A Tattered Promise ♦Anime Cross over♦♀Uchiha Itachi♂ ♥Chapter Seven: Escape of the maze

Ume's pov:

I open my eyes slowly but kep my eye lids low, i feel burning all over my body as ripping pain on my back, "Kabuto can't that wait till we get back" i don't move just listen, "oh no if you don't wash the blood off these soon enough, the blades will most certainly go bad in no time" hear Kabuto and see him wash some medical blades, i breath lightly then notice Sai. "But to change the subject Orochimaru sama" i become interested slightly then turn back to Sai, "would you be able to provide me with a unmarred male corspe as soon as we get back" "but you still have some right?" i flinch fom the harsh sound of an unrolled scroll, "Hai but after the wasted diversion im left without a 15-16 male corpes and it bugs me if the scroll doesn't maintain it's proper age order" i look round and notice im sat up against a rock, i look up and see Orochimaru sitting on the rock. "Kabuto is your blood type 'A' by chance?" "no it's AB" "what does it matter what his blood type is he's still gonna be a sicko" i comment harshly as manners for me at the moment were gone because of the pain. "Look who's awake" i close my eyes for a moment the open them back up, "what happened?" i muttered, "you don't remember?" Sai says kneeling infront of me and dabbing my face with a damp cloth, "no" i huff, "the seal broke and the Juubu escaped" i blink "oh yeah i remember now" i place my head on the rock and lower it so my fridge hides my eyes. Sai continued to dab my face "stop thats enough it hurts" i say, he gets up and walks back to the stream, "i would heal your burns but im not cer-" "i won't run i have no reason too baka!" i curse then go back to sleep.

I open my eyes "why can't i sleep?" i groan, "we're awake?" i look up and see Sai holding me, "can't sleep it hurts too much" Sai nods "we're here" i look up more and to the side and see Kabuto and Orochimaru, "put me down" i say and start getting out his arms, "hai" Sai helps me stand, as his arm goes i stumble, he catches me and puts my arm round his neck so i can use him for surpport. I raise an eye brow as we stand infront of a big rock, it then opens to show a hidden passage, "clever" i admire, "Arigotu" Orochimaru answers back and we make our way into the hideout, i limp and Sai makes sure i don't fall. I huff and look at the walls as the only source of light was candles "you are a snake man, you live in the dark and under a big rock" i comment then groan and hold my stomach, i look up as i see a door way. We stop once we've entered another room, my eyes widen as i look upon Sasuke "you're late! Did you forget Orochimaru that you said you would teach me a new jutsu this after noon" "once again Sasuke you fail to mind your mouth" i stare Kabuto, i just laugh, "if you expect him to use honorifics such as sama he won't he never has" i smirk, "Ume...what happened to your body?" i stare at him, "nothing..." "you are a terrible lair Ume" he lauhs slightly, "as always" "now Sasuke calm down i picked up a present while i was out, this boy is from the leaf village i thought you could talk about Konoha" i stare at Orochimaru 'what are you thinking?' i glare, "greetings my name is Sai, you must be Uchiha Sasuke-" "Get lost" i jump from the harsh tone "even though i force a smile on it seems that im the type of person to me hated, and Naruto kun didn't seem to care much for me the whole time too" i look at Sasuke and see he's getting irritated, "but in compariosn to Naruto kun i think im going to get along better with you" i see Sasuke glare at Sai, i quickly close my eyes as he throws a Genjustu at him causing him to release his hold on me, i stumble then fall with Sai, but unlike him i had no movement in arms with out them hurting so it was head down first. I close my eyes tighter and await impact, i yelp as im snatched up and zoomed somewhere, "SASUKE KUN!" Kabuto yells then stares shocked, i open my eyes and manage to push some hair out my eyes, i see im in Sasuke's arms, "it's a good idea not to tease to much his temper is worse then mine" "i dont have time for trash like that" Sasuke curses then places me on the step where he was sitting, "what happened?" i lower my head "nothing i told you" "what are you hiding?" he crosses his arms, "nothing?" i cross