"Emma don't you want to say bye to your friends?' Emma's mom pushed open the door to her daughters room, expectation in her eyes.

"What friends?" Emma stared over at her mom, tucking her knees up under chin.

"Maybe if you had some friends you wouldn't have to go to this island." Mrs. Walker sat down next to her daughter on the bed, receiving a very hateful look.

"Just leave me alone mom." Emma snapped, "I've excepted my fate. I'm going to an island with a bunch of criminals. I get it."

"You're a criminal. Just like them." Even though Emma knew it was the truth it still stung. No one likes facing the dim reality that they are just as lowly as everyone else. It just isn't cool.

"If you would have bought me some stuff to experiment with." Emma stated dryly.

"I don't want to hear it Emma. I have before and I don't want to again." Mrs. Walker stood up, glaring down at her daughter.

"Whatever you say mom." Emma rolled her eyes.

"Are you packed?"

"Yes mom." Emma muttered, "I can't believe I'm only aloud to bring one suitcase."

"Well you are. Bring it down to the car."

"This isn't fair." Emma snapped, anger boiling in her veins.

"Life's a bitch." Mrs. Walker began down the stairs, "Have fun with it." Emma grabbed her extra large suitcase, dragging it down the stairs.

"Need help?" Her brother Ethan snickered, grabbing the bag from her hands.

"No." Emma mumbled but did nothing to stop him. Instead she leaned against the wall, waiting for her brother to say something more.

"I can't believe that your the bad kid." Ethan grumbled, "My friends are never going to shut up about this."

"Whatever." Emma sat down on the couch, watching her brother carry the suitcase outside.

At least he has friends.

"Whatever." Ethan mimicked.

"Dad." Emma stared over at her dad on the couch next to her, "I'm so sorry."

"It's O.K." He didn't look away from the T.V. though. He hadn't looked his daughter in he eye since they found the stolen goods.

"I really am." She wrapped her arms around her father and for the first time in a long while she cried...And he cried with her.

"This is going to be exciting!" Katty jumped onto her bed, "Amazing! Adventurous!" She did a twirl, collapsing down next to her friends.

"Is that so?" Amy laughed.

"Yes it is! I'll find a criminal boyfriend to...You watch me! It will of course have to be the one that's like...Well really bad. But they're all criminals they have got to be." Katty mused, leaning back into a stack of pillows.

"In case you don't remember." Jen pointed out, "You're innocent how do you know they won't be?"

"I don't." Katty shrugged, "But I hope they aren't!"

"Kat!" Amy and Jen yelled in shock, bursting into fits of laughter.

"Katty are you ready?" Katty's dad yelled from downstairs.

"Ehh Duh!" Katty responded, rolling her eyes even if he couldn't see.

"Don't get smart with me." Her dad snapped.

"Don't get smart with me." Katty mimicked and both of her friends giggled.

"You're so lucky you don't have to go to school anymore!" Amy pouted, "It's not fair."

"And we're starting high school!" Jen went on, "What are you going to do without you there to excite things?"

"Excite things yourself." Katty explained, "DUH!"

"You're the smart one." Jen pointed out.

"No one in school knows that." Katty crossed her arms, "And they don't need to EVER know. Right?"

"Right." They both muttered.

"SMILE!" Katty ordered, "I'll write ever single day if they allow me...Alright?"

"You are to hyper." Amy sighed as Jen nodded her head up and down.

"I take that as a compliment." Katty stuck out her lower lip, "So what do you think the people will be like?"

"They'll probably have piercing's." Jen stated.

"And died hair." Amy went on.

"I can't wait!" Katty shrieked.

"You are so strange." Jen muttered under her breath.

"Whatever!" Katty stuck out her tongue, "I want big big big big big hugs!" She threw her arms around her friends, squeezing as hard as she could.

"Can't...Breath." They choked out. Katty smiled, collapsing back into her bed.

"This is going to be awesome." Katty beamed, not scared at all. She was fearless...Well that was what she thought.

