When You're Near Me(A Draco Malfoy Love Story) Part 21

Fastfoward to the day before leaving for the Malfoy Manor.

It had been two days since Flint attacked you the second time. You hadnt left your room since you got back from the hospital wing. You were packing because you, Blaise and Draco were leaving for the Malfoy Manor in two hours. When all of a sudden Draco came in.
You turned and smiled at Draco.

"Hey, Draco almost ready?" You asked closing your trunk and turning to face him.

"Yeah, but I just got an owl from my mother, she said they were leaving immediately for some business and we would be alone at the Manor. Is that going to be ok with you?" Draco asked scared you would be uncomfortable staying their with only him and Blaise.

"Yeah, actually that might be better. I wont have to deal with your parents asking me what happened, and looking sympathetic toward me the whole time." You responded grabbing his hand and squeezing it. He squeezed back lovingly and leaned down kissing your forehead. "Have I thanked you for everything you've down for me?" You asked smiling at him.

"Yes, are you ready?" He asked

"Yeah, where's Blaise?" Just as you said that in walks Blaise.

"I'm right here, lets head for Dumbledore's office to use his fireplace." He said grabbing your trunk and kissing you cheek lightly as he walked past your. You and Draco followed.


Fastforward(You just flooed to the Manor)

You dusted yourself, as did Draco and Blaise. You all of a sudden felt very tired.
"Guys, i'm going to go lay down, I feel a little tired, wake me up in about 2 hours" You said giving each of them a hug and kiss on the cheek and headed upstairs to the room that you had stayed in over the summer.

After you went to sleep(in Draco's Point of View)

You and Blaise went into the kitchen for something to eat. YOu were enjoying the food that your house elf had brought to you when all of a sudden Blaise broke the silence.

"Hey, umm I was just wondering something." He said casually.

"What?" You replied taking a sip of the drink infront of you.

"Um, that day when you are Skylar went to the lake what happened? I mean you never really told me what happened and why you carried her in from out there" Blaise asked looking at you curiously.

"Well, umm, while we were out there I kinda uh, kissed her" Draco said looking at Blaise, thinking he would be furous.

"And?"

"Well after I did she had a little breakdown and went on and on about how her first kiss was when Flint attacked her on the train and she felt like she couldnt trust guys again. And I explained to her that not all guys are jacka$$ like Flint and that we would always be there for her." You finished with tears almost rolling down your face but you stoped them before Blaise could see them.

"Did she really? Wow man I'm sorry. I could kill Flint for what he did to her. You know what we have to do know dont you?" BLaise asked.

A little confused you asked, "What?"

"Make sure she has a lot of fun this week, and forgets what happened both an the train and in Snape's office, makes sure she can trust people again." Blaise said finishing off his food and smirking.