my arms and pout, "fine i won't speak to you till you tell me" i twitch "Sasuke kun stop being a child" i scold "then what happened?" "the seal on the Juubu break thats all you need to know!" i snap, "arigotu" i groans then turns his back to me "Orochimaru training now!" Sasuke then poofs away, i look ahead "Kabuto make a bingo book out of these and heal Ume's burns too once your done with that" Orochimaru smirks at me then turns round "i best be going" i glare at his back, "oh before i forget..." my eyes widen as Orochimaru appears behind me, i turn round and fall off the step as he does hand signs, as i hit the ground his neck extends, i shake and try to get up. I freeze and my eyes widen, i look round for Orochimaru 'Up, left, right so then...' "down" i look down and see him bite on my inner thigh through my hot pants, my eyes twitch as his teeth retract as does his neck, i close my eyes tight and tears fall, a scream then escapes my mouth echoing through out the hideout, "oh yes the poision" i shake and yelp as he grips my jaw and squeezes it open. I jitter violently as his tongue rubs against mine stroking it a number of times, once he's done he stands "swallow" he commands and i swallow shakily, "the anti poision but i still doubt you'll be going anywhere" he smirks then steps over me, i start screaming from the pain again, Kabuto then leaves with Sai so im left alone in pain. 'It hurts it hurts!" i repeat in my head as i hold it and curl in a ball screaming and crying, i scream louder as the mark starts making my body burn up, i manage to move enough to pull my hot pant leg up. I stare in shock at the curse mark flashing red and black, but i noticed it looked different from Sasuke's and Anko's, I huff and wipe my tears "i...i need to get up" i tell myself and grab hold of the step i sat on and pull my self on it, i breathe heavily and sweat heavily too. My body starts shaking as the pain on my thigh flashes all over my body starting up the burning once more, i scream again, i huff in and just lye their watching the candle light play with my shadow, i gulp a number of times and twist so i lay on my back. Id on't know how long had passed before Sasuke returned, i look at him with tears staining my face "what?" i turn my head away "nothing, arigotu i didn't mean to upset you" i sniff and turn on my side, i yelp as my tight rubs against the other, "why were you screaming?" i look at him, i start parting my legs slowly, he walks over and peeps in and notices the curse mark flashing like a candle flame, "this is his new one, at this point the holder will already be dead, your his first survivor" he explains this circles the mark with his fingers, i yelp and hold my head as i try and hold back my scream "s-stop..." "the pain will start quicker than mine, this one can only start the first transformation by Orochimaru's command so he could force it upon you at any time before you gain control and i think he won't let you have it that easy" my eyes widen "what? but..." i lay still and spread my arms out, Sasuke removes his hand from my mark then sits next to me, "i'll stay till it stops" i look at him "but i never staied when you got yours" "you couldn't but you still didn't leave my bedside after i was emitted to the hospital after it was placed on me, Kakashi told me and Sakura told me after Itachi returned to Konoha you had staied with me then and ever tried to lift the jutsu yourself" he glances at me "arigotu" my eyes stop crying and i blush at his words, it had been years since he had said that to me. I sit up and ignore the pai, i grab Sasuke's head and shove it in my chest "Arigotu Sasuke kun" i nuzzle his head then kiss it, "how touching" i freeze and stare infront, "Sasuke you've trained hard today go and rest i'll take her off your hands" i shake and shake my head at Sasuke, "don't leave me" "aren't those the same words you said to Itachi before you kissed?" i start sobbing and Sasuke pushes me off him and walks away, i reach out for him "Sasuke kun..." i whimper, i start shivering as Orochimaru's tongue curls round my reached out arm, "now my dear lets finish what we started on the bridge" i try to get out of his grip "SASUKE KUN!" i scream struggling, "get lost" i freeze from his harsh tone, "Sasuke....kun...." i drop my head and arm, i grit my teeth and manage