"I'd be terrified." Amy shivered.

"Ditto." Jen agreed.

"Losers." Katty teased, grabbing her suitcase, "Come on help me carry this hunk of junk to the car!"

Amy and Jen
"You wanted to say bye to me didn't you?" Roxy leaned into her boyfriend. He had invited her over to her house an hour before she was due to leave. He was one of the few she had let in and he had earned it. So he had to have something special planned for her.

"You could say that." Luke muttered, scooting away a bit so he could get a good look at his girlfriend of 4 years, "There's something I really need to tell you."

"I know what you're going to say." Roxy sighed, leaning back into the couch, "But we shouldn't say bye. We'll see each other again and anyone else on the island...Would never replace you."

"Roxy listen to me." Luke snapped, anger making his voice gruff. Roxy's eyes widened in shock. He had never yelled at her before. It reminded her to much of her father.

"What." Roxy willed her voice to sound strong. She wasn't going to allow him to get to her.

"It's over Roxy. You're leaving for a year and I know I won't be able to stay fateful." Luke stood up, his eyes on the ground.

"Of course you will." Roxy was trying to stay positive no matter how hard it was for her, "There's no reason why you wouldn't. I'll call or write if they allow me."

"I know I won't Roxy!" Luke growled. He had to tell her sooner or later and he figured he'd better tell her before she left, "I've cheated on you for 2 years."

"What." Roxy's heart felt ripped in two. Why had he told her? To make her feel like shit? To make her hate herself? To make her feel like she did something wrong?? Because that was exactly what he was doing.

"I'm sorry Roxy." Luke muttered, glad to have finally gotten it out. Roxy couldn't say the same.

"Sorry!" Roxy cried, "You're kidding." She molded all the pain into anger. She took away the tears and narrowed her eyes angrily, "Sorry doesn't cut it!"

"I think the legendary Roxy is going to cry." Luke was trying to be funny. He obviously didn't know when it was to soon for jokes.

"Over you." She hissed, "Never." She stomped out of the house, planning what to do when she got home. Her mom would be yelling at her. If she snuck past her into the bathroom she would have at least a half hour alone with her razor.

Luke
Panic surged through Chelsea.

"What's the results." Her throat felt dry. Her period was 2 days late...This could not be happening to her.

"THANK GOD!" Her sister cried, wrapping her sister in a tight hug, "Chelsea do not end up like me. Don't get pregnant when your so young...I was only 15 and look at me now. I don't even have a high school diploma."

"I won't either Carrie." Chelsea pointed out, "Because of this dumb shit with my joy riding."

"Chelsea I don't want you to end up like me." Carrie muttered, sitting down on her sisters bed.

"How long has it been since you've had sex." Chelsea asked, like it was the most normal question as she sat down next to her sister.

"Not since I had Crystal." Carrie answered.

"6 years!" Chelsea shrieked, "You're kidding!"

"No." Carrie shook her head, "And I'm damn proud of myself. I'm holding out for the right man."

"You've been dating Greg for the past 2 years!" Chelsea pointed out.

"If we EVER get married. And that's a big maybe...On our honeymoon we'll do it." Carrie had it all planned out. She was grossed out in herself when she became pregnant but she could never get rid of her daughter. So she had been cleaning herself up for the past 6 years. Crystal needed a good mother.

"How many times did you have sex before that?" Chelsea was disappointed in her sister to stay pure for so long. It was sad.

"Probably around 15." Carrie sighed, "It's sad I know."

"That's it?" Chelsea raised her eyebrows, then noticed the look from her sister, "At least I'm not pregnant." That struck a chord.

"You really do need to go to this island." Carrie took a deep breath.

"Like the guys won't be all over me." Chelsea waved the mere thought of a boy not liking her away.

"You're sleeping in hammocks."

"Shut up." Chelsea ran a brush through her hair, "I'm gorgeous...They won't be able to resist."

"Be good Chelsea." Carrie stood up, "Grab your things I'm driving you."

