Highschool Dropout [11][And Then I Sneezed In His Face]

It took a while to update because of the evil plaigiariser. I was kind of freaked out and worried and not in a stable mental state. I'm using two banners this time, because I just felt like putting both of them here. This part took forever to write, I hope you guys like it. It might be kind of heavy. Banner made by Phoebe. I wuv her forever. This banner is the shizzle.

We were sitting in Malcolm's black Mitsubishi Challenger, hardly talking to each other. Malcolm and Lucinda sat at the front, Arthur and I got the back seat. My sundress was drenched in water and I was shivering under Arthur's jacket, which was also wet. After about ten minutes of standing in the furious thunderstorm, we finally decided to get out of there and get something warm to drink.
ACHOO! Oh, fantastic, I'm catching a cold.
The tires screeched loudly as Malcolm pulled up by a cafe not too far from home. Apparently Malcolm is one of those crazy angry drivers.
I clumsily got out back into the pouring rain, attempting to cover my already wet hair with Arthur's already wet jacket. We ran inside, all four of us sighing happily as our bodies felt the dry warmness radiating from the fireplace. We walked over to the counter and scanned the drink menu. It didn't take long for me to decide on a hot chocolate, but Lucinda seemed to be one of those people who take forever to make a simple choice.
"Maybe I should get a babychino? Or a mocha? Or a chocolate lava latte? What do you think, Autumn?" She turned to me, her hair gracefully flying over her shoulder, despite the fact it was wet.
ACHOO! I sneezed quite loudly, just as I was about to answer her question.
The guy behind the counter, who until now was typing something on a laptop, closed it with a snap and looked up at me.
"Matt?!" Arthur yelled out in surprise, staring at his brother as if he was a mad scientist and Matt was a new type of fungi he managed to breed. Ok, that's a very bad metaphor. I was surprised as well. So surprised in fact, that I sneezed again.
"What the hell are you all doing here, dripping water all over the floor that I fucking have to clean?" Well, you can't say Matt is incredibly polite either.
"Actually, that's your own damn business, if that's what you have to do as a lifestyle. We are here to get a coffee, and I'm having a word with your manager, Melkins, if I find that your service is not up to my standards." Malcolm said smoothly, stepping forward from behind Lucinda. Bad move.
"The manager is my mate, so stop threatening me and get the hell out of - "
ACHOO! This.has.got.to.stop. But then, everyone was just kind of ignoring me anyway, and not caring that I could be getting pneumonia, so I decided I might as well go on sneezing until I die.
"You are not kicking me out of here, you degrading imbecile! I'm here to get a damn coffee, and you better wear gloves while making it, I don't want your scum in it." Malcolm announced rather loudly. The few customers stared at him with curiosity.
Lucinda, who until now was standing quietly at the side and not interfering, decided to settle the argument.
"Come on, we can just co-operate and find a compromise... "
She was kind of interrupted when Matt jumped over the counter, grabbed Malcolm by the collar and started pulling him towards the door. Very Jackie Chan-ish. Malcolm didn't want to be pulled away though, and tripped Matt.
In a matter of seconds, they both ended up rolling around on the floor punching each other and swearing.
Lucinda shrieked in a very high-pitched voice. You know those birds that manage to wake you up in the morning right in the middle of a good dream? That's pretty much what she sounded like. I decided to run over and separate them, but was dragged away by Arthur, who took up the job himself.
Matt was clearly winning in the fight, but he was wasting too much energy throwing punches at the floor and just wherever. Malcolm, who must have worked out every day, was mainly trying to avoid getting hit. I concluded that Matt probably needs anger-management courses or at least therapy. Finally, Malcolm managed to roll away and shakily stand up, taking Arthur's outstretched hand. Matt got up as well, swiping blood from his lower lip. He looked surprisingly like a Vampire.
Both were breathing heavily and looking at each other with extreme hatred.
"I told you, faggot, get out" Matt pointed at the glass door of the cafe, and Malcolm moved to oblige.
Just as Matt turned away to walk back to the counter, Malcolm lunged at him, attacking from behind. As if in slow motion, both went crashing through the window, sending brilliantly sparkling pieces of broken glass in all directions.
I screamed involuntarily and ran through the newly emerged gap, cutting my sandaled foot on one of the glass pieces in the process. It was still raining, and now blood was mixing with the murky puddles of water outside.
Malcolm opened his eyes, looked around, and started digging in his pocket. He pulled out his car keys.
"Are you OK?" I asked him in a small voice. He had a few obvious cuts and bruises on his hands and face.
"Fine" He replied hoarsely, watching Arthur and Lucinda also climb through the window, treading carefully not step on the glass like I did. "C'mon, we're leaving."
ACHOO "Leaving?!" I exclaimed, "What about Matt? How can you leave now?"
"I can, and I will. I'm going to see the family doctor. Lucie is coming with me, and so are you, Autumn. Your mother said I was responsible for you. Melkins can do whatever the hell he wants."
"Well, I've got to stay here, don't I?" -Arthur said reluctantly, looking down on his brother with indifference.
"Whatever. Come on, Autumn!" He said, starting towards his car.
"Nothing you can do can make me come with you." - I protested, swallowing a few bitter raindrops in the process. "I'll tell my mum it was my decision to stay here. Don't worry, she wouldn't mind."
"I don't care, I'm going anyway. See ya 'round." With that, he opened the passenger door and bodily forced the whimpering Lucinda into the car, got in himself, and sped off at breakneck speed.
"Thanks for staying." Arthur said with a small smile. "I'll go call my dad, he'll come pick us up and maybe take Matt to the hospital."
"Right." I watched him walk inside the cafe towards the counter. The customers who gathered inside near the broken window parted as he walked through. I felt like I was in a freak TV show, as they all stood there, watching silently.
I crouched down and cleared a patch of asphalt, moving aside the glass crumbles, and kneeled alongside Matt. His hand was surprisingly warm as I picked it up to check the pulse. There was a pulse, all right.
"Wake up, Matt. Please wake up." I whispered, pushing away the strands of wet blonde hair that stuck to his face. I wiped away the blood from his mouth with the hem of my dress and shook him slightly. "You're fine, please; you've got to wake up."
ACHOO! And then I sneezed in his face.
Well, not literally. I managed to cover my mouth and everything, since it was almost second nature with all the manner guidance from my mother.
I suddenly felt very dizzy, but ignored it. Where's Arthur, dammit? I tried to see through the small immobile crowd of people, but couldn't. I gaped up at them helplessly, not knowing what to expect. Support? How could I expect support from a group of faceless, nameless, curious strangers?
"Matt..." I whined again, felling the pulse on his neck this time.
My hand jerked up when I felt more warm blood. It flowed down my fingers, dissolving in the rain. There was a cut on the side of his neck, not going through any important arteries, but deep nonetheless.
"You have to wake up. You have to be alright. You just have to, Matt. Please..."
