Snow Fox (A Hiei Story) #1

You looked around you. Everything was dark and it was cold. You saw a dull light in the distance so you started towards it. When you got there, you wished you hadn't. You saw your mothers body in a pool of blood. Her blood was soaking in the layer of snow that was around you. You heard a dripping noise and you turned towards it, dreading what you might find. Your dad was hanging from a wall, an ice spear peircing his heart as his lifeless eyes stared at you in horror. You tried to scream, but nothing came out. Instead, you ran in the other direction. You ran for about a minute untill you tripped on something. You looked back and saw someone sticking out their foot. He was tall and had dark red hair. He had bright purple eyes, with a white headband right above them. He extended his hand to you and you grabbed it, pulling yourself up. He put his arms around you, and you stiffened. You felt different in his arms, not in a good way either. But you really wanted to talk to someone. He put a small black choker necklace on your neck, and brushed your short snow white hair out of your red eyes. You felt a little more comfortable and he smiled lightly.
"It's ok. I'll protect you. You can come to me and tell me whatever you need." He said softly.
His voice was calm a reassuring. You felt the impulse to listen to him. He could be the way to excape your life. Your horrible life where your beat and abused by your foster fother and foster mother. You desprately wanted to believe this guy.
"How... how do I find you?" You asked, timidly.
"I'll come to you soon. By the way, my name's Hishoku." He replied.
You looked at his eyes. They were very pretty, but they frightened you. You shrugged it off and he stepped away. He smirked and waved before disapearing.
~End Dream~
You woke up panting. When you were in Hishoku's arms, you felt safer. Not that that was saying much. You got ready and quickly put on your school uniform. (You'll see it in the results) You grabbed your backpack and rushed downstairs. You grabbed an apple and ran out the door, safely avoiding your 'father'. You ran down the street and to the school. You saw a group of boys that you hadn't seen before, but you ignored it. You ran into the school and you caught up with your best friend, Shinka. He brushed his brown hair out of his eyes and smiled at you. He was every girls dream guy. He was nice, charming, and cute. You didn't think about him like that though. His brown-gold eyes stared at you as you walked to class.
"What is it?" You asked.
"Nothing." He said.
"Are you alright?" He asked, his deep voice disturbing your thoughts.
"I'm fine. Why?" You asked.
He shrugged and you continued on to class. Finally, when you sat down in your seat, you got time to think.
Up in front, the teacher was introducing the new students. You looked at them and listened to their names.
The tallest of the bunch stepped forward and said, "My name's Kazuma Kuwabara!"
He looked increadably stupid. He had orange hair and beady eyes. Next up was a guy with short black hair and brown eyes.
"I'm Yusuke Urameshi." He said, grinning.
After that was a guy with long red hair and emerald eyes. He stepped forward and smiled politely.
"I am Suichi Minamino. It's a pleasure to meet you all." He said, earning millions of girl sighs.
A short guy, about your height, with red eyes and black hair with a white starburst stepped forward.
"Hiei Jaganshi." He said coldly before stepping back.
Even with his cold behavior, he got many sighs. You looked away from them and out the window you were sitting next to. Two of the new kids sat next to you. It was Suichi and Hiei. You smiled gentally to them before looking away again.
After school you took the long way home, wanting to avoid your parents. You heard something move nearby and the guy from your dream stepped out of the shadows. You were in the forrest because that was the longest route, so no one was around. He smiled and stepped forward.
