First I had to wait until I was eighteen, then we were seperated and I waited four more years for Roy paitently but now that he and I are back together I'm waiting for him to purpose... Is this how its going to be for the rest of my life? Constantly waiting for Roy to finally catch up? Or is it me trailing behind?... Three months may not be a long time to some but for you the days went by so slowly you found yourself being depressed. Everything was wonderful between you and Roy- he told you he loved you everday, thanked you for giving birth to his child constantly, and took you out on romantic dates every Friday ending with an imtimate moment between you and Roy, and yet, you received no ring. Everyone was beginning to worry for you exspecially Collete, but there was no way you could explain what was happening without confusing her. "Are you alright Ranpha?" Your gaze left your papers and traveled to your father who was leaning against the doorframe of your office. "Hello, Hughes. I'm alright just a little tired, I was up last night taking care of Collete. She had a fever." Maes sighed and came into the room after closing the door behind him. "Ranpha I'm worried, you've been oftly somber lately." Giving Maes a weak smile you forced a laugh and hoped it would fool your father. "I'm ok, really. I'm just tired, the fuher has given me a new assignment and I'm about to get new recruits, and they're just rookies. These next few months are going to be rough on me." Standing from your seat you leaned over your desk and grabbed a few vanilla folders that were scattered. "I'm about to head to lunch, would you like to go out to eat?" your father asked kindly hoping you could spend time together. "I suppose, let me just get my coat." you said with a warm smile making your father feel relieved for it was the first sign of happiness he had seen in quite a while.
After being seated at a small cafe not far from HQ you ordered your food and waited for your father to start a conversation while staring at your ring finger. Your mother had joined you and your father leaving Colette and Alicia with Winry. "Ranpha dear your father and I are worried." You sighed and looked up at your mother who for the first time looked tired most likely from worrying. "I knew you would say somthing like that." you paused and laughed abit earning you worried looks from your parents. "Ranpha, we're serious. We know Roy hasn't well, you know, popped the question yet-" "Maes! I thought we agreed that we wouldn't bring that up!" Gracia hissed and whacked your father across the head. "It's ok Mom, Daddy's right. I guess I thought that Roy would propose after my engagement with Touya ended but he hasn't, and I need to learn to except that." "Except what?" came a familar voice gaining the attention of yourself and your parents. Touya was there with his kind smile acomined by Collete who was giggling on his shoulders. "T-Touya! It's good to see you again." Touya nodded in response and placed Collete on the floor who once free ran to your arms. "Touya took me to the park Mama! We going back to grandma's house when we saw you with grandma and grandpa so we came to say hi!" she smiled and hugged you tightly. "I don't want Mama to be sad anymore..." she added and nuzzled her head against your belly. "Mommy is going to be ok, I promice..." you whispered and held Collete close. Your father and mother stood up unexspectedly making Collete pull away. "Ranpha, I have to get back to work and Gracia is going to bring Collete home. Touya do you mind staying here with Ranpha? I think it would be best if she could talk to someone besides her parents." Embaraced you went along with your parents plans knowing your father had set you up.
"I'm so sorry for all the trouble Touya, I know my father put you up to this." you appologized after everyone had left leaving you and Touya in the cafe alone. After taking a sip of Coffee Touya shook his head and chuckled. "Your father did ask me to come and talk to you but that's not what bothers me. What does bother me, however, is that you were upset and didn't think to come to me about it. Just because we're no longer engaged doesn't mean I don't want to be your friend, Ranpha." Felling a bit guilty you looked away and stared out the window watching people walk by happily. "I know that," you admitted, "but it's about Roy and I wasn't sure if you'd be uncomfterable talking about it..." A laugh erupted from Touya startling you. You pouted abit for you had been serious and Touya stopped noticing he had affended you. "I'm sorry Ranpha, but with all that's happended between you and Roy lately do you realy think I'd get upset?" Blushing you nodded your head knowing he was right. Touya hadn't even been mad at you after he found out you and Roy had left together that night so why would he get upset now? "So are you going to tell me what's been bothering you?" Touya asked softly and rested his head against his palm. "Well, this might sound silly but... I guess I'm upset because Roy hasn't purposed." You said timidly with another blush gracing your beautiful skin. Touya didn't taunt you like you had originaly thought, instead he smiled and and gave you reassuring words. "I'm sure he's just nervous Ranpha, I mean, asking someone to marry you isn't exactly the easiest thing in thw world. It took me years to finally get the courage to ask you myself and Roy certainly isn't the type to rush into things when he feels he isn't ready. He plans things out and sticks to his plan to the very end, which is what makes him a great man, but the downside is his inabilty or resistance to change that plan which ends up affecting others like yourself." He's right... "Escuse me, would either of you like some more Coffee?" Both you and Touya looked towards the voice and was shocked to see a waiter. What had startled you and Touya was the fact that he looked exactly like Ryou who had died in Mizuho all those years ago, but with longer hair. He was also dressed in clothing that would not normally be seen in this country unless you were in Mizuho during a festival. "R-Ryou?!"