to regain some strenght and Orochimaru in the face, i then stumbly run after Sasuke, "Sasuke kun!" i scream then lose balance and fall forward, i huff "Sasuke kun..." i whimper "what?!" he snaps "i don't have time for someone like you!" i stare into his sharingan, i watch as it seems to change to Akkigan, my mind flashes from now to that night, i try and push my self but fall "gomensai gomensai gomensai" i repeat till my voice starts to fade, "you're so pathic" "i know" i answer back and sniff once more, "get off the floor Ume" he signs, i nod and get to as far as my knees then crash down. I scream and hold my knees as my burns split open and bleed, "gomensai Sasuke kun" i shake and stay on my side, "i get it your sorry now shut up you're giving me a head ache" i lower my head and curl more into a ball, Sasuke crunches down next to me, "why did you kiss him?" "love?" i sniff "you love him?" "i don't know i use to but after he killed Chika chan i stop and i hated him but then we met and he said he didn't kill her and he loved me, he showed me a genjutsu of the night of the masscre and it showed he didn't kill her so i forgave him and i guess i think i love him" i whimper, Sasuke signs and strokes my head "he's luring you into his web of lies, if he loved you he wouldn't have killed Chika or my clan" i sniff and lift my head to Sasuke, "you're ruining those beautiful eyes of yours" he smiles and gently wipes my tears away, "my ex student shouldn't say stuff like that to his ex sensei" i mock, i hear him laugh "good thing i guess im your ex student Ume" i sit up and lean on the wall, "you're not mad are you?" i poke my fingers together "no not so much, im only mad that you believed him you should know better" he signs and sits next to me. "How's your body feeling?" "um still burns abit" "the curse mark?" "flashes of pain" he nods then yawns, "im going to bed try and keep out of trouble-" "Sasuke kun is there anything i should look out for with the curse mark?" i ask butting in, "hai when you feel it try and take over and you try and push it back it will take over your mind and play in your worst memories" i lower my eyes from him "arigotu" i whisper back, "no problem" i smile at Sasuke as he walks into the shadows, as i move to walk the curse mark shots waves of pain through my whole body making all my burn bleed, i shake violently and scream repeatedly "UME SENSEI!" I hear Sakura, "Sakura chan" i call out, "She's over here!" she yells, "UME SENSEI!" my vision fuzies but i manage to make her out, i reach out for her, "Ume sensei..." i hear shock and fear in her voice, she picks me up and lightly places against the wall, i breathe heaivly "Sakura don't scream so l-" Yamato stops talking as he sees me, "Sakura chan-" "Naruto! don't come any closer!" "N-Naruto kun" i call out and shakily reach my hand out, "no i can't let him see you like this" i let some tears go "Sakura chan let me see her!" "please Sakura chan" i plead, she looks at me then Naruto and nods, Naruto walks over and stares in horror "Sakura chan heal her please Sakura chan!" i start letting more tears go, "hold on Naruto" Yamato says holding his hand up, "Sakura chan can you do anythign for her?" "Hai but only till she can move and stopped bleeding the rest will have to be done by Tsuande when we return to the village" "He....he put" i stutter through my pain "what Ume chan?" Yamato kneels forward "he put the curse mark on me" i say in his ear, "my inner thigh" Yamato nods and gently parts my legs, "Chaptain Yamato..."Sakura trys to stop him but i hold her arm down. Instead of pulling my hot pant leg up he pulls my pants off all together, he places two finger round my curse mark , one on each side, "thats the..." Sakura says "curse mark" Naruto finishes off for her, "that basard!" Sakura growls and punches a hole in the wall, "first Sasuke now Ume sensei-" Sakura freezes "wait at the bridge he said he wanted Ume sensei for her Akkigan so does this mean he's collecting kekki genkai?" Sakura asks, "yeah Sasuke has the sharingan and sound four or whatever all had kekki genkai" i huff as i craddle my self, Yamato creates a wood clone, "Sakura heal Ume chan as quick as you can and my clone with take her up" "hai captain Yamato" Sakura then starts healing me, it heals much easier then when the Juubu was still in me.

