Chapter Selector

I vowed that I would never make the same mistake as Leafpool in falling in love with a cat from a different Clan, or a she-cat at all.

But then I met Echoflight.

She was a loner that had joined ThunderClan by the name of Echo. At first I just thought she was another loner - just another cat joining the Clan. I never thought that I would grow to be her close friend...that I would learn to love her.

Echoflight was like no other cat I've met before. Mostly because she isn't a cat to start off with. But I didn't care. She was different from all of the other she-cats I knew. She had the caring, compassionate, friendly side to her, but then she could be sarcastic, short-tempered - almost a completely different cat!

I loved that about her.

Everything.

I love everything about Echoflight. I never stopped loving her either, even when she told all of the Clans about the powers of the Five, and how she was a twoleg and all. I never stopped loving her. I never will.

StarClan forgive me, but if you were in my position, you would know.

Echoflight...the way she says my name, the way she helped me without teasing me or taunting me, or accusing me about being blind. She was different. She looked passed all of the flaws that almost every other cat saw - she looked past all of that, and found the real me.
