The things that happen in Konoha... (Naruto) 6- Naruto & Tamashi: Matchmakers!

(Tamashi and Naruto are sitting around at his house, bored)
Tamashi: I just got a great idea! =D
Naruto: What is it?
Tamashi: Well, we're going to hook some people up! >:3
Naruto: Ooooh. Who are we gonna set up?
Tamashi: Amaya and Rain, and Shuri-sensei with Yamato.
Naruto: O.o I dunno. Do they all really like each other?
Tamashi: *sweatdrops* Are you that blind, Naruto-kun? It's more than obvious! >.>
Naruto: *shrugs* So how are we gonna set them all up?
Tamashi: This is what we'll do; First, we talk to Yamato and Rain. Then, when we get them in on the plan, we arrange for the two of them to spend alone time with their girl. It's simple!
Naruto: *nods slowly* That's a really good idea! How do you come up with these things? o.e
Tamashi: I dunno. I guess I'm just awesome like that! XD
Naruto: Yeah, you are. ^///^ *kisses her*Tamashi: o///o Errr, let's go. I'll go talk to Rain and Amaya, so you go talk to Yamato and Shuri-sensei.
Naruto: Alright.
(When Tamashi finds Rain. He's reading a random magazine outside a shop on a bench)
Tamashi: Hey, Rain-kun! ^^
Rain: O.o Your in a good mood, Tamashi.
Tamashi: Of course! *sits by him*
Rain: *shrugs and goes back to reading*
Tamashi: I need to talk to you for a second, Rain.
Rain: *closes magazine* What's up?
Tamashi: How do you feel about Amaya? And I want you to be completely honest.
Rain: o//e As in 100% legit?
Tamashi: *nods* As legit as possible.
Rain: Well, *looks off to the side nervously* I really really like her. But I won't say anything. She likes Kankuro.
Tamashi: What if I told you that I she would like to date you?
Rain: Don't joke with me like that, Tamashi. >_>
Tamashi: I'm not joking, Rain. All you have to do is spend so time alone with her, and make your move.
Rain: She'll reject me. I don't see any point in-
Tamashi: She won't reject you, damn it! Just head to the park about 2 and spend the day with her. Alright?
Rain: ... Fine. But if she ends up breaking my heart, I swear, Tamashi, I'll never forgive you.
Tamashi: :) That's a chance I'm willing to take.
(Naruto talking to Yamato, who he found talking with Kakashi)
Naruto: Hey, Captain Yamato, I need to talk to you for a minute. Just you and me.
Yamato: o.e Alright.
(Both walk away from Kakashi, who just walked off, reading)
Yamato: So what'cha wanna talk to me about?
Naruto: Do you wanna date Shuri-sensei?
Yamato: o///o I, er, what???
Naruto: *shrugs* Tamashi-chan wants me to set you two up. She said it was obvious you guys like each other, but I don't see it.
Yamato: *sweatdrops* So it's obvious?
Naruto: O.O So she was right! You do like Shuri-sensei!
Yamato: Errrrrr, yes, yes I do.
Naruto: *leaps up hapily* Then you've gotta ask her out! Believe it[1]! She won't reject you! :D
Yamato: o///o Ohhh no, I could never do that.
Naruto: Yes you can. It's easy. Just spend the day with her, and this evening, just spill your guts out on her! ^^
Yamato: ...
Naruto: Come on! It'll work!
Yamato: *sighs* I guess I'll have to do it eventually, anyway. Might as well get rejected now. >.>
Naruto: -_-" She won't reject you!! Damn. Just do something she likes with her all day. She likes fighting. So just spend the day sparring with her! :D
Yamato: *thinks a minute* Well, that would work, I suppose. It's the best shot I've got.
Naruto: So go do it!
Yamato: Fine, fine, haha, I'm going.
(To Amaya and Rain, a couple of hours later. Un known to them, Tamashi is watching from the bushes)
Amaya: So, um, Rain?
Rain: Hmm? What is it?
Amaya: What made you wanna spend the day with me? Usualy on our off days, you stay at home and sleep or something.
Rain: *shrugs* I guess I just wanted to spend some time out of the house for once.
Amaya: Do you really mean that?
Rain: Well... that's actually not the reason I called you out her today, Amaya.
Amaya: And what would the real reason be...?
Rain: *kisses her quickly, then pulls back and looks away* Well, that's why.
Amaya: o//o Rain, er.. Could you do that again...?
Rain: o.O But I'm confused. I thought you liked Kankuro...?
Amaya: He's a friend. Besides, he lives in another village. I would never get to see him, and I wouldn't leave Konoha for anything.
Rain: So, umm... Does that mean you like me then?
Amaya: =) Yes, yes I do. I really, really, like you, Rain.
Rain: Now I don't have to feel any guilt by doing this. *kisses her again*
Amaya: o_o *kisses back*
Tamashi: YES!!!! SUCCESS!!!!
Rain/Amaya: *turn around and look at her*
Tamashi: o__o *runs off*
Rain/Amaya: *shrug and go back to kissing*
(To me and Yamato. Naruto is creeping on us XD. This is a couple of hours after Rain and Amaya got together)
Naruto: .__. -whispers- Are they ever gonna stop?
Yamato: *jumps back* So have you had enough for today?
Me: Heh, only if you have.
Yamato: You've never been good at admitting when your tired, even when you look exhausted! Haha.
Me: I know that!
Me/Yamato: *sit down beside each other*
Naruto: -whispers- Finally, were getting somewhere.
Me: *pulls out water bottle and starts drinking*
Yamato: o.o" Man, you really chugged that...
Me: I did not! >.> I was thirsty!
Yamato: Hahah, obviously.
-Awkward silence-
Naruto: -___-
Yamato: *takes a deep breath* Shuri, theres kind ofa reason I wanted to see you today...
Me: O.o And what would that be?
Yamato: *takes a second to think* I guess, I just really like spending time with you. Any time at all... >///>
Me: o///o I really like spending time with you too, Yamato.
Yamato: Shuri... I really really reeeeally like you. I have for years ^//^"
Me: Ummmmm, I really like you too. Since about a month after I met you....
Naruto: Oh screw it! *runs out and shoves our faces together, making us kiss*
Me: O///O DAMN IT NARUTO!!!!
Naruto: It was for your own good! >.> *runs off*
Yamato: He has quiet the way of doing things.
Me: That's for sure.... Now, where were we?
