On a looming cliff I was looking down at the forest, which was looking back up menacingly. It was night-time and the pouring rain chilled you to the bone. The dim stars were begging me to move, to move back, before I fell.
I tried taking a step back, but before I knew it, I was falling; falling hard through the thick and gloomy air. Before I felt the deadly ground, someone caught me.
I jumped out of my raised, queen bed with my knife ready in hand. I was breathing heavily while I searched my bedroom for any type of creature.
When I found nothing, I sunk to the ground and leaned against my bed. I put my head between knees and started to control my breathing.
"There was nothing. It was just a dream." I breathlessly told myself.
I looked up and out my window and saw the magnificent colors of the setting sun.
"Sh!t."
I had overslept again.
It was nice to sometimes just walk around without having to look over your should and be ready for an attack.
"I wonder how people don't notice."
The vampire world was still a secret to the major population of the world, but I was thankful. I was glad that they didn't have nightmares of the creatures of the night.
Oh well, at least I got my rest.
I went into my bathroom and took a cold shower to get rid of any thoughts of my dream; only letting hot water run down when shampooing.
When I was done with my morning preparations, I got dressed and left the apartment.

Ethan's Point of View
I woke up at the last setting ray.
I was going to look for her tonight.
I wanted to talk to her; I wanted to know what made her tick.
I got dressed and went out into the night sky.

Emera's Point of View
I sat at, yet another coffee shop. I looked towards the almost deserted streets and looked up at the glistening sky. The stars were mournful.
Something different will happen tonight.
I drank my last gulp of the Carmel Espresso and stood up from the metal chair near the window.
After I had pushed the chair in, I left.
The air spiraled around me and made my hair feel like it was part of it.
I walked down the deserted street towards the park, where I had a feeling that I should had to be there.
Fuck.
"It's never been utterly deserted."
I had goose bumps all over my arms and I kept shivering from the quiet.
I had a feeling if I looked back, I would see the coffee house and the streets busy again, but I didn't want to turn back.
I wrapped my sweater closer to me and kept walking towards the closed-down park.
When I got there, one thought ran through my head.
What the

Ethan's Point of View
It seemed unusually quiet towards my destination. I didn't know where I was headed, but I just followed my instinct.
When I was a hundred feet away from the spot where impulse took me, I saw a group of people crowding around something, more like someone.
They seem like animals. But they're not vampires.
"At least not the ones I know."
I only then noticed Emera staring at the same group of people, but with a horrified and furious face.
I stepped into the shadows, so nobody could see me, but I could see all.
Let's see what this will lead to.
"Good night to come out."
Let the fun begin.

Emera's Point of View
hell?
I saw shapes of people, slayers, crowding a familiar looking girl...