Yamato's clone puts my arm round his neck and one of his round my waist "okay we'll be going up now" the clone says and helps me walk at an normal speed, we reach a hole in the wall and the clone picks me up bridal style and jump up a hole and we reach the top ground, i cover my eyes from the sun. Yamato clone then helps me sit down with my back against a rock, "okay you just rest" i nod, i then turn my head to the side as Yoshi barks, i start to cry "Yoshi" i grab his head and hug it lightly "you're okay!" i cheer he licks my face, "we found him by ythe pit created by Naruto, his injures were healed but poorly!" i glare and grit my teeth, "that bastard!" i curse, "what happened why did you go with Orochimaru?" i lower my eyes, "i was black mailed but i agreed to it to save Yoshi, if they healed Yoshi's injures completely i go with them and be Orochimaru's forever that was the deal" "i noticed on the way here you had started to leave a blood trail why did it stop?" "i was caught, Kabuto caught me out then Orochimaru broke my arm till the bone was sticking out and blood pouring from it, the Juubu healed it while it was still inside me" i answer with a smirk. "If i was in better condition i wouldn't have been caught" i laugh "im a disgrace to ANBU black ops" "now what you did was a challange in it's self im surprised you lasted the distance you did anyone else would have been caught as soon as they began, it's because of black ops you were able to last so long" i smile up at Yamato's clone. I turn to the hole as does the clone, The real Yamato jumps up with Sai in one hand with wood wraped round him, Sakura and Naruto then join him, "hey" i wave i notice their shocked faces as they now have a better look at me, my skin complete Charred. "Sakura try and heal her just a bit more" "Hai Captain Yamato" Sakura walks over to me and removes her gloves, her hands glow green and she hovers them above my right arm slowly, i sign in relief "Sakura chan.." "Yeah?" "you know i f i hand cat ears they would be flicking up and down now it feels nice" she giggles, i guess they would" "nya~" i flick my free hand like a cat and meow, she laughs, i act like a flick my hand at her hair "nya nya~" she laughs more, i stare at Yoshi as he growls at Sai, "Yoshi stop" i command, i stare at Sai, "Unfortunatly Sai we'll have to leave you here with my wood clone watching you, same to you Ume chan-" "what no Im going too!" i yell "you're in no condition right now" i lower at the ground with a pout "baka" i moan, "now it's to get what we came for, it's time to resuce Saskue!" "it'll be better if you gave up now" Sai says i look sad almost, "I met Sasuke kun, Orochimaru is always with him so if continue the best you'll manage is being ripped to pieces and used as guinea pigs" i frown "besides Sakura chan said you think of him as a brother but where what i saw he couldn't care less about you, and despite that do you really intend to go up against Orochimaru of all people just for him, you're going to put your life on the line for him? But why? It's not like you were ordered to do this..." i smile at Sai as does Naruto "way back int the day i used to hate Sasuke but once i got used to being with him i realized he was alot of fun to be around, he's the person that, more then anyone else, appected me and my existance, Sasuke is my friend and he represents bonds i've waited so long to receive thats why" "you see Naruto won't stop even though i told him about Sasuke leaving on his will" "but he's changed how do you know if he's the same Sasuke kun?" i giggle "the most that has changed about him is his temper-" "for you maybe but thats because he holds deep respect for you after to took care of him after his clan was masscred, he'll never forget that so he'll treat you differently then others" i look atthe ground "it still doesn't seem like much of a reason not if you're facing someone like Orochimaru" "If my arms get ripped off, i'll just kick him to death, if my legs get ripped off, i'll just bite him to death, if my head gets ripped off, i'll just stare him to death, if my eyes get ripped out, i'll just curse him to death" i giggle at Naruto, "Even if it means getting torn to pieces im going take Sasuke back from Orochimaru" i nod at Naruto "i want to help please" i plead Yamato dragging my arm away from Sakura's healing jutsu, "you can't perform jutsus" he explains "then i'll tickle Sasuke till he passes out, i know all his 36 tickle spots" Sakura laugh "36 really?" "hai the corner of the pits and his hips are the most ticklish" "oh really tell me more" "Sasuke's ticklish?" Naruto asks, "hai i discovered it after i took him in when we had our first bath together" Sakura jaw drops "you bathed with him!" "hai till he was 12 then he bathed like a big boy on his own" Sakura sobs "you've seen his naked body and he's seen yours" i nod "a problem?" she shakes her head, i look at Naruto with a red face, i then turn to Yamato who holds his nose.
