Heartless Ch. 11

I sank deeper into the water letting it relax my stressed muscles. I looked at my companions as they did the same. I cracked open an eye and looked at Rangiku.

Chiyako: you were right Rangiku, this does make me feel better.

Rangiku: I was surprised when you agreed to this since we brought the boys along.

Chiyako: So you haven’t heard about a couple days ago then?

Rangiku: No why?

Ikkaku: She walked around the squad barracks in nothing but a towel and carrying her sword.

Rangiku: And when was this?!?

Chiyako: After the “welcome” party.

Rangiku: And I missed it? Well oh well, but I have to ask, why?

Chiyako: Three guys stole my clothes. I have yet to find the poor bastards.

We talked for hours after that about anything and everything; mostly about past battles, loves, and pranks. As Rangiku and I were stepping out an older man burst through the doors and skidded to a stop. He had a divided mustache and a scared look on his face. When he saw us, his face went red and he turned his face as blood started to drift down his face.

Ikkaku: Aramaki what the Hell are you doing here?!?!

Aramaki covered his eyes and turned to Ikkaku.

Aramaki: I was told by the captain to retrieve Chiyako Saki and you; Third seat Madarame and Fifth seat Ayasegawa.

Chiyako: Tell the captain that we will be right there. In fact, if you’ll let me get dressed I will go with you to see the captain.

Aramaki: Yes that would be great!

Chiyako: Alright then

She bends over to get her clothes and Aramaki sees this. Soon blood starts to flow faster and he ran out.

Rangiku: *laughs* Did you see his face?!?

Ikkaku: *smiles* It seems that he couldn’t handle it.

Yumichika: Give him a break Ikkaku, when we first got in here you almost passed out as well.

Ikkaku: Did not!

Rangiku: Let’s face it Ikkaku, you were shocked.

Ikkaku: I…

Chiyako: Well I’d better see if he’s alright. Ikkaku…Yumichika… If Captain Kenpachi wanted all three of us then it is something important. Please hurry up that way we may go. *turns to Rangiku* Thank you Rangiku for trying to calm me down. I’ll talk with you later.

I saw Aramaki standing outside facing away from the bathhouse.

Chiyako: Aramaki right?

Aramaki: Y..yes.

Chiyako: You know everyone in the squad right?

Aramaki: Y..yes… Why do you ask?

Chiyako: So since you know everyone in the squad would you kindly tell me who it was that took my clothes from the squad bathhouse a few days ago?

Aramaki: I don’t know who did it.

I smiled and pushed him against a wall.

Chiyako: Well if you don’t know who did it then you were lying about knowing everyone weren’t you?

Aramaki: I do know everyone!

Chiyako: Then don’t lie to me! They can’t help you now and since I’m pretty sure that I am being transferred I would like to have my clothes back!

He shrank at my words and was visibly shaking as he answered my question.

Aramaki: I…I…It was Yashimoto and Hankipo.

Chiyako: Now was that so hard?

Aramaki: No.

Chiyako: Now after the meeting could you point me in the right direction to where their rooms are so I can get my clothes back?

Aramaki: As long as no one knows that I did it that’s fine by me.

Chiyako: Thank you Aramaki.

We moved from the wall and sat there until Ikkaku and Yumichika came out of the bathhouse.

Chiyako: Jeez, took you two long enough. So you ladies ready to go or are you gonna stop and check your make-up as well.

Aramaki and I smiled as Ikkaku’s face turned 7 shades of red and Yumichika looked thoughtful.

Yumichika: You know; that might not be such a bad idea.

With that we all laughed except Ikkaku who was staring us down. If looks could kill I’m sure I’d be dead at least 50 times by now, not that it mattered.

Chiyako: Calm down Ikkaku, you know we’re just teasing. Now come on, we have to go to the Captain’s office.
