I walked along the lake edge, occasionally kicking a stone out of my way and hearing it
splash in the clear edges of the black Lake. Hoping it annoys the giant squid that lurked in
its depths alongside the merpeople who I had never seen before.
I couldn't decide if what was growing inside of me was good or bad, but I know it will make me
fat for the rest of the year, then I'll give birth in the next summer holidays and have to
bring the kid up on my own while Draco resides in Prison still.
He'll come back to me soon, he'll sneak out to see me, and then I will have to tell him, tell him
that our love has created something he longed for since the beginning, a family of his own.
I must say it's a little early to have children, I haven't finished school yet, I'm not even
of age. But I will be soon, and before when I had pregnancy scares a child was out of the
question, but now things are different, I'm married, and carrying something my husband
wants more then life itself, how could I get rid of it?
I stopped and turned to look out along the area of the lake, the sun glazing down and
reflecting off its dark surface. The small ripples caused my movement under the waters surface
reflected the sun back to my eyes like glinting flashes of light.
I looked up towards Hogwarts and admired the beauty of the old castle. I have only been here
two years, but unlike my other school I think i might actually miss this one. It will be such a
change when I graduate. Living at the Malfoy Manor, (with Draco hopefully), looking after baby
Malfoy. Geeze I'll miss my friends, and my kick ass reputation.
I sat down, stretching my legs out in front of me and leaning back on my hands. Tilting my
head back and closing my eyes feeling the sun rays warm up my face and body.
I wonder who will come visit me at the manor?
Ron?
Lavender?
Pansy?
She wouldn't dare. Besides she wouldn't come round unless Draco was in.
Harry maybe. I'm still confused about the other night, when I rejected him, he seemed genuinely
heart broken bless him. I won't deny I enjoyed the kiss, I enjoyed his touch, he made me
feel whole again. But then so did my night with Draco. I know I'm married to Draco, so why
can't I get rid of these feelings for Harry?
I don't know how long I was there for, a long time as my stomach groaned complaints of
skipping lunch. But it was still hot outside and I was too relaxed to move.
But then company came, not the best company at the current time I must say.
"Everything okay?" he asked concerned, I smiled and nodded as Blaise sat down beside me.
"I've had better days, how about you? Not still freaked out by my mental issues are you?" I
said smirking at him, he scoffed and shook his head.
"I'm sorry, but you've got to admit, your not the most normal person, but in my dorm, that
was as close to insanity as you can get," he laughed, but I didn't laugh with him.
"Blaise I swear on my baby's life I didn't make it up," I said, he smirked but then his usually
tanned face when usually pale as he stared deep into my eyes with shock and confusion.
"And before you say anything else why the hell would I lie over that? or the first thing for
that matter!" I said quickly, he looked away for a few moments, letting the information sink
in.
"Chloe? You can't be... he can't... no Chloe, it was probably just..."
"Shut up Blaise, there's no excuse for this, Pomfrey said it so I must be,"
"What are you going to do? Keep it?"
"I honestly don't know."
"Hey Chloe, where ya off to?" said Ginny Weasley leaving the guy she was holding hands with and
skipping over towards me beaming.
"To the prefects bathroom, I need a nice long bath," I smiled, she smiled back and nodded.
"Okies then, so I'll see you at dinner then?" she said sounding hopeful, I just nodded and
continued on my way towards the prefects bathroom.
I entered the prefects bathroom, dumping my things on the chair I headed over to the large
monument of taps, turning on one of the taps the whole layer of taps switched on, then the
next layer, and the next, till all the taps were on running water of different colours
of the rainbow.
I stripped down before stepping into the warm water before sitting down and rubbing the soapy
water up my arms and legs and relaxing in the soothing water.
Listening to the sounds of the running water I closed my eyes and let out a deep breath.
"This couldnt get any better," I said faintly to myself enjoying the peace.
"It just did," came a voice. I jumped round quickly putting my arms across my breasts to keep
myself covered and going deep under the water till it was up to my neck.
"Where the hell have you been for the past 2 weeks asshole?" I spat at the smirking character
sat on the chair with my things now on the floor.
"Some trouble with the Courts, but I got it all sorted with Rufus," he said running his fingers
through his blonde hair, scraping his fringe out of his face.
"You better get out of that prison quick, you've already missed 3 exams," I said sitting back
down and keeping my chest covered.
"Don't worry, I will be soon, you going to Hogsmede tomorrow?" he asked quickly changing the
subject, I shrugged. "Possibly, but not for long, why?" I asked curiously.
"I want you to meet me there, in the Hogs Head, back corner table, 1pm, don't be late," he said
I frowned. "And what if I don't go?" I asked, "Then I won't be able to show you how much I've
missed you again," he smirked. I looked away, I had to tell him.
"Oh, about that," I said turning my back to him.
"Well last time... in Blaise's dorm, you remember don't you?" I asked.
I heard him snigger, "How could I forget, you looked as beautiful as ever," he said, I could
tell he was smirking. He seemed a little cocky for someone whose locked up surrounded by
criminals everyday, I guess he'll never loose his Malfoy attitude.
"Thank you, but there's... something else," I said not sure how I could tell him.
"Something else?" he asked unsure. "Hand me the towel please," I said prolonging the time
that I had to tell him. He grabbed the towel, getting up from the chair and heading over.
He opened the towel, I quickly stepped out of the water and he wrapped it round my dripping wet
body. I looked up into his deep grey eyes full of concern, I let out another deep breath.
"Draco I'm pregnant," I said, his eyes went wide, he stepped back causing me to grab the towel
wrapped round me quickly before it fell. He steadied himself, staring at the floor running
his fingers through his hair again allowing the news to sink in.
He looked at me sharply, his eyes darkened and narrowed slightly, and for the first time ever,
I feared what Draco would do next. I became more scared then he was at the current moment.