The waiter looked at you with a confused expression. "I'm sorry miss but you must be talking about someone else. My name is Ryuho, and I don't believe we've met." Even his voice sounds like Ryou... Is he a Homunculi? You gave the waitress a forced smile and stood up from your seat grabbing Touya with you. "I appologize for not calling you by the correct name. As for the coffee I'm going to have to say no, we were just about to leave." You paused and handed the waiter money. "Keep the change." you said quickly and dragged Touya with you. "Why did we leave? I thought we were going to talk." Touya said between gasps of breath as you both ran back towards central. "Didn't you recognize him Touya? You said you met Ryou in Mizuho right- well that has to be him! The only thing that doesn't make sence is the fact that I was with him when he died... which means that waiter must be a homunculi." Touya said nothing as you both continued to run into HQ and towards Roy's office. He was too buisy thinking about what you had said. "Ranpha, even if that man does end up to be a homunculi what could we possibly do? Fullmetal knows the most about them but he is in the east at the moment, not the mention the fact that the Fuher never seems interested whenever someone brings up the topic of those creatures." "I haven't thought of that yet." you admitted quietly and turned a corner quickly crashing into someone during the process. "Dammit Ranpha, what's the rush?" Roy grummbled as he helped you up from the floor. You had run into Havoc who was sulking for his ciggerete had fallen into the floor when you ran into him. "I'm so sorry Jean are you alright?" you asked worridly ignoring Roy's rude comment. "Yeah I'm fine." he said cheerfully with a wave of his hand but as soon as you looked away he sighed and began to grieve his fallen comrad. "Colonel may I speak with you?" you asked trying to be as professional as possible as soldiers continued to walk down the hallway staring at the wierd scene. "I guess." Roy said lazily and nodded his head towards Touya, his way of saying hello. Roy took hold of your hand and beckoned for Touya to fallow who did so sheepishly. Roy opened his office door and ushered both you and Touya inside. Roy sat down in his chair and brought you into his lap ignoring your whineing. "Roy stop your being rude!" you hissed and tried to pull away only to be pulled against Roy's chest. "Didn't Touya tell you? He's dating Riza." Touya blushed and looked down avoiding your gaze. "Congradulations." you said softly and gave Touya a warm smile which made his cheeks heat up. "Now that that's settled let's get to the point..."
"Why where you two alone at a cafe?" Roy asked with a little bit of a hurt expression. Touya looked up at you not knowing how to explain it to Roy. He couldn't say that he was there to help you with a problem for Roy would most likely ask about it. "Touya was with Collete today and she wanted the three of us to have lunch together." you said quickly and sent a look to Touya letting him know to let you do the talking. "Roy this is serious! If it's a homunculi we need to get rid of it. Could you imagine what would happen if it began to attack people?." Roy sighed and looked out the window watching Black Hayate run around. "I'll contact Fullmetal and talk with him about it. For now don't tell anyone not even the Fuher." He can't be serious! Does he not understand that leaving that- that monster running around is going to put everyone we love in danger?!... Even Collete... Touya watched closely as you struggled with your thoughts with a frown. He may be with Riza but he couldn't help but worry. You were the first person he ever loved and he truely believed he waas going to spend the rest of his life with you and a few months of not being with you didn't bring his feelings to a hault. Riza was kind and humble but you were innocent and beautiful, somthing he noticed even now as you bit your bottem lip with worry. "Ranpha, I understand your concern but we cannot rush into this situation. Everything will be fine, I promice." he said gently trying to soothe you. "Yes but-" A knock interupted the conversation but you didn't mind for the whole ordeal was stressing you out. "Come in." Roy called lazily and leaned back against his chair. "Colonel Sir, we've finished the work for the day and we'll be leaving soon. Is there anything else you need?" Riza asked and smiled at Touya who returned the gesture though not as warmly. Roy watched closely with a small smirk forming on his lips. "No everything is fine, infact why don't you take the rest of the day off? I'm sure you and Touya would enjoy some time alone." Roy taunted with a tone of voice you never heard before. Was he testing Touya? Touya looked uneasy at the whole situation. "I-... I'm sorry but I have alot of work to finish and I still have to train the new recruits. Sorry Lt. Hawkeye..." Riza stared at Touya with wide eyes and stepped back a bit as if she was just stabbed in the heart. "It's fine... I-I'll be leaving now." she said quietly and left the room. "Um I think it's best if we get going now." you said nervously and left Roy's lap. Touya nodded somberly and stood up from his chair and left the room leaving you to quickly say your goodbyes. "I'll see you tonight." you whispered and kissed Roy gently. "Make sure you wear that dress I bought you, we're going somewhere special tonight." he said before pulling you closer for another kiss. You pulled away and leaned your head against Roy's. "I love you." "I love yout too." you smiled and pulled away heading towards the door. "Bye love." you giggled and blew Roy a kiss with a wink leaving him staring off into space with a perverted grin.
