A Tattered Promise ♦Anime Cross over♦♀Uchiha Itachi♂ ♥Chapter Eight: A new curse mark? The stages revealed

"Ume chan you stay here with Yoshi, my clone and-" Yamato quickly picks me up and jumps out the way of the shuriken and kunais thrown, "arigotu" i say up to him as he helps me stand, "Sai judgeing by your situation you were captured" i glare at Kabuto and reach for my kunai punch, i freeze and realize it was missing, "looking for this" iturn back "when did you?" i my eyes widen slightly more then glare hard, "when you were healing my back on the bridge" Kabuto then kneels down to Sai, "you bastard" i curse and appear infront of Kabuto and swing my leg at him, he grabs Sai and jumps out the way, i huff and lean on the rock as im still too weak, "im impressed you can move like that still" i grit my teeth and appear in front of him again but on the ground, i spin my foot round hoping to trip him, he jumps and i smirk and appear above him and kick the back of his head down, i appear on the ground. As Kabuto is about to land i use Konoha senpu, i jump back and let Kabuto fall to the ground, i huff then smirk "my body may be unable to perform jutsus but i can still do Taijutsu" i stand up tall as the sunshines bright so i look hero or something out a fairytale. "hmm It seems the curse mark has worn off for the mean time" i laugh "no i hasn't but when my students and allies are in danger i simple push the pain aside and i move just fine" "that's impossible-" "really i kinda grew up to learn since at a young the children of the Nakagawa clan are tortured to endure high level of pain" Sakura's eyes widen "Sai are you okay?" he lays on the ground unable to move because of the wood surrounding him, "hai im fine Ume sensei" i smile "good gl...ad" i fall as my body reaches it's limit, Yamato quickly catches me "Ume chan thats enough we'll handle the rest" i nod and he places me down so im against a tree, i have trouble keeping my eyes open watch the fight go on. I groan as the curse mark starts burning "shit..." i take a kunai on the tree i sit against, i stop from stabbing the mark as poision drips from blade, i look round "SAKURA!" i scream she turns round, "dodge!" i command and throw the kunai at her, she jumps back then stares at the kunai, as do the others now Kabuto is restrained by Yamato's wood. "there's poison on that blade" i inform, she takes the kunai from the ground and stares in shock "this is Sasori's poison!" "wha-" Naruto looks shocked, "i guess what Itachi said was true, Amaya did bring Sasori back" i gulp "it must be proof he's alive" "Sakura i may not have met him but from the briefs you've told me i doubt he's the person to leave proof, i think Akatsuki were recently or are here now" Kabuto laughs, "if they are here then Sasori would have wasted no time in revealing him self he hated making people wait and being made to wait" i look at the ground for more signs, there were none. "Great now Ak-" "Naruto focus on Sasuke not Akatsuki!" i demand, "h-hai Ume sensei" he nods "Sasuke should be finished with his training now so he's in his chambers, there are a large number of rooms all through out the lair if you look in each one you should find him, still if you aren't careful there is a chance you'll run into a snake, Orochimaru sama's room is in the same area after all" i glare and get up "im coming too" "no you stay here-" "what good am i leaning against a tree we'll find Sasuke kun quicker with my Akkigan!" i protest, "okay just swallow this first" i stare at the seed in Yamato's hand, i take it and swallow it with out question "what does it do?" "allows me to track you so if you're in danger i'll know and i'll be there as quick as i can okay?" i nod "lets go" yamato nods, "Yoshi stay and guard" he nods and growls at Kabuto showing his teeth, I jump down the hole then stumble, Naruto Catches me, "Ume sensei-" "im fine" i stand up "come lets go" i take the lend, we each take turns to watch the corns before running, we then stop. "Okay lets split up" i suggest, "agreed, Sai and Naruto are a team, me and Sakura are one and Ume you're solo" i nod and do some hand signs, 'Akkigan:Kyūkyoku no rēdā' i groan slightly and fall to one knee as the curse burns up, "im fine" i say then get up, Yamato nods, "okay me and Sakura will go East, Sai and Naruto go West and Ume chan you go North" i nod and put a glare on "dispatch!" Yamato orders and we break apart.

