn't be saying things like that to her ex student now" i smile as he mocks me, "shut up" i say pinching his cheek, he knocks my hand away "im not a child anymore Ume" i smile "i know" his eye open, "you're here with team 7 im guessing?" i look shocked at his question, "hai but it's team Kakashi now, our mission is to meet an Akatsuki in planted to work under Orochimaru then find Orochimaru's hide out and take you back Konoha" he laughs slightly and closes his eyes again, "you of all people Ume know i joined Orochimaru in my own accord, he did not kidnap my or force to do anything" i nod and frown "i know but Naruto doesn't believe that-" "you haven't told him that you didn't try to stop me" he opens his eyes and rolls over so he faces up at me, i look down so my frigde covers my eyes slightly "no" "you're afriad his trust and respect for you will go if you tell him?" i nod and lower my head more so my eyes are completely covered "y-yeah" i stutter as my tears go, Sasuke wipes them away as they hit his face, "i knew it wouldn't help if i tired to stop you, you would still leave no matter what it took, you want power to get revenge for your clan i know that but Naruto will see it differently if i told him" i quick and roughly wipe my tears, "what you're making your eyes red" Sasuke sits up and holds my wrists, i bite my lip "stop you're hurting yourself over something that probably won't even happen" i look at Sasuke with a running nose and streaming eyes. "I need to go be careful" he pats my head and runs into the trees, i look round and start walking back to the bridge.

Back at House:

I slid the door shut as i walk in, "Captain Yamato i found her!" i hear Sakura yell, she spots my face and runs to me, "Ume sensei what's wrong?" "i need to tell you something Sakura" "what?" i look behind her and see Sai then look at the bed room and see Naruto walking about, "can we go out side?" she nods and we find a log to sit on. "What is it?" "you remember when Sasuke left the village and Shikamaru, Neji, Choji, Rock Lee, Kiba and Akamaru, Naruto and Me went to bring him back" "hai" "i didn't try" i say "what come on don't be so hard on yourself Ume sensei im sure you tried hard he just didn't-" "no i didn't try and stop him i let him go" she stands up and walks back "what? what are you saying?" i sign "when i met up with Sasuke i could see the crave for power in his eyes and i knew no matter what i would do to try and stop him he would still go, thats why Naruto couldn't beat him and why he hasn't returned, he didn't get forced by Orochimaru he left on his own accord" Sakura shakes her head, "no Sasuke kun wouldn't-" "yes he would and he did! He wants revenge for his clan and Orochimaru seemed to be the best option for him, im not saying it was the best but he saw that he couldn't get revenge or power while staying with the leaf" "you're wrong!" "then how come he didn't come Sakura!? How come he didn't stay!? Answer that!" her eyes widen and fill with tears, she falls to her knees "so all the effort Naruto kun put in to bring him back was for nothing, all that effort everyone but you put in was for nothing!" i glare "correct he would have just left again if Naruto brought him back" "what are saying?" i look at the door and see Naruto with shock on his face, "you didn't stop Sasuke!" he yells, he runs at me and pulls my collar and raise his fist to hit me, "it wouldn't have mattered-" "wouldn't have mattered! Choji almost died trying to bring Sasuke back and you did nothing!" i shiver as i feel some of the nine's chakra leak out ~"Nine tails it's been a while"~ *"my my miss Ookami what a pickle you're in, chained like a mutt inside a emotion wreck of a girl"* ~"you can talk, the boy who believes his so called friend was kidnapped AHHAHAHAHA!"~ Naruto looks shocked then lets me go and holds his stomach where his seal was, "t-they were talking..." i huff and touch my back, ~"Seriously i was having a catch up"~ i laugh "shut it" i scold punching my head, ~"give me a break all i've got from company is you!~" i twitch "im not that bad you know" ~"oh you are! and thats saying something, i thought my last vessel was bad!"