"Good morning, Roy." you groaned as you rolled back on your side away from him. Roy sat on the edge of the bed, fully dressed, and wide awake. You however, felt ill due to the vast amount of liquor you consumed the night before. "You have a fever..." he said worridly after he placed his hand on your forehead to check if you had a fever. "Im alright, Roy. I just had too much to drink last night, I'll be fine in another hour..." Roy looked down at you worridly before leaving the room only to return a moment later with a glass of water and some advil. He helped you sit up, before dropping the pill in your palm. "Take this it should make you feel better." you sighed before popping the pill in your mouth and washing it down with the water. "Thank you Roy." you said softly before leaning against his shoulder. "Ranpha, Gracia called. She said Collete was getting upset because you weren't there when she woke up." You looked at Roy nervously. "I have to go see her-" "What about Touya, Ranpha? Did you aleady think of what you were going to say to him?" You sighed and shook your head no. Roy gave out a sigh of his own before pulling you into his lap and wrapping his arms around your thin waist. "I didn't mean to get you more worried about the whole situation. It's just... I don't want you to walk into that house worried that somthing unexspected is going to occur-" "I know that." you cut him off and leaned against his chest. "But Collete had nothing to do with this, I'm not going to avoid seeing her because Touya is there..." Roy nodded and unwrapped his arms from your waist so you could get up and get dressed. "I still have all your clothes in the dresser, will it fit?" "Of course it will fit!" you growled before hitting him on the head. "OW! I didn't mean it like that!" Roy cried in his defence as you hit him once again. You sent Roy a glare before walking over to the dresser and rumaging through your clothes. "Just because I had your child doesn't mean I didn't work out to loose the baby weight" you mummbled to yourself while Roy escaped through the door worried you would strike him again. "I'm going to go start the car." he called from the hallway which you replied with a 'Humf!'. After throwing on a summer dress and fixing your hair in loose bannana curls, you picked up Hakubaito, Roy's favorite perfume on you, and sprayed some on your body. As you looked in the mirror you noticed your face was pale. You didn't fell any better but Collete, your beautiful little girl Roy fathered was waiting for you, and a fever wasn't going to stop you from seeing her. Roy was waiting paitently in the car and smiled when he saw you. "You look beautiful, Ranpha." Roy then chuckled when you blushed. "Stop teasing me Roy." you sighed and closed the car door. "I wasn't teasing, I was being honest." Roy said slowly as he leaned over and kissed you before pulling away and putting the car into referse. "I see your wearing that perfume." Roy said slyly and smirked when he noticed you blush once again. "It makes me want to pull of and throw you into the backseat, with me joining you of course." "Oh Roy, can't you be serious for once?" Roy smiled innocently and placed his right hand over your left, before tangling his fingers with your own. "You still have a fever." Roy said quietly as he drove through central towards your parents house. You nodded and gave Roy a weak smile before looking out the window. Roy continued to try and start a conversation but you couldn't speak, you were far too nervous. You knew Touya would be waiting there, wanting an explanation but you didn't know what to say. Just as you predicted, Touya was sitting by the window when you and Roy pulled into the driveway. "Roy..." you whispered nervously and tightened your grip on his hand. "We need to go inside... Collete is waiting." Nodding nervously you stepped out of the car to come face to face with Touya.

"T-Touya why aren't you inside?" you stuttured nervously. "I came to see if you were ok..." he said in a kind voice which confused you. Does he honestly not understand what happened last night? "I'm fine, just a little fever-" you instantly regretted saying so, for Touya moved forward and tried to place his lips on your forehead. Moving away quickly you left Touya confused and dashed into the house. "Is she ok?" Touya asked nervously as he watched you run inside. "She'll be alright, She's just worried about Collete." Touya turned to Roy and gave him a weak smile. "I'm not ignorant to what occured last night Mr. Mustang... I just can't stay mad at her." Roy nodded in agreement before walking towards the house himself. "Your not going to say anything?" Touya asked after he caught up with Roy. "What am I suppose to say? I'm not going to appologize if that's what you want. I don't regret what I did, your not the only one who loves her." Both men had made it inside the house to get warning gazes from both Maes and Gracia. "Do you know where Ranpha is, Gracia?" Touya asked pleadingly only to gain a "Shhhh!" from Gracia who had a sleeping Alicia in her lap. "She's upstairs with Collete, she said she'd speak with you later Touya- but as for you Roy, Collete has been asking for you." Roy nodded and hurried up the stairs to see his daughter. Touya sighed and sat down on the couch next to Gracia. "Collete used to ask for me. Before Roy came back into the picture everything was so simple, but now everything is falling apart!" Touya said quielty so he wouldn't wake Alicia. Gracia looked up at her husband worridly begging him for help. "I'm going to go but Alicia back into bed." she whispered before leaving the living room and Hughes to speak with Touya. Maes sighed sighed just as everyone else had that morning and sat down on the couch before giving Touya the same speach he had given you last night hoping it would some how explain your actions. "I see... So she loves him?" Maes kept silent not wanting to speak for you. "I don't want you to think she