A month has past since Ryan asked me out. It has been one long month and I wouldn't change it for the world, especially since Pete decided to sign Panic! (which is amazing), I quit my job, and Ryan made these days so wonderful. I couldn't be more happy for them and in celebration of these events, Ryan is taking me and him out to dinner. He said to dress up, so I'm going to wear my black strapless dress that poofs out at the bottom, almost like a ballerina's dress, but more dressy.
"You look amazing," Ryan said looking at me as I headed down the stairs from my room. I smiled at him as he kissed my lips lightly.
"You don't look so bad yourself," I said looking at Ryan who was wearing a tux. "and you cut your hair. It looks cute." I said running my fingers through his hair. He smiled at me.
"Thanks," He said kissing my lips again.
I smiled, then adding, "Of course it looks cute any way you do it, but I like it like this," I told him. He smiled once again, then taking my hand and using his other hand to open the door for me. I looked back behind me and thanked him, then realizing Brendon and Parker were watching us from the couch. Little buggers.
I gasped, "Ryan, it's beautiful! Thank you so much for bringing me here." I gushed as we entered this fancy restaraunt that was only lit by candles that were set in the middle of each table.
"Anything for you, Alex." He whispered. I kissed him on his cheek. He put one arm around my waist and went over to the waiter, who looked at us.
"Names?" He asked. He had this thick french accent... At least, I think it's French. I'm not the brightest crayon in the box when it came to languages. I can't even pronounce "Merci" right. It always came out sounding like Marci.
"Ross for two." Ryan told the waiter. He scanned the reservations list and then he highlighted our names off, took two menus and led us to the corner of the room. I hated being in the middle of places like this, or any place, because I feel like everyone is watching me. I smiled because Ryan remembered. He noticed that I was smiling and he smiled back, knowing why.
Right when we sat down, the waiter asked us what drinks we would like. I ordered a coke, seeing that I couldn't have wine yet, being that I was underaged and still in high school.
"Thank you so much. This means the world to me." I told him. Ryan grabbed my hand, kissing it lightly. I blushed at the gesture. He then let go of my hand and picked up his menu, reading it over. I did the same.
After reading the menu over a couple times I put my menu down, "Are you sure you can afford this?" I asked him, not questioning his wealth, but these prices were very high.
"Of course I can't, I was going to have you pay," Ryan said jokingly. He rolled his eyes playfully. "Of course I can. Get whatever your heart desires" He added. I smiled.
"I love it when you smile." Ryan said right before I picked up my menu again.
I put down my menu after choosing what I wanted and looked at Ryan, "You make me smile." I pointed out. Ryan was about to reply to the overly cheesy lines we were pulling off all night, when the waiter came.
"Are you ready, yet?" He asked us. We nodded.
"I'll have the New York Prime Rib steak. Medium rare please." I said with a small smile, closing my menu and handing it to the waiter.
"I'll have the same." Ryan said, closing his menu as well, handing it to the man. He nodded, scribbling down the orders.
"Your orders will be here as soon as possible."
I smiled widely as Ryan and I exited the restaraunt, "Thank you so much." I said. "The dinner was amazing."
"Hun, you don't have to thank me," Ryan said kissing my lips. "I just wanted to celebrate with you... I love you so much, Alex." He said, brushing the hair out from my eyes, staring at me with affection. My heart almost leaped through my chest.
Love.
"I love you too, Ryan." I said. He leaned in slowly and kissed me, smiling against my lips. This is what perfection means. Too bad Parker and Brendon weren't having the same luck in their relationship as Ryan and I were having at this moment because when we got home, Parker was bawling and Brendon looked like he was going into an emotional breakdown.
"Parker? Brendon?" I asked as Ryan and I entered my house. I heard sobs. This isn't good I thought to myself as we entered the living room. Parker was sitting on the couch, sobbing into her hands, her knees at her chest, her arms resting on them. Brendon was sitting on the ground agains the wall staring off into space.
"What's going on?" Ryan asked.
Brendon's gaze shifted to the two of us, "Parker's pregnant." He said... Actually more like mumbled.
"WHAT?!" Ryan and I both gasped out at the same time, looking at Parker and Brendon in disbelief. "When did this happen?!" Ryan asked. I had forgotten he didn't know what happened when I had ran out of my room. He probably thought that they were just making out in my room, not moving into Brendon's room to do... Things.
Brendon closed his eyes, "I'm not upset about the baby," He said. "but Parker wants an abortion."