The rest of the day went along slowly with you signing papers. "Finally I'm done!" you shouted with enthusiasm happy at the thought of leaving. Glancing at the clock you smiled seeing it was four leaving you with a few good hours to go home and get ready for your date with Roy. "Your leaving already?" Forte asked with an annoyed snort. Milfie, Vanilla, Mint, Forte, and Chitose returned from the town where Collete was born a few weeks after you returned. They where all happy to be back for life a few months ago was peaceful but there was never any excitement. "Yes I finished. Is is alright? I can stay if you really want..." Forte grinned and slapped your back playfully. "I'm just kidding, go on we all know you have a date tonight." "Let the beauty Queen alone, she has to go put on her face." Mint snickered gaining a pull of her sensitive ears from Chitose. "That's enough Mint, leave her alone." she growled and Milfie shook her head. "Good luck Ranpha." she smiled and gently pushed Vanilla forward who was hiding behind her. "Good luck General, and have a good time." You smiled and nodded before grabbing your coat and keys. "I'll see you on Monday!." you called cheerfully and closed the door. After driving home and cleaning the house up a bit you went to take a shower. "I wonder if he's going to ask me tonight..." you whispered and leaned against the tile wall with your eyes closed blissfully. A few minutes later Roy joined you with his arms wrapped tightly around your waist. You jumped and spun around to see Roy with a playful smile. "Oh I'm sorry love, did I scare you?" he taunted and nuzzled your neck. Your whole body tensed before releasing a giggle for the right side of your neck was your most sensetive. "Roy stop that!" you cried between laughs as he continued to assault your sensetive skin. "We should go get ready." you warned noting that you had been in the shower for well over an hour. Roy pouted a bit but nodded and turned off the water. You stepped out after Roy who had grabbed one large towel and wrapped it around you and him. You smiled and kissed his lips tenderly and teasingly as he dried you both off. "Are you going to wear that dress I bought you?" Roy asked with a perverted grin as he watched you put on your bra and panties. "Yes Roy, I already told you that." you sighed and rapped a robe around your body for you felt uncomfterable with Roy undressing you with his eyes. Roy sulked as he pulled on his coat completing his attire. "Can you help me with my dress Roy?" you asked timidly with a blush gracing your fair skin. Roy chuckled from across the room at your shy behavior. "Your adorable, love." he cooed and lifted your arms like a child so he could dress you. The dress was beautiful with its creamy shade and silky material. The top snugged your breast tightly while the bottom flowed beautifully from the waist down. "Roy," you gasped, "It's beautiful!" Roy smiled at your reaction knowing he had made the right choice when he bought that dress a few weeks ago. It was worth the saleswomen giving him disturbed looks. "I have another surprise for you." he grinned watching as you grew more and more curious. He's being so romantic... you thought blissfully with a blush. Roy reached into his pocket and pulled out somthing that shined in the light though you couldn't see it for Roy quickkly closed his hand around it. Ever so slowly he opened up his fist and like a curtain being drawn back his gift was reveiled...

