50 Kisses, 2: SoraYou never understood what the drawing of the boy in Namine's sketchbook, nor did you know where he was from when his cage unfurled like a lily. All you knew was that Namine had been told to reconstruct his memory, as if it had been shattered into a million pieces.
Every day, you came to see him, floating and sleeping in his too-tight clothes, and during those days, you wondered what would happen when he awoke. What would he think the world to be? Would he see his friends again? Would he even remember them?
You weren't even sure if Namine was putting everything back where it was.
But one particular day, while the witch was at work, the machine spoke. "Reconstruction at 67%.:
At the rate the witch was going, you knew the boy would wake soon. And looking through the crystal glass at him in the cage, you thought him rather serene. That's when you decided you would give him a farewell present, even if he wouldn't know it.
Walking up the stury petals, you leaned down and pressed your lips upon the cold surface. You thought about what kissing him would really be like, and if you'd be able to visit him.
DiZ arrived later, confused at the small print of your lips upon the cage.