As Ume is search rooms:

"That Curse mark it's different then Sasuke kun's" Kabuto smirks, Yamato wood clone (Yamato.2) glares "what do me?" "this is only the first stage of it" Yamato.2's eyes widen "first stage what do you mean?" "this curse mark has three stages for each mark, to create the final curse mark two more curse marks must be place on the body, the next two curse makrs have 5 stages together, the longest some one has lasted is the second curse mark and first stage" Kabuto chuckles lightly, "she'll most like die before then" "you underestimate her" "oh do i, the first curse is mainly to test the holders strenght, the first stage makes the holder unable to perform justus but as soon as they are able to make at least one then it moves onto the second stage, where their metal strenght is tested forcing a genjutsu on the holder, once they get through an genjutsu with their metal strenght in tack the third stage begins" Kabuto looks up fully into Yamato.2's eyes, "it tests their phyical strenght by restoring all the previous injures see if the holder can live through that the first curse disappears and the second is needed" Yamato.2 quickly contacts the real Yamato, "You need to get Ume chan out of there, the curse mark is different to Sasuke's it has stages, it seems Ume chan's pasted the first stage so the second stage will start making her see genjutsus" Y.2 nods and removes his hand from his ear, "so Ume has pasted the first stage interested, she's stronger then i expected" Y.2 glares harder at Kabuto, "Orochimaru sama will be keeping an eye on her more then usually i guess" "then i guess we just have to keep him away from her so he can't place the second curse seal on her" Kabuto then laughs loudly, "i forgot to mention, the second curse mark must be placed on the body within 24 hours after the first disappears or the holder died instantly" Y.2 steps back in shock then quickly contacts the real Yamato once more.

Ume:

I stop and open another door "Sasuke kun" i call out, nothing just an echo, i sign and begin to close the door "Ume chan..." i freeze and shakily look back into the room, i see Chika on the floor knelt down "C-Chika chan..." "Ume chan" she crys and arms at me and jumps me, she knocks me down, "Ume chan!" she screams and tuggs my dress, "h-how are you here?" "Itachi kun didn't kill me and me and the whole Uchiha clan was carted off that night but someone stoped the cart, it was Orochimaru, he took most of us but Fugaku managed to get most of us away and so we hide, everyday was a strangle Danzo knew so root would come everyday and take a few of us, soon enough it was just me and Mikoto but Itachi came for us he wore a black cloak with red clouds, i had just activated my sharingan so i was weaker then him, he tried to kill me and Mikoto. Mikoto sacrificed her self so i could get away, but Orochimaru showed up and i ended up here" i shake and hold her back "it's okay Chika chan im here i'll take you back to the village-" im cut off as some stabs me, "you stabbed me in the back by stealing my lover you little whore!" she curses, i look at my stomach and see she had stuck a Kunai in me, "i loved him!" she yells and starts stabbing me over and over, "i don't understand Chika chan-" "I loved that man you were just the bit on the side he came with!" she throws me to the ground and saddles my hips and raises the kunai to finish me off, my face goes blank "i see this is what Sasuke kun met, the curse mark makes you see moments of your past but since mine his different i see figures of my past, this is a genjutsu from the curse mark" i close my eyes then open and see im staring into the empty room, "empty" i say and close the door and start looking again.

I stop and look ahead as i sense Orochimaru's chakra, i grit my teeth and run towards it, i slid in, "oh Ume chan i see you're moving just fine" i glare "very funny make figures of my past haunt me through a genjutsu" his face lights up with joy "the second stage complete i wish you luck for the third one" i glare and run forward and jump aiming a punch at his face, i stop and stumble back as my arm breakes and the bone breaks out of the skin "this injure..." i huff "yes the one from the forest i gave you, you see this curse mark is made up of stages, this first curse has three, first unable to use jutsu but you used your Akkigan like nothing, so complete, the second stage Genjustu forced upon you, you saw through it like glass complete and the final one your previous injures return to you, if you can live through it and deal with it like nothing then complete, so let me see you Ume chan fight through your pain" i glare and get up gripping my arm, i hold a hand sign up and a shadow inside my arm pulls my bone back down and ties it together and hold the wound close, "my you are wonderful" i kneel forward then appear infront of Orochimaru and swing my leg, he touches it lightly and i fall as it burns, i look at my leg and see it completely burned and split bleeding "what no!" i moan, i take the bottle of water out my pouch i got back from Kabuto, I stand and lean on the wall huffing, "im okay" i turn back to Orochimaru, i glare harder then back flip infront of him, i punch him, he blocks and grabs my arm, i ignore the pain and spin him over my shoulder and kick him in his back, "you're not fighting back..." my eyes widen "you're testing me" "correct to see if you can survive this stage" i smirk and stand up up straight, "bring it!" Orochimaru laughs then shots snakes out his arm, the snakes wrape round my body and before i know it the body is completely covered in burns and split. I huff as the snake retract from my body, i fall forward and huff as i can't move, "what a dispointment, Sasuke kun will be upset" he walks away. "Did i say i was done!" i snap and stand up and huff in and take the pain like it's nothing, and i appear infront of Orochimaru "Leaf Whirlwind!" i yell and perform my Taijutsu!" as he gets up wipping his mouth he licks his lips "third stage complete, you are perfect" he then disappears, i look at my curse mark and notice it's gone, i smile "wow it's gone" i jump in the air cheering then fall as the pain gets to me slightly "no jumping got it" i get up and start looking again.