"Roy you didn't have to..." you whispered as Roy pulled your golden hair away from the nape of your neck so he could clip the necklace in place. It fell just above your breast with diamonds lining a sasphire gem, your birthstone. "This must have cost you a fortune." you said guiltily knowing the late nights of work had led to the purchase of this gift. "It was worth it." he whispered and lowered his lips apon yours. Your heart gave a jolt as he tenderly held onto you and your whole being tingled with warmth. You pulled away and rested your forehead against his own allowing yourself to get lost in his eyes. "I love you so much." you whispered and crashed your body against Roy's in a tight embrace. Roy stared down at you with curious eyes. "I love you to Ranpha, more than you'll ever know." he whispered and placed his lips on yours once again this time adding his tounge. After pulling away he stared at you for a moment and then looked at the clock on the nightstand. His eyes widened when he noticed the time. He grabbed your hand and pulled you out of the room and headed towards the front door. "We should get going now,I made reservations." he explained when your head tilted to the side with confusion. Your eyes suddenly sparkled with excitement and Roy smirked. "I thought that would make you happy. I made sure it was at the best spot in town and our table is the best in the whole place." You kissed Roy's cheek tenderly with thanks and grabbed his arm. You placed it against your chest crushing it against your large breast. Roy blushed and looked the other way as you walked down the path towards the driveway but secretly he was enjoying the warmth the swell of your breast gave his arm. Roy pouted mentally when he opened the car door for you knowing you would have to let go of his arm. You slid into the car gracefully and gave Roy a thankful smile who returned it and kissed you softly before pulling away and closing the door. He slid in next to you and started the car before heading towards the resteraunt. On the way Roy continued to look at your from the corner of his eye. You were nervous not knowing where this night would lead. Would your dreams come true or will they be crushed like so many times before? Your hands clenched and unclenched themselves in your lap with nervousness until Roy reached with is right hand and pulled your left one into his. "Relax everything is going to be alright." he said soothingly and took his eyes off the road for a moment to kiss your forhead. "We're here." he added a moment later and got of the car to open your door. He held out his hand and helped you onto the sidewalk so you wouldn't trip.
Your eyes widened when they met the sight of the beautiful resteraunt. "Roy, this place is amazing!" you gushed your eyes sparkling with happiness. "I'm glad you like it. I just wish they would hurry and have us seated. We've been waiting for ten minutes already and we had reservations!" he growled frustrated. His eyes darted to the clock he had emmidietly located when entering the door. "Dammit, at this rate we won't make it." he muttured and jumped a bit when you rested your head against his shoulder. "It's ok Roy, I'm sure there's a reason we havn't been seated. Besides there are alot of people here." you said calmly knowing Roy's temper was rising rapidly. Finally much to the owners relief the host seated you and Roy in a secluded table away from everyone else. An orchestra was playing and the sweat melody flowed throughout the area. Roses where placed throughout the room and candles where the only lighting in the room. "I never knew the Flame Alchemist could be so romantic." you cooed slyly making Roy blush. "I can be when I want to, and if its the right person." he replied smoothly with his chin resting on his tangled hands. You smiled sweetly and rubbed your leg against Roy's under the table. He shivered and glared warning you to behave. "So," you said micheiviously, "Would it be rude of me to ask why you brought me to such a lovely place?" Your leg rubbed against Roy's once again and like before he shivered. You giggled and behaved for the rest of dinner happy that you were able to make Roy uncomfterable. During the middle of dinner Roy's eye darted towards the clock for the twelfth time. "Are you exspecting someone?" you joked and giggled when Roy blushed once again while shaking his head quickly. "Roy is that you?" A kind voice called gaining your attention. "My Roy I must say when I heard you talk about her on the phone I imagined her to be attractive but now that I see her in person I must say she's absolutely beautiful- no gorgous!" a more manley voice said with a grin who looked just like Roy. "Ranpha, I'd like you to meet my parents." You stared at the two middle-aged couple not knowing what to say. "Well aren't you adorable! My name is Collete Mustang, Roy's mother, and this is my husband William. It's a pleasure to finally meet you." she said with a warm smile that resembled Roy's. So this is the women I named Collete after, she's kind just as Roy told me. Judging by her personality I'm not surprised that she's a nurse. "Yes It's nice to finally meet you both. I was beginning to worry that Roy would forget to introduce us one day." you giggled while Roy sent you a glare. "They remind me of us when we where younger Will." Roy's mother whispered to her husband with a smile. Roy watched as his mother whispered to his father with irritation, he hated when they did that it always made him feel uncomfterable now knowing what they where saying. He stood up and pulled his chair next to yours so his parents could sit across from you and him. He draped his arm over your chair letting you lean against his shoulder while you waited for the waiter to arrive with two more chairs. After everyone was settled Roy's mother talked lightly with you before turning to her son. "I have to admit Roy I was a bit surprised when you called the other day, we havn't spoken in quite a while." she said softly watching her son lovingly. "I've been buissy at work lately..." he said with a yawn once again looking towards the clock.
