"I think that's the last box," Chloe sighed, setting a cardboard box down on the wooden floor.

"It looks that way," Megan smiled, as she gently bounced a fussy three month old on her hip. Emery Dawn Walker was a spitting image of her father; honey brown eyes and hair the color of chocolate.

"When are the guys coming home again?" Chloe asked, sitting down on her new black, suede couch.

"Tomorrow," Megan smiled, looking down at her daughter. "And now Jon gets to wake up at three in the morning when she wants to eat."

Chloe smiled, and let out a small yawn, "I'm so tired."

"Go to bed," Megan told her, setting Em in her car seat.

"My bed isn't even set up."

"Then go to sleep in Ryan's."

Chloe and Ryan got an apartment together. They needed each other, and they thought this was the best way of staying close.

"I think I'm just going to start unpacking," Chloe said standing up. "How did the guys weasel out of this?"

"They planned their tour accordingly."

"Stupid, circus freaks."

"Yeah, but you're in love with one of those circus freaks."

"We're friends," Chloe said. "Just friends."

"Okay," Megan laughed. "I have to put her to bed," She said picking up the baby carrier, "I'll talk to you tomorrow."

Chloe waved as her friend exited her new apartment.

Chloe sighed, and turned around.

This was going to be a long night.

It was now eleven-thirty. Chloe got next to nothing unpacked. She did, however, make Ryan's bed, and put a shower curtain up. She thought that was quite the accomplishment.

She got into a pair of pajamas that consisted of one of Ryan's old Modest Mouse shirts, and a pair of flannel sweat pants. She sat herself in front of the tv. Lucky for her, the satellite dish was installed the day before. She turned it on the CW, and started to watch a re-run of Sex and the City, and then her cell went off.

"Hello," She said slightly aggravated. She didn't bother looking at the caller id, but whoever it was just interrupted her first moment of peace.

"Fine, don't sound so happy to hear from me," Ryan laughed.

"I'm sorry, Ry," Chloe yawned.

"What were doing that got you so aggravated?"

"I was watching Sex and the City."

"Anything good happening?"

"Miranda was complaining about something," Chloe laughed. "But, anyways, what are you doing?"

"Oh, just walking up a flight of stairs."

"Um, how's that going for you?" Chloe laughed.

"Well, I'm kind of tired, so, I wish there was an elevator."

"Poor, baby," Chloe rolled her eyes. "You didn't have to run up multiple flights of stairs with heavy cardboard boxes."

"Aren't I lucky?"

"Asshole."

Ryan laughed, "How can I make it up to you?"

"I don't know," Chloe sighed. "You could hurry up, and-"

There was a knock on the door.

"Hold on, Ry, someone's at the door." Chloe got up off the couch, and walked over to the door. She pulled it open, and a smile escaped her lips, "Ryan!"
