~With The Guys~ Yusuke stands there, staring at the screen, that Yusuki was just on, now all static. "who was that Yusuke?" Kurama asks looking at the static covered screen. Yusuke just closes the compact and looks at the others with a grim expression. "We gotta go back home. right now." Kuwabara, Shugo, and Kurama nod but Hiei looks defiant. "why do we gotta? not like someone's dieing or anything." "actually Hiei..." Yusuke looks at him with a mixture of fear, sympathy, and a bit of anger. "someone is." They all gasp. "who-" Kurama starts but Yusuke cuts him off. "now we must go." Yusuke runs off to where the portal was. They all follow. "where is it?" Shugo asks, the portal being no where in sight. "Koenma we're done with the mission open it back up." Yusuke shouts into the sky. Suddenly the compact rings, which Hiei snatches and answers. "what?" "sorry guys but the portal system crashed. No portals can open." Boton says. "so we can't get home?!" "exactly"
~Back At Home ~ Yusuki's POV~ "please mom just wake up!" You cry into Serena's chest. Your ears perk up as Sakura starts crying upstairs. You wipe your tears and get up then run upstairs to Sakura's room. "shh baby." You say, picking up your sister from her crib. Since she was only about 6 months, you could easily pick her up. "shh." you say and take her downstairs into the living room. You place her in her play pen then go back over to Serena. "mom..." You say, shaking her. You place your ear on her chest. "oh no..." you shake your head. "no..." you collapse, crying hysterically. Serena had stopped breathing, her heart beat was gone.
