"Please leave me alone to morn my own loss"
"Who did you loss, family?"
Kenshin gulped, hoping he hadn't upset her because when he said those words she became very quiet, finally she replied.
"Yes"
She looked so miserable and sad that Kenshin literally felt her anger and deep emotions, at least now he knew why she was so upset. Her clothes were still wet with blood because she had not let Megumi lay a single finger on her, too afraid that this might all be a trick and they might try to kill her. Her brown hair draped over her shoulders, covering her face, but Kenshin knew she was crying.
"Do you want to talk about it?"
"No!"
The girl cried, knowing that if she told them what had happened they throw her out on the streets yelling "DOG!" and attack her with pitchforks and weapons that the town people had done before. She didn't want them to chase her away because now she had no where to go but that dark forest, and she ha already made up her mind never to go there again no matter what happened.
"What's you name?"
She asked warily as she lifted her head making her pretty blue eyes visible.
"HimaruBattousai."
It took Kenshin a few seconds to reply, her pretty face and deep shiny eyes stunned him so much that he couldn't speak. Something in her eyes looked dark and evil, but he shook off those thoughts. Silence followed his words. He jumped with fright as the door suddenly jerked open and slammed back against the wall. In the door way stood the panting Sagara Sanosuke. He barged into the room, not even noticing the girls presence.
"Kenshin the town needs your" he stopped when he met the eyes of girl sitting in the corner, "Sayo?"
She was starting to get annoyed by them reminding her of that person so much, it frustrated her to think of what had happened to hermother.
"My name is Renee Sogirouz, not Sayo Madalia, not Sayo, Renee!"
They were a bit surprised seeing as she yelled those words out with so much frustration that it would of made anyone wonder if the girl sitting in the corner was really talking.
"Leave me be please I don't want to talk, not to you, Himaru Battousai or you."
She pointed at Sanosuke with annoyance and stood on her wobbly feet, leaning against the wall acting as though she might fall over if she didn't have support.
Sanosuke seemed hurt as he walked out of the room without another word, his head held low, upset.
Kenshin sighed knowing that she had reminded him of Sayo, and probably even rose his hopes, thinking somehow she was still alive but it had almost been a year since she died and he was still frustrated. Suddenly he became very mad at the smug girl standing in front of him.
"You don't have to raise your voice, this one will leave you to yourself now."
Kenshin walked out of the room looking calm but feeling mad. Who did she think she was to yell at them like a lord did his servants and hurt his friends. He didn't like this girl and he had barely even met her, but he didn't want to get to know a girl that thought she was better than every one else, still he wondered, why did she look so much like Sayo?
"DINNER!!"
Kaoru called. Kenshin was happy to hear those words; he was hungry.

Moonlight poured over the Kimaya dojo as night came once again. Everything was silent expect for the sound of crickets songs in the distance. Through the darkness, a figure stumbled in the shadows. It was Renee. She sighed quietly to herself as she moved gingerly through the darkness, each step she took was completely silent, not once did she make a sound. She had to get out of here, these people had been so nice to her and she didn't want anyone to get hurt. Besides she knew they wouldn't want her if they figured out who she was, so she thought it was better this way. Sneaking off into the night and returning to the forest so she couldnt hurt anymore people. She scanned the walls and saw the two wooden doors that lead out of the dojo, but it would make too much noise if she tired to open them, so she had to find another way out.
She walked around scanning the walls and finally found what she was looking for. In the garden, thick green vines were strung all over the walls, a perfect way to climb out. Renee jumped onto the wall and dug her finger nails into the green vegetation, pulling herself up with each step. It was easy for her because she was so light, but as she slowly climbed she could feel her strength seeping out of her. She clung to the vine with desperation, if she fell somehow would hear her and she would have to tell them everything, but it was becoming harder and harder for her to stay in this position. If she tried to take another step up she'd fall back and hit the ground, but she would fall anyway if she didn't move.
