~| Philosopher's Secret |~ [Book One] ||Chapter Two||

Bree dodged attack of the Fuhrer Bradley and rolled near the other side of the street. She got up and clapped her hands together.
"We are going to have some fun!" Bree yelled excitedly.
Pride smirked and laughed as the attack from Bree made his way closer and closer to him in a red-bluish fire. He dodged the attack and drew out his sword with lightening-fast speed. He ran even faster toward Bree and slashed across her shoulder causing her to loose some blood.
Meanwhile, Saya had no clue about what was going on below for she was following the peculiar girl. Saya didn't know why she was bothered by this girl, but she wanted to find out.
"Hey! Wait! I want to talk to you!"
The girl suddenly stopped jumping from roof to roof and froze. Saya caught up to her and stood her ground.
"Okay, what do you want?" the strange girl asked as she turned around. The face that Saya saw made her beckon in fear. It was the face of her deceased friend. The one that the shadows were just telling her about not even five minutes ago.
"K-Kitty...?" Saya asked with fear in her voice.
"Who is Kitty? I do not know of anyone named Kitty. I am called Curiosity." answered the girl.
Saya was in a mix of fear and shock. What was going on? This girl who called herself 'Curiosity' looked like Kitty! But it couldn't be Kitty. She was dead.
"Why do you look like her!" Saya demanded.
Curiosity smirked. "You of all people should know that one." But then her face turned from smug to confuse. "But who do you think I look like?"
Saya became less tense and prevailed over her fear of who she was staring into the face of.
"Why do you look like my friend? Kitty. You look exactly like her!"
Saya cried.
"I don't know why I look like your friend." Curiosity said, turning around. "But I must leave you. I have places to go and people to see." And with that, she whisked off into the night. By whisk, I mean jumping down from the building and running the way that Saya and Curiosity just came from. Saya followed.
Bree cried out in pain as her blood hit the ground.
"That's not even a sample of my power!" Pride claimed.
Bree grunted as she stood up strait. She grinned. "That was just a lucky shot you bastard."
Bree clapped her hands together and slammed the ground. As she did, the earth rose from below the pavement and aimed restlessly towards Pride. He dodged it easily, but the earth followed him. He dodged every attack the earth threw, but still clinged to his every movement. Bree smiled at her ability.
Saya followed Curiosity threw the dark barley lit streets wondering on where she could be heading. Soon, however she realized that they were heading back to where she had left her friend just minutes ago.
That was when she heard the sound of an explosion a block from where she was at. It had come from the area where Bree was.
Back at the fight seen, Bree was enjoying her fun as she watched Pride run helplessly away from her colossal mount of terror. As he turned around from the end of the road, he drew his sword and ran towards Bree. However, as he drew closer and closer the mount of dirt grew bigger. It then suddenly toppled over taking Pride down with it, causing a sonic explosion.

Bree decided to do her victory dance as she had just beaten Pride, or so she thought....
As Saya drew closer she noticed there was black dirt along the pavement. She knew it had to be only one person who could have caused all this damage. Bree. She started to run faster passing Curiosity.
"What the hell is going on? It looks like a war broke out here." Saya was wondering to herself. As she neared she finally made it to Bree. Saya ran up to Bree and asked "What happened?" She also took notice of the big gash in her friend's left shoulder.
"Oh, I just kicked Pride's sorry ass. He was so easy to beat, it wasn't even funny! Well... yes it was!" Bree explained laughing.
Saya did an anime sweat drop. "You buried him six feet under, didn't you?" Saya asked.
"Yup!"
"That's not how you kill the homunculi." Saya said very seriously.
Bree stopped her dance and looked at Saya. "What do you mean? I just buried him in sixty-five tons of rubble!"
Before Saya could reply, she heard a voice call out-
"Pride! Pride, where are you?"
Saya turned around to look at Curiosity. What was her connection with the homunculus?
Suddenly, the ground started to move at the place where Bree had buried him. A mangled and bloodied arm rose from the dirt.
Bree suddenly screamed, "OH MY GOD! IT'S A ZOMBIE! I KNEW THIS DAY WOULD COME!! I TOLD YOU! I TOLD YOU ALL! And you didn't believe me! You all said 'Nooo a zombie invasion wouldn't happen' But I have PROOF! See?!" Bree cried out. Saya just pushed her lightly to shut her up.
"It's not a freaking zombie you idiot! It's Pride!" Saya said as she looked around. People had started coming out of their safe homes in order to see what the racket was. Saya got worried that this fight would be big and shouldn't have any witnesses.
Saya called out to the people, "No one should be here. It's a very dangerous area. If you value your lives, I suggest you all get back into your homes. The man that my friend and I are about to fight is very dangerous and will kill anybody he will show no mercy."
Bree stood there annoyed as none of the people moved. She then looked at Saya
"What do you mean you and I will fight Pride? You will do no such thing. You just go somewhere safe and leave this to me." Bree said.
She then clapped her hands and sent a big wind towards the people sending them flying back into their homes.
"Hell no I am fighting with you!" said Saya looking at her friend.
"Oh no you aint! I will not lose another friend to this homicidal maniac! Do you understand Saya, now do as I say and get out of here. Do not make me take drastic measures!" said Bree turning her head to the already rising Pride.
"No, do you not understand that I am going to fight with you?" said Saya, tears starting to form in her eyes.
Pride stood there for a few more seconds.
"Aww what a touching moment. Why do I just do you both a favor and kill you together?" Pride remarked stubbornly.
He then took out his sword and lifted it up, ready to attack. Saya and Bree did not know what to do as Pride flung himself towards them.
Saya clapped her hands together and transmuted a dome of darkness around them both. Pride came near and flung his sword at the dome of darkness. It hit, but the attack didn't even faze the dome.
Bree clapped her hands together and formed a light of fire in her hand so she could see Saya.
"What do you think you're doin!" screamed Bree as another attack from Pride shook the dome.
"Uhh...protecting us?" Saya said sarcastically.
"I don't need you to protect me! I need you to go somewhere safe and let me handle this, but you didn't listen. I hate to have to do this, but.."
Before Saya could say anything back, Bree clapped her hands and sent her flying backwards and gently putting her on the ground 50 feet away. The dome then disappeared.
When Saya looked up she noticed that she was at their house. Ed and Al were standing above her with questionable looks on their faces.
"Saya, what's going on?" Ed asked.
She explained what was going on. When she told of how Bree wanted to take on Pride alone Al made a sly remark
"Ed, she sounds more arrogant than you are."
"Well, maybe a little too arrogant if you ask me. She is going to get herself killed out there. We have to help." said Saya getting up.
Saya looked up to the street, where the fight was now taking place, and saw Curiosity walking their way smiling. Ed and Al backed down.
"Wh-who is that?" asked Ed.
"That is the eight Sin, Curiosity." Saya answered.

HOLD ON!! NO!! NOT ANOTHER CLIFFHANGER!!!!

Okay.. nothing to say here... i know another damn cliffhanger.