"Whatev." Chelsea grumbled, "Guys around here will have to go on without me." Carrie bit her tongue to stop from saying something she would later regret.

Carrie
"Josh I LOVE you!" A girl ran up to Jon's older brother as they did some last minute shopping for the island, "Can I have an autograph?"

"Of course." Josh smiled cockily, taking the picture the girl handed her, "And who's it to."

"Megan. That's spelled M-E-G-A-N. Can you sign it love Josh? Please please please!" The girl shrieked. Jon tried not to laugh. Ever since he had told that reporter that his brother couldn't even spell his own name without thinking about it anyone who asked for an autograph spelled their name.

"Of course." Josh handed her back the picture, that movie star smile on his face, "Now don't lose that."

"Never!" She waved as she skipped into the closest store.

"Maybe one day you'll be as famous as me." Josh gave his younger brother one of his looks, "Wait no you won't. You'll be to busy trying to keep out of juvie."

"Shut up." Jon growled.

"Baby." Josh mocked.

"Better hope no paparazzi overhears your lame ass insults." Jon retorted. It wasn't friendly bantering between 2 brothers either. They full out hated each other.

"I'm going home." Josh snapped, waving his arm for a cab.

"You got the money." Jon tried to push his way into the cab but Josh slammed the door.

"Well if you were me a random person on the street would give you a ride...Oh wait you're not me are you?"

"Josh." Jon banged on the window but the cab began to pull away. He hadn't earned his rep as the wild child for nothing. He jumped onto the trunk of the car. Josh looked back and a smile curled on his lips. Then the cab began to swerve and go faster. Jon held on. If he died it didn't matter anyway. Anything was better then isolation. No one would know who he was at the dumb ass place they were going.

"Take a picture!" A lady screamed as they whipped past. He would become famous...He'd show his brother.

Josh
"He's got to talk sooner or later." Derek's mom said, nerves shaking her voice.

"Mom you head downstairs." His sister Danielle, or Dani as everyone called her, ordered, "I'll talk to him." Dani shut the door as her mom walked away. Derek watched his sister as she skipped over to the bed.

"Derek what's wrong?" Dani grabbed his chin, forcing him to look at her.

"Aren't you scared of me?" Derek muttered. It was the first thing he had said in a week and Dani was proud of her achievement. She didn't show it though.

"Never." Dani shook her head, "Derek your the best brother ever and I'm going to miss you."

"I'm a god awful brother." Derek frowned.

"Someone is in a pissy mood." Dani said in disapproval, "Grow up Derek. You'll have fun."

"Dani you have no idea." Derek grumbled.

"Give me a hug." Dani opened her arms. Derek just stared at her, "Give me a hug Derek." Derek leaned in slowly, hugging his little sister.

"You deserve a better brother Dani." He mumbled.

"Derek you're perfect and I'll always be with you. The whole time your there...If you're ever feeling down think of me...And I'll be thinking of you. Look up at the moon and remember I'm looking at the same moon to." Dani leaned back on her brother bed, "K?"

"Where do you get this stuff?"

"The back of cereal boxes teaches you wonders. Now lets see a smile!" She put a finger on each of his cheeks, pushing them up, "TA DA!" Derek laughed. A small laugh but he still laughed.

"I love ya sis."

"I love you to Derek." She giggled, "Now lets get packing!" She ran over to a dresser and pulled it open, "Black...Black...Black." She threw his clothes out of the drawer.

"What." He smiled, creeping up behind her, "I like black."

"It's so saddish." She shrugged. Then he scooped her up, throwing her over his shoulder.

"Let me down!" She shrieked through laughter as she pounded her fists on his back. He spun her around before tossing her onto the bed.

"Black is awesome." He nodded his head before digging around in his drawers, "Better then this." He held up the pink shirt that she had bought him for his birthday as a joke.

"Pink is the new black!" Dani sat up, looking over at it, "Pink is happy Derek. Stay happy while you're away."

The football game is on at Tyler's house...We'll have to go back later...