~ i notice Naruto look at me "how could that been talking, "your control over it's chakra and your own isn't great, you let it out to easy so my body took it in and it formed a direct line to the Juubu and the nine tails so they could talk" i explain standing up. Naruto glares at me then walks back into the bedroom, i look at Sakura and notice her the look i get, "Naruto nor me can forgive you for what you did" she simple says then leaves, i sign and walk into the bedroom. I notice Naruto leave as i enter and i take the chance to change clothes, i kneel o the floor and remove my top and bra, i cover my chest still with my top, i don't notice Naruto re-enter the room, "i forgot my bag i'll be out qui-" he stops and i hear his bag drop. I freeze and shakily turn around to stay at him as he looks at my back, "y-your back...." he points, tears slowly appear "g-GET OUT!" i scream, he walks over and pushing me forward and runs his fingers over my burn, i huff as no one had touched it since the day it was placed on me, ~"what don't let him touch you like that!"~ the ookami scolds, *"boy take her now! Enjoy the moment!"* i shiver at the nine tails's harsh voice, "s-stop it" i stutter as i shiver, "stop, stop, stop" i repeat till Yoshi jumps on Naruto and growls pushing him out the door, "thanks Yoshi" i sob and pant his head, he barks and lcks my burn making me flinch, "hey no touchy" i scold and get dressed into my usual ninja wear, a sleeveless black dress ending at mid thigh with black hot pants, i finish it off with a high pony tail and punches and cases in place. Me and Yoshi then leave the house, "okay lets go" Yamato announces and returns the house into roots in the ground and we walk to the bridge and take our positions, i check the area with my Akkigan as me and Yoshi cross the bridge "see anything Ume chan?!" "hai the spy his not far from here i'd say about 2 hours!" i yell back then return to Yamato and the others, but i keep my eye on the spy, "what's the matter?" Yamato asks "the chakra from the spy i know it" "you've probably come into contact before most likely when Orochimaru attacked the village" Sai answers, i nod "probably" i keep an eye on it then freeze and shake "whats wrong now?" Sakura moans, i gulp "n-nothing" i walk with Yoshi across the bridge, "Ume chan what is it?" Yamato asks standing close behind me "i saw him, Orochimaru he's far away but i still saw him i just freaked out thats all" i answer and swallow my fear "i see don't let it bother you it's just probably traces of his chakra left on the spy" i nod "yeah you're right i guess" i walk with Yoshi over the bridge and get into position.

I look at Yamato with my Akkigan active, he gives the signal to look out for Orochimaru and get into position, Yoshi stays down and gets ready to jump at my signal which was a slapping motion with my hand. I watch someone in a hooded cloak shuffles past, i glare as i know that chakra, Yoshi then starts growling lowly but quietly, 'Yoshi...' I look at him, he knew the chakra as well and he knew who he was, or she im not sexist. I hush Yoshi and return to my position, the spy was already stepping onto the bridge, i pay attention to the bridge and don't notice Yoshi acting up till i saw him being strangled by a snake, i take a kunai to cut it off but it hisses at and strangles Yoshi more "stop it" i plead the snake, i stare in it's eyes and see the reflection of Orochimaru behind me smirking. I gulp and slowly turn round shiver in fear, i lean on the tree as he does and looks down at me "my what a woman you have grown into my dear" my eyes twitch with fear, "l-let Y-Yoshi go" i stutter quietly, he smirks wider "but i can't do that know he could bite me and then i'd be poisoned by his venom" he moves my hair away from my neck and lightly strokes my neck"pulse what will you give me in exchange hmm?" i gulp and let some tears of fear go "let him go" i squeak, he chuckles and strokes my face gently "now now my little chipmunk i won't hurt you........yet" i yelp as he grabs me and spins me so we face the same way, he holds my waist tightly and holds my chin, "you may let the over grown lizard go my pet" he commands then licks my cheek, "now time to enter the show my flower" i shiver more and shut my eyes as he places his cheek next to mine pressing down. Before i know it we're all the bridge with the snake wrapped round me and Orochimaru as he holds me the same way, "quite an amusing conversation may we cut in" he teases, his snake circles round the spy and goes to squeeze the spy but he jumps out and stands next to Yamato in his Sasori disguise, my eyes widen as i see Kabuto 'i knew that i knew the chakra it was him!' i glare "if you hadn't pulled your kunai out i wouldn't have jumped back in time Sasori sama" Orochimaru's hands begin to wander