fooled you," Hughes said in your defence as he watched Touya grow angry. "She simply didn't understand her feelings..." Touya stood up and walked over to the coat hanger. "W-Wait where are you going?" Gracia called from the staircase. "To HQ, I need some time alone." Touya said quietly before slamming the door shut. You and Roy appeared on the staircase with Collete on Roy's shoulders. "Where did Touya go?" Collete asked innocently as she watched him pull out of the driveway. "Don't worry Collete, Touya had to go to work-" "But he promiced me he'd take me to the park!" Collete began to cry atop Roy's shoulders. "Collete honey, its alright Daddy and I will takr you to the park-" "No!" Collete cut you off and began to squirm against Roy's hold. Roy took Collete off his shoulders so she wouldn't loose ballance with her constant squirming and fall. "Collete it's alright, Touya will be back later." Roy said softly and held Collete to his chest. "Everythings going to be alright, Collete... I promice." Roy said softly into Collete's blonde hair instantly soothing the young child. Unfortunetly for you, Collete's anger suddenly turned on you. Her head left her fathers comforting chest and snapped towards you, tickling Roy's nose with her blonde curls. "Its all your fault mommy! You left Touya all alone, and now he ran away!" You stared at your young child in disbelief, she had never looked at you with such hatred in her eyes. Wanting to calm her down you stepped forward to take her in your arms only to be pushed away by Collete. "Collete please I-" "No Mommy, don't touch me!... I-... I hate you!" "Collete! Why would you say that?" Gracia Maes and Roy said in unison while Collete ran upstairs with Alicia running up behind her; she had woken up once Collete raised her voice. Roy looked towards you worridly only to confirm his fears when he noticed tears where beginning to gather at your chocolate brown eyes. "Ranpha you know she didn't mean that..." he started only to be interupted when the phone rang. Gracia hurried off to the kitchen to answer the phone while your father went up the stairs to talk to Collete leaving Roy and you alone in the living room. "Collete didn't mean that-" Roy repeated himself only to stop once again when you began to cry. Roy's arms wrapped around your waist giving you the comfort you needed. "I know Roy, its just... She's never said that to me before. I know children say things like that when thier upset but I never thought it would hurt this much." you said quietly before quickling wiping your tears away when your mother walked into the room. "Ranpha, the fuher is on the phone- it's about Touya...

"I can't believe Touya asked to be removed from your command!" Roy growled as he drove you to Central. "I know, but alot has happened he was just upset." you said in Touya's defence knowing he didn't do it through hate, he only did what he thought was right. "Ranpha your being far to kind towards this. You may be demoted." Roy's voice broke through your thoughts and made you look up towards him. "I understand that, but everything that Touya is going through and feeling at this moment is my fault. I know you want to be promoted and one day become the Fuher but this time I am at fault, and I will take what ever punishment the Fuher gives me... even if it's demotion. Roy sighed in defeat and turned the steering wheel to the right leading the car into the Parking lot of Central. After you and Roy got out of the car and headed inside Roy went to put his arm around your shoulder but you pushed him away. "What's wrong?" Roy asked in a harsh whisper as a soilder walked past you and him. You ignored him and continued to walk towards the Fuher's office without another word. You knocked and heard the Fuher tell you to enter before stepping into the room with Roy behind you. You both saluted and waited for him to smile and chuckle, "At ease." before sitting in two chairs infront of his desk. Touya was sitting in the chair next to you refusing to meet your gaze. "Well, as you know I have called you here today because first Lt. Kinomoto would like to be removed from your command General." "Y-Yes sir." you whispered guiltily only to get a smile from the Fuher which quickly turned into a frown. "This is one reason I was worried when I heard of your engagement to a Lt. under your command. I warned you if somthing like this was to occur due to your relationship you would be demoted General." Touya's head shot up at that moment, he never knew of this agreement. If he would have know you risked your rank to be with him no matter how short the relationship was he would have never came to HQ. "Sir, please exscuse my interuption, but, If I would have known General Franboise was in risk of loosing her rank I would not have asked for a transfer. Please sir I beg of you, she has worked hard for that rank and doesn't deserve to loose it because of my feelings." You looked towards Touya surprised, you hadn't exspected him to stand up for you. "I am sorry Lt. but unless you both agree on ending this engagement, seeing as thier are problems in the relationship, I will have to procede in demoting Ms. Franboise. I believe our agreement was if problems during the relationship interfered with your Military careers I would demote the general. However of there is no relationship, I will simply see this as a request to change your surpior officer Mr. Kinomoto." Touya looked towards you while Roy watched the scene nervously. He had thought you where sure of your feelings, but when you rejected his affection before he became confused. "I'll leave the final descision up to you Touya." you whispered with a weak smile before reaching into your pocket and grabbing your engagement ring. Touya took the ring from your palm and stared down at it as he let his thoughts wonder. Touya then looked towards you, gave you a weak smile of his own before looking towards the Fuher. "Fuher sir, the engagement is off..."