Dinner went by smoothly until Roy's father brought up the topic of marriage. "So Roy, have you proposed to this beautiful young woman? Collete and I are getting old and would love to become grandparents in the near future." he joked not knowing the discomfort it brought with it. Both you and Roy tensed up but for different reasons. Roy hated when people brought up the fact that he hadn't asked you to marry him yet especially when another man had done so before him. You however tensed up at the mention of grandchildren. Would they think less of you if you told them of Collete? Roy ignored his own worries and watched you closely knowing you became nervous. "You can meet her tomarrow..." he spoke breaking the awkard silence. "Meet who?" Roy's mother asked her onyx eyes being covered as she blinked with confusion. "Your grandaughter Collete..." Both Collete and Will stared at eachother for a few moments making you think thw worst. You clutched the napkin you draped over your lap and stared down towards the floor. "How old is she? Does she look like me or Will or like Ranpha?" Collete suddenly spoke her eyes sparkling with happiness. "She's four mom, and she has Ranpha's hair and looks and my eyes." Collete squeeled with happiness knowing her grandaughter must be gorgous and with her families eyes. "So Roy, sence when did you decide to name your first daughter after your mother?" Will asked with a smile while his wife continued to smile with happiness. "Ranpha was the one to name Collete. I wasn't there for the birth she was stationed in the east and we never spoke of what to name the baby before she left." Roy replied and sent a smile your way. When he found out you had named your first child together after his mother he was so happy knowing it was a sign that you still loved him. "Thank you Ranpha, you have no idea how proud that makes me knowing my grandaughter was named after me." Roy's mother said softly and patted your hand. "We should get going Ranpha. Is that alright with you two?" Roy interupted when he noticed what time it was. They both nodded and stood up after Roy payed the bill. You all walked outside as a group and said your goodbyes heading towards your seperate cars. "Your parents are kind Roy." you said quietly after you both got in his car and drove off though you didn't know where. "Thanks, I havn't really talked to them in a while though, we got in an arguement a few years ago because they thought you were too young to be in a realationship with me." You looked at Roy nervously and whispered, "They don't want us to be together?..." Roy sighed and shook his head. "They love you Ranpha believe me, they're the kind of people who aren't afraid to let you know if they dislike you. Trust me ok?" he replied and too hold of your hand. You nodded and stared out the window noticing for the first time that you had left central. "Where are we going Roy? We just left the edge of the city-" "I know, I'm taking you somwhere special. It won't take long and we should be able to make it..." "Make what?" you asked curiously now understanding why he looked at the clock all night. "You'll see Babe, just be paitent." he cooed and kiss your hand. You sighed and pouted staring out the window. Wait, this scenery looks familar... He's taking me to the lake! The one where he told me he loved me... Your thoughts were interupted when Roy said, "We're here." He opened the door and held out a hand. "Be careful we're gunna have to hurry but the ground is rocky." he said with a smile and shook his head. "Nevermind I'll just carry you." he smirked and lifted you from the ground before he began to walk quickly through the woods. "Roy are you insane! There could be animals out here!" Roy chuckled and kissed your forehead. "There aren't any Ranpha, I used to sneak out of the house at night and come out here to think. Our house wasn't very far from here."You nodded and stayed silent enjoying how he was being to romantic. After a few more mintues of walkig you both made it to the lake. The moon was shining on the water making the area glow a beautiful silver. "Roy this is amazing!" you smiled as he placed you on the ground. You wrapped your arms around his waist and crashed your lips against his own. Roy pulled away and mummured for you to turn around. "Shooting stars!" you gasped and watched as they flew through the sky. Roy came behind you and wrapped his arms around your waist and began whispering in your ear. "When I was younger I noticed that this happened every year on this day so I made a promice to myself that I would... ask the woman I love more then anything in this world a question..." Your heart sped up and a blush graced your skin. Roy released your waist and guided his left hand down your arm and to your ring finger. You watched him carefully and gasped when a ring was placed on it. You spun around with tears in your eyes to see that Roy was already on his knee. He grabbed hold of your hand and kissed the ring as if sealing your fate together. "Ranpha, will you marry me?" Your left hand shot up and covered your mouth as you gasped. Tears ran down your beautiful skin and you nodded your head yes. Roy smiled and brought you into his arms. "Of course I'll marry you Roy, I love you!" you cried between sobs of joy. Roy smiled and kissed your lips tenderly. "I love you to Ranpha more then anything."
