"Lexy was just a normal schoolgirl. 18 and ready to graduate highschool. But she seems to have taken a liking to a young man she's never met. She denies it, but she is drawn to him. However, what happens when she gets too involved?" This is a Gerard Way story. Their going to be short and to the point. It's from a first person point of view, a.k.a Lexy's. So everything you read is practically what's going on in her mind right now. But don't worry, I won't lack the juicy details. Enjoy, rate, & message.

"...Lexy, are you listening to a word i'm saying!?
The obvious answer to that would be,
"No."
I watched as my short red haired friend frowned, rolling her eyes.
"You're watching him again, aren't you?"
Now it was my turn to frown. Truth was, I was watching him.
I couldn't help it, my eyes had always wandered to the window that showed the parking lot in front of the grocery store.
Because that's where he was, each and everyday. He stood there, leaning on his car, smoking a cigarette with a cool laid back expression on his face.
For some reason, this young man enticed me. I'm not sure why, he just did.
The way he flipped his hair back, and mind you--it was getting pretty long..
The way he smiled, and how his jaw crooked slightly when he did.
But he barely ever smiled.
Yeah, that's right. I had only seen him smile once, and it's when he got a big fat A+ on one of his tests.
Hah. I remembered that day.
See, he didn't just stand there outside at night all day long smoking in the parking lot, he also went to my school.
He wasn't a very good student--or, atleast, I don't think he was, since his reaction would be no less than a kid who just found out he could buy any toy in the world.
But then again, I didn't know him, and I never bothered to because he was one of the loner kids.
He hanged around his brother if anything, and had some friends of his own.
But I called him a loner because whenever he was in that parking lot, he was alone.
No one ever came up and talked to him.
And no one ever asked his name.
He never talked unless he was spoken to.
But that never happened.
Wow, I just realized that i've been thinking of this dude way too much and my friend Emily has been talking non-stop the whole time.
"...And plus, look at his HAIR for gods sake..It's so... so long and disgusting. What boy would want to look like a girl!?"
I looked up at Emily, turning my neverending stare away from the window. "It's not disgusting," I retorted, "It's his way of style. I don't think it's that bad, to be honest."
Emily gave a small 'hmph'.
"You just want him in bed."
What!? What was THAT supposed to mean?
I didn't want him in bed. I'm not a whore.
"Yeah, right Ems. I want to fuck him so hard, man.." I muttered in a half-angry, half-sarcastic voice.
"Yeah, I know you do. I can see it in your eyes."
Suddenly I wanted to make a rude hand gesture towards Emily, but I held it in.
Emily didn't seem to have noticed that I was getting angry, though, and merely proceeded to slurp down her smoothie from her straw.
I sighed, thinking of how every day we would do this. Once school was over, we would walk to this huge grocery store named Publix. It was a weird place, though, because
ours sold smoothes and gave tables by the windows. So if you wanted to chill out, you would get a smoothie or even a sub and just eat for a little while. It was cheap, so we decided to come here everyday and just talk. Emily wasn't the only person who usually came, sometimes Charu would come, too. Or Joe.
Sometimes, like now, it was just us, though. Not that I minded. Emily was a great friend of mine that I knew for awhile.
Though sometimes she gets on my nerves, most of the time she's funny and enjoyable to be around and--..

He just looked at me.

Suddenly, my heart gave an uneasy jump and my hand grabbed onto Emily's and I looked quickly away from the window. She gave me an odd look. "What the fuck is up with you?" She asked, arching an eyebrow.
"He caught me staring."
Though she gave a loud chuckle, I didn't care. For some reason, I felt uneasy. I felt sick, nausious, even. He had never seen me look at him before, and I don't think he would've cared if he did, but for some reason I was scared. For some reason, seeing him look my way scared me. It made me feel weird inside.
I didn't like it when I didn't have control over myself.
Letting go of her hand, I slipped mine around my smoothie, clutching it tightly as my hands shook.
"Jeez, Lexy," Emily blinked, catching sight of my shaking hands. "calm the hell down. You look like you're about to have a heartattack. It's not like he's going to come up here or anything..."
But how wrong she had turned out to be.
My heart raced as I narrowed my eyes, he was walking this way.
I held in my breath, "He's coming..." I whispered nervously. Emily looked outside. I wanted to kill her for being so obviously nosey.
"What? So? Who cares.. just ignore him. I really don't know why you're so--" "SHH!!!" I hushed her.
There he was.
He walked in right as Emily decided to shut her mouth.
I held in my desire--...DESIRE? What the hell? I didn't have a desire to look at this weirdo.

Okay, maybe I did... so.. I held in my .. 'desire'.. to look at him.
But it didn't last for long, because eventually I heard him walk off to the midst of the cereal aisle, barely able to be seen.
Emily looked like she was going to explode laughing.
I glared at her, and looked back at the guy.
He was tall. Not too tall, but taller than I. He had black hair that had a natural shine to it. His skin was pretty normal. It was between tan and pale, a little more paler than tan.
He was wearing a jeans jacket with pants that looked a little too tight on him. They looked more like girls jeans than baggy man pants. It was held up by a black belt. He also had a wrist watch on, and it was black as well. He seemed to walk a little funny, too.
Wait--why the hell am I saying how he looks.. to myself!?
WHY DO I EVEN CARE?
Shaking my head, my gaze returned back to Emily.
..Who was now practically banging her head on the table trying to stop herself from bursting out laughing at me.
And it was causing quite the scene.
Finally, she looked up at me, and broke.
Her laughter was loud and rang through the store.
She couldn't help herself, I guess this was really funny to her.
Funny that I had just lost my self control and intellectuality over some random guy who smokes in a parking lot.
Trying to avoid the many stares Emily got, I looked back at the aisle.
He was staring at Emily, frowning.
I groaned, slapping my forehead with my hand.
What the hell had I just gotten myself into.
