Egyptian Thieves: Runaway Attacker -part 33B-
Bakura slowly stirred. His heartbeat came back slowly. His breathing came raspy at first but then cleared. /Re-Rezzel!/ he coughed.
He then heard yelling coming from outside the room. /Merik! What is wrong with you? Youre never drunk!?!/ Kanum screams.
/Uhhhh.../ he moans. /What has happened?/ He pushes himself up out of bed and looks around the room. /Rezzel?/ he calls, quite loudly.
The yelling stops. He hears footsteps running towards the room. Kanum comes bursting through the door.
/Bakura!/ he yells, seeing Bakura sitting upright. He runs across the room and grabs Bakura in a big hug. /Oh man, we all thought you were dead!/
/Wheres Rezzel?/ Bakura cuts across. Kanum lets go of Bakura.
/I dunno. She was in here?/ he says confused.
/Wheres Merik?/ Bakura asks.
/In the kitchen out cold and wasted,/ Kanum replies.
/Right, Im going after Rezzel,/ Bakura says walking across the room, calm as ever.
/But, you cant! You just died! And youve been out for a week! And besides which you dont know where she went?/ Kanum calls after Bakura.
/I dont. Atemu will,/ Bakura says, walking out of the room, down the hallway, across the main hall and up the stairs.
/But...Bakura!/ Kanum screams after him, but Bakura doesnt stop. Kanum sighs, then gives up.
Bakura reached the top of those stairs and clambered onto a horse. He rides off into the night, heading towards Atemus palace.

Egyptian Thieves: Surprise Summon -part 34B-
Bakura slid off the horse and onto flat ground. He groaned in pain and clutched his stomach. //Rezzel...// he thought, and the thought of you got him moving again.
/Halt! Who goes there?/ he heard a guard call.
/Dammit!/ he groaned.
/Who goes there?!/ he heard again. He stumbled forward out of the shadows, towards the guards, not showing them his face.
/Let me pass,/ he mumbled. /I wish to talk to the Pharaoh./
/No one sees the Pharaoh, especially not at this hour one guard says, poking a threatening spear at Bakura.
/What is your business with the Pharaoh?!/ the second guard called, loud enough to wake half the town, even though Bakura was right infront of him.
/I wish to speak with him. He will wish to see me too, regardless of the hour,/ Bakura said, still looking straight down at the ground.
He then felt the spear hit him on the shoulder. It was poking into him, just the handle, pushing him down. He fell down on his knees. He was too weak to fight.
/Who are you, man? What is your name? Show us your face!/ The guards demanded. Bakura just growled at them lowly. /Show us your face!/ the guard demanded again, this time holding his spear tip up to Bakuras cheek.
Bakura growled at them again. //Im never going to get anywhere unless I do as they say...// he thought. Slowly he raised his head, showing his face in the moonlight.
The guards gasped. /The thief Bakura!/
They threw him down on the ground, before the throne. Atemu walked into the room, walked up to the throne and sat down. /My Lord, we beg your forgiveness, for this interruption, at this hour-/ One of the guards started.
/Yes, yes. Why did you wake me up?/ Atemu groaned, very tired and not noticing Bakura on his knees, hands tied infront of him and gagged.
/My Lord, this intruder wished to speak with you,/ the guard replied.
/This couldnt wait 'til morning?/ Atemu replied, still not noticing Bakura.
/He demanded that he speak with you, right away sire. He said you would want to see him as well,/ the guard replied.
/And who is it, that I wish to see?/ Atemu replied, staring at the guard. The guard kicked Bakura in the back, pushing him down on his forearms. Bakura instantly glared up at Atemu. Atemu looked down at Bakura with nothing but shock on his face. /Bakura!/ He growled lowly. /Release his gag, let the bastard speak!/ Atemu snapped. /What do you want?/ The guard cut Bakuras gag and bind.
/Watch the hair fool!/ Bakura growled at him, as he saw some of his precious silver white hair fall to the ground. /Leave us Akuna,/ Atemu said to the guard. The guard walked out of the room and shut the doors behind him. /Now, what do you want?/ Atemu repeated. Bakura stood up straight, and folded his arms.
/Wheres Rezzel?/ he growled at Atemu.
/What?!/ Atemu shouts in shock. /You dont know where she is?!/ he half screams.
/She ran away,/ Bakura growled.
Atemu stared in disbelief, then changed his tone. /Ha! It seems she doesnt love you anymore!/ he mocked.
/Dont get your hopes up, fool. She thought I was dead!/ Bakura just growled back.
/It wouldve been nice if you were!/ Atemu mumbled to himself. /Where has she gone?/ Atemu asked.
/I was hoping you would know,/ Bakura growled again.
/How would I know where she is?! Youre the one who kidnapped her!/ Atemu shouted.
/I hardly kidnapped her! She ran away to me!/ Bakura shouted back.
/I doubt that!/ Atemu shouts back, summoning his three God Kas in his rage.
/You want to fight me for her, Pharaoh?/ Bakura says simply. He concentrates on his Ka, trying to summon Diabound. But then suddenly his attempts fail. As much as he concentrates he cant summon his Ka.
/Ha! Too, weak to summon Diabound are we?/ Atemu mocks.
/Never!/ Bakura shouts back and concentrates harder on Diabound.
*Bakuras POV*
//Diabound! Where are you?// you thought. Suddenly you felt weird. You felt that same cold suffocating clench on your heart as when you had the last vision. You heard Atemu gasp in shock, but just like before he seemed so distant. Everything seemed to fade into the fog again. //No! Not again!// you thought.
/Bakura!/ Atemu yelled, sounding angry. You fell down onto your knees and then forward onto your hands. It took all your strength just to stop you from falling flat on your face.
Then the floor fell away. You felt the ground shifting. The stone seemed to fall away beneath you, but it couldnt. Though all you could see was fog.
Then you saw it. /Diabound!/ you screamed. You saw it being attacked. /Akunadin!/ you roared. He was attacking your Ka.
//Wait! How did Diabound get here?// you think. You look and see whos controlling Diabound.
/Rezzel!/

Egyptian Thieves: Indestructible -part 35B-
Bakura snapped his head up. /Wheres Akunadin?/ he asked.
/What?/ Atemu replied. /Explain whats going on here first!/
Bakura stood up, drew his sword and marched over to Atemu. /Where is Akunadin?/ He demanded.
Atemu drew his sword and pointed it dangerously at Bakura. He stopped but not out of fear of the sword. /Explain whats going on and then Ill tell you where he is!/ Atemu said.
Bakura looked at Atemus sword, then quickly made a stab at Atemu. But Atemu blocked the attack.
They continued sword fight, until Bakuras stomach got the better of him and he dropped the sword and collapsed, clutching his stomach in pain. Atemu kicked his sword away, and pointed his own at Bakuras chest.
/Why do you want to know?/ Atemu growled.
Bakura glared at the sword, not looking Atemu in the eye. /Its Rezzel.../ he growled.
/What?!/ Atemu exclaimed.
/Shes gone to him. Shes gone for revenge,/ Bakura said, still glaring at the sword.
/Revenge for what?/ Atemu asked carefully. /The murder of her father...and her brother...and my family and friends...and, she thinks, my murder!/
/Rezzel.../ Atemu says almost dreamily, obviously not paying attention to what Bakura said. He pauses for a long moment, and then puts his sword away and offers his hand to Bakura. Bakura just looks at it. He then looks up at Atemu. /Im doing this for her,/ Atemu says simply.
Bakura takes his hand, runs over and grabs his sword and they both run out, headed for Akunadin.
