Young Justice: Hope Ch. 58

Once everything with awards were done, ballroom music began to play. We all sat at the table for a song or two. Then surprisingly, Wally asked Artemis to dance. Artemis just froze from the shock of being asked. Finally after everyone stared at her for a minute or two she said yes.

After Wally led Artemis onto the dance floor, M'Gann dragged Conner with her onto the floor. I laughed so hard from the look on Conner's face. I could tell that Robin wanted to ask me to dance but was too shy. I knew that it would be ettiqually wrong to ask him. Kaldur was talking with us until Wonder Woman walked over to us with someone hiding behind her. "Hello everyone. I would like you all to meet, Dana, she is my little sister from my home island."

The girl had brown hair and had the same blue eyes as Wonder Woman. She looked about 17. Kaldur was imediately acting like a fool. She laughed at his clumsiness but was very kind about it. Robin to Hope: I've never seen Kaldur feeling this much of the aster.

I couldn't help but laugh out loud at this. Luckily, Kaldur had already asked her to dance, and which she excepted. As Robin was getting the courage to ask me to dance, my father came over for a father-daughter dance. As my father and I started to dance, I felt sad.

Dr.Fate to Hope: My little blossom, something upsets you.

Hope to Dr.Fate: Yes, daddy. I know that this will most likely be the last time that I will feel truly safe.

Dr.Fate to Hope: Don't think like that. If you give into pain now you will never win the battle and understand that you must think of what you love.

The music stopped and my father gave me a crushing hug.