my body as he leans over to get closer "that cloak it brings back memories Sasori" i twitst as he lifts my dress up slowly pulling it a cm every minute, "so you had followed Kabuto then" Yamato says glaring, Orochimaru laughs grabbing my neck gently "now i just wanted to thank you for that lovly boy you sent me, he has been very useful to me", he smirks and licks my neck, "in order to develop my new jutsus i needed human test subjects and thanks to his medical jutsu i was able to use the same test subject more then once and it's hard enough to find test subjects anyway" Yamato glares at Orochimaru as his hold on me tightens "you came here for Kabuto then why is Nakagawa Ume in your arms?" "oh this little treasure, for the Akkigan of course" he simple says and strokes my face, i shut my eyes tightly and shake violently, he laugh right in my ear "that's only one reason why i want her" "one reason?" Yamato says, i huff as Orochimaru continues to lift my dress, "look at her body, a man's dream" he smirks and takes the hand from my neck and tightly grabs one of my breasts, i yelp "these plumb breasts which seem to get bigger every time i see her, this thin perfect waist" his hand leaves my breast and strokes down my waist, "this soft sweet skin" the hand on my waist slids to my exposed stomach and circles it lightly with a finger. I try to push his hands off me but my fear get the better of me and im too weak, "and the best part of all" his hand slowly creeps to my hot pant and like a snake slivers in gently, "an untouched flower" i shiver and cry as he strokes me, "n-no stop it" i plead shakily "what's that my dear, you want more well i can't out here but i guess it's best if i wait till we're alone" he smirks and removes his hands from my pants and lowers my dress. I watch Kabuto as his hand glows with chakra and he turns and cuts through the Sasori disguise, Yamato quickly jumps out but i noticed he's injured, Orochimaru transfer me to his other arm and shots snakes out his free arm, the snakes aimed at Yamato and bite him "SENPAI!" i scream turniong round, i sign as he used replacment jutsu in time. "That was substitution using mokuton ninjutsu, you couldn't be..." Orochimaru return's his hold on my waist then nuzzles my neck and squeezes my arms so i can't move, "Orochimaru sama is that the real Sasori?" Kabuto asks, "no it's not, but Kabuto are you saying the time you spet as a spy for Sasori you never saw his real face?" "he was a very gloomy person always hiding in his puppet" i twists as Orochimaru's hand wanders over my body waist up, "what? I thought you were a spy for Akatsuki so shouldn't you have still been under his jutsu for while?" i question pulling myself forward but still being held by Orochimaru, "oh that jutsu, Orochimaru sama freed me from it quite some time ago" Kabuto smirks over his shoulder at me, "well i didn't expect you to change sides acting as you were still under Sasori's jutsu, but i guess that means you fell prey to Orochimaru's jutsu then" Yamato says glaring, "no not exactly, i didn't fell prey to a simply justu, i fell prey for Orochimaru's magnificent way of thinking" Kabuto explains, 'magnificent thinking my ass' i curse and glare behind at Orochimaru, "i chose this path on my own, but tell me who are you anyway? We came here to kill Sasori so this is quite a mishap" Orochimaru tightens his hold and pulls me up forcing my to stand straight, "Kabuto i'll tell you about his little boy late, but first thing's first" i shiver at his smirk on my neck as his leans his mouth on it. "Call out those mice of yours" "y..you knew, you saw through everything" "well of course Ume chan im not that stupid" he laughs little and nips my ear, i yelp and blush, Naruto, Sai and Sakura jump forward. "You again..." Kabuto says smiling at Naruto who was glareing, i shiver as the nine tails chakra leaks out once more, ~"you're so weak girl! why not copy the nine tails boy and take on the form of your biiju!"~ i shake my head at the Juubu 'no i won't! stop it!' Orochimaru then chuckles and licks my cheek once more, "i have seen that face a number of time, since the Kyuubi boy is now here lets play for a little" Orochimaru removes the hand on my shoulds and grabs my wrist then throws me at Kabuto "i'll give you the pleasure of telling you who's gotten stronger, you or Sasuke?" I look at Naruto and frown as the nine tails's chakra flows out more, Naruto kun..." i gulp as the Juubu starts taking in the Kyuubi's chakra.
