Breaking His Heart Of Ice (A Sesshomaru Story) Part Nine

You wake up the next morning feeling a little cold. Yawning and streching before you sit up, you see that the ground is covered in a thin sheet of snow. * What, its snowing already. Man do I hate snow.* Rin seeing you awake jumped to her feet and hurried towards you. " Hey Lindsay how did you sleep?" " Fine and you?" "Good. Thanks for your sweater thing too, its really warm." and with that she went back to Sesshomaru to help him with the fire. You get up to go help them with the fire but you trip over something. Sesshomaru's fluffy thing had been covering you. He looked back at you and said " I thought you might be cold" and went on working on the fire again. You get up, taking the fluffy thing, and walk over to where Sesshomaru was. " Thank you." you say handing his fluffly back to him. " You take it for now." was all he said. He finally got the fire started and you and Rin crawled close to it to gather its warmth. Sesshomaru took out a bottle with a liquid in it. He brought it over to the fire and poured the liquid in the pan that was propped above the fire. You knew then it was soup. " After you eat we will be going back to the castle Rin." Sesshomaru said looking at Rin who nodded her head. He then looked at you and said " I don't care if you come. Just don't cause any trouble if you do." and he started stirring the soup again. " So are you going to come with us Lindsay?" Rin asked you. " I think I will. Maybe it will be fun. Plus I don't have anywhere else to go." Rin smiled and continued warming herself up. So after the soup was done both you and Rin got a bowl and start eating. " Good as usual." Rin said taking big gulps. You looked at Sesshomaru, who was looking at you, and smiled. He stared for a few seconds and turned his head. You just continued to eat. By the time both of you were done eating, about two inches of snow had fallen. " I'm full." Rin said jumping up and patting her stomach. " Both of you are ready?" Sesshomaru asked getting up from his spot. " Yup!" both of you yelled at the same time while putting out the remainder of the fire. The three of you walked the bumpy hills of snow, following Sesshomaru's lead. About twenty minutes in your hike Rin takes a snowball and throws it at you. She laughed and throw another one at you but it missed. You picked up some snow, forming it into a ball and throwing it at Rin hitting her in the leg. You two have a snowball fight while keeping up with Sesshomaru. Walking up a hill you picked up some snow and waited for Rin to catch up with you. " Think I can hit Sesshomaru?" you whipser to her. " I don't think you should do that. He might get mad." she whispered back. You shrugged your shoulders. " But I think you should." Rin told you. " Okay, wait until we get to the top of this hill." she nodded her head. You picked up some extra snow and made sure you packed it down good. You reach the top of the hill. " You ready?" you say. " Yup." You brought your hand back ready to throw it. " Go, go ,go!" Rin whispered a little louder. " Here we go." and you brought your hand foward about to release it but someone grabbed your wrist. You see Sesshomaru standing in front of you. He was just staring at you. " Ummm.. Hello..." you say kind of blushing but he probably didn't notice because your face was already flushed by the cold. You take a little step back trying to get away from his grasp. Forgetting about the hill you just climbed, you slipped down it dragging Sesshomaru along, tumbling all the way down. You guys stopped at the bottom of the hill with Sesshomaru now laying on top of you, his hand still on your wrist. " Ouch." you say opening your eyes and turning your head only to see Sesshomaru glaring at you. He looked at you and it was like he was searching for something. Your heart was ready to jump out of your thoart any second. " Sorry." you say kind of choking it out. He just kept on staring at you an you stared at him losing control of your thoughts and actions. You couldn't help it though. Taking matters in your hands, you raised you head only for your lips to meet with his. He was in complete shock at first but then he soon relaxed. You take your free hand moving it behind his head and pulling him down. He let go of your wrist and used that hand to cup you face making the kiss deeper. He ran his tounge over your lips as if asking for permission. You were about to part your lips when you heard Rin call out your names and the both of you seperated quickly. Rin made it down the hill slipping as well. Sesshomaru got up and walked off without saying a word. * I wonder if he is mad at me?* " Lindsay are you alright?" Rin asked getting up and dusting the snow off her. " Yeah. I'm fine." and the both of you headed in the direction Sesshomaru went. * Hope he's not made at me.*
