RECAP: Val was talking with James.

Chapter 2

Val P.OV:

We both leaned in until our lips met. I pulled away. “James, I can't,” I said. “Whats wrong?” He asked me. “It's not that i don't like you as a friend, i do it's just-” I started to say but he cut me off by saying, “You like Kendall. Don't you?” I nodded. “That's....awesome! We have been trying to get him a girlfriend since his ex Jo left...man was she pretty. Not that you're not pretty you are very pretty and-” I cut him off by covering his mouth. “Just stop talking before you pass out,” I said while trying to hold in my laughter. I got up and left the room. “So? How did it go?” Kendall asked me. “It went good. We are friends,” I said to him. “Hey Kendall, do you wanna go and hangout somewhere?” I then asked him. He nodded and we left. We got into his car and he asked me, “So, where do you wanna go?” “I saw this place when we were driving to Palmwoods my first day here and it looked really pretty and private. Let's go there,” I answered. He nodded and I directed him to it. We arrived and got out of the car. “Come on I think there's a path over here,” I said grabbing Kendall's hand. I noticed he blushed when I took his hand. “Here it is,” I said letting go of his hand. I started walking down the path and I turned around to notice that Kendall was still standing at the beginning of the path.

Kendall P.O.V:

I watched Val start down the path. I went to but I stopped. She turned around and asked me, “Are you coming?” I shook my head. She came up to me, grabbed my hand, and pulled me down the path. We walked for about twenty minutes before we found this little cave opening and we sat on the outside of it. “Look at the view,” she said. “Yeah, it's really pretty,” I said. She smiled. “And you are too,” I said. * Oh god!! Stupid! Stupid! Why did you just say that? She probably doesn't like you like that way!* I thought mentally slapping myself. I looked at her and she was just blushing.

Val P.O.V:

I blushed thirty shades of red when I heard Kendall call me pretty. I looked at him and put my hand on his cheek. I turned his face so he was looking at me and I leaned in and pecked his lips. He pulled me closer to him and we shared a passionate kiss. We broke apart and i heard my phone ringing. I answered it. “Hello?” “Hey Val its Rae” Rae said. (V-Val, R-Rae)

V-What's up?

R- You need to get to the hospital..NOW!!

V-Why?

R-Your mom was in an accident!! She was driving back form the store and some guy in another car steered in her lane and the cars hit each other. Hurry!!

V-Oh my GOD!! ok I'm on my way!!

R-Ok

I hung up my phone and started crying. “What's wrong?”Kendall asked me. “My mom was in a car accident. Can you drive me to the hospital?” I asked him. He nodded and we ran to his car and left for the hospital. We got to the hospital and I was Rae and Dez, even Ricky was there. I ran and hugged Rae and Dez. “Where is she? Is she ok?” I asked them. “The doctor's haven't said anything yet so we don't know,” Rae said. “Hey is everything ok?” I heard someone say, I turned around to see Logan, Carlos, and James. I ran and hugged James. “What are you guys doing here?” I asked them. “Well Rae called me,” Logan said. “And Dez called me,” Carlos said. Rae then hugged Logan and Dez hugged Carlos. I went back over to Kendall and he grabbed my hand. I looked over a Ricky and saw she was crying. I went over to her and knelt down in front of her. “Ricks? I'm really sorry about yesterday,” I said. “I'm sorry too. I don't know what came over me,” she said. She stood up and we hugged. I then went up to James and pulled him over to Ricky. “I'm sorry,” she said. He grabbed her and hugged her. I just stood there with Kendall behind me, his arms wrapped around me. “It'll all be ok,” he told me. I nodded, “I know it will,” I said. Then the doctor came in the room. “Is Valery Woods here?” he asked. I raised my hand and said, “I am Valery Woods.” “Miss Woods, I am Dr. Morris. I need you to come with me,” he said. “Ok but only if he can come too,” I pointed to Kendall. “Very well,” he said. We walked into an empty hallway and Dr. Morris said, “Your mother is in critical condition. The other vehicle swerved into her lane and hit the front of her car. Her car flipped over a few times and she passed out. But what we didn't realize was there was a little girl in the car as well.” * Oh no! Kayla!* i thought to myself. “Where is the little girl? What room is she in?” i asked Dr. Morris. “She...didn't make it. If you wish to see her body, you need to go down this hallway and make a left. When you see Rm 222, that is where she is,” Dr. Morris said. “Thank you,” I said. I turned around looking at Kendall. “Let's go and see the body,” he suggested. I nodded and we headed for Rm 222. We walked into the room and I saw my baby sister's body laying on a metal platform. I walked over and kissed her forehead. “Goodbye Kayla. I love you,” I said, tears welling up in my eyes. Kendall pulled me close to him and kissed my head. “Shh. It's ok you're alright,” he assured me. We headed back to the others and Rae and Dez came up to me. “Are you ok? How's your mom?” They both asked. “My mom is in critical condition. But, Kayla was in the car too. The car flipped a few times and Kayla died,” I said. “i then looked at the doors and saw Kendall's mom and sister walk in. “Oh my Valery, are you ok dear? How's your mom?” she asked. “She's ok. She's in critical condition. But Kayla well, she was in the car too when it flipped and she, well,” I said. More tears welling up in my eyes. I felt arms wrap around me. It was Kendall's sister Katie. I hugged her back. “Well I’m going to take Katie home. Kendall sweety, are you coming?” He shook his head. “I''m going to stay with Val for a bit. I'll be home later though,” he told her. “Ok. See you at home then,” she replied. He nodded and she left with Katie. “ Well we are all going to head out. See you two later,” Logan said. We waved at them as they left. “What do you want to do now?” Kendall asked me. “I don't know,” I said